< Jeremiah 24 >
1 The Lord showed me in vision two baskets of figs placed in front of the Lord's Temple. This happened after Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, had taken to Babylon Jehoiachin, son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, as well as the leaders of Judah, and the craftsmen and metal-workers from Jerusalem.
Sima na Nabukodonozori, mokonzi ya Babiloni, komema na bowumbu, longwa na Yelusalemi kino na Babiloni: Yekonia, mwana mobali ya Yeoyakimi, mokonzi ya Yuda, bakalaka ya Yuda, bato ya misala ya maboko mpe bato oyo balambaka bibende na moto; Yawe alakisaki ngai bitunga mibale ya bambuma ya figi oyo batiaki liboso ya Tempelo ya Yawe.
2 One basket was full of very good figs, like those that ripen early, but the other basket only had very bad figs, so bad they couldn't be eaten.
Kitunga moko ezalaki na bambuma kitoko ya figi lokola bambuma oyo etelaka liboso; mpe kitunga mosusu ezalaki na bambuma ekawuka oyo bakoki kolia te.
3 “Jeremiah,” the Lord asked, “what can you see?” “I see figs!” I replied. “The good figs look very good, but the bad figs look very bad, so bad they can't be eaten.”
Yawe atunaki ngai: — Jeremi, ozali komona nini? Nazongisaki: — Nazali komona bambuma ya figi: bambuma oyo ya kitoko ezali elengi, kasi oyo ekawuka ezali mabe mpe moto moko te akoki kolia yango.
4 Then a message from the Lord came to me, saying,
Bongo Yawe alobaki na ngai:
5 This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: The good figs represent to me the exiles from Judah, those I have sent away from here to the country of Babylonia.
— Tala liloba oyo Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele, alobi: « Ndenge bambuma kitoko oyo ya figi ezali, ndenge wana mpe nazali komona bato ya Yuda oyo natindaki na bowumbu, longwa na esika oyo kino na Babiloni.
6 I will watch over them and I will bring them back to this country. I will build them up and not tear them down; I will plant them and not uproot them.
Miso na Ngai ekozala likolo na bango mpo na kosalela bango bolamu, mpe nakozongisa bango kati na mokili oyo. Nakobongisa bango lisusu, kasi nakobebisa bango lisusu te; nakolona bango lokola nzete, nakopikola bango lisusu te.
7 I will give them the desire to know me, to know that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will come back completely committed to me.
Nakopesa bango motema oyo ekoyeba Ngai, mpo ete basosola ete nazali Yawe. Bakozala bato na Ngai, mpe Ngai nakozala Nzambe na bango, pamba te bakozongela Ngai na motema na bango mobimba.
8 But the bad figs, so bad they cannot be eaten, says the Lord, represent the way I will deal with Zedekiah, king of Judah, his officials, and those who are left of Jerusalem, as well as those remaining in this country and those living in Egypt.
Kasi ndenge bambuma ya figi oyo ekawuka ezali mabe mpe bakoki kolia yango te, » elobi Yawe, « ndenge wana mpe nakosala Sedesiasi, mokonzi ya Yuda, bakalaka na ye mpe batikali ya Yelusalemi, ezala ba-oyo batikali na mboka mpe ba-oyo bazali na Ejipito:
9 I'm going to make an example of them that will horrify and offend everyone on earth. They will be disgraced, mocked, ridiculed, and cursed everywhere I've exiled them.
nakokomisa bango eloko ya koyoka somo mpe ya koyokela pasi, na miso ya bikolo nyonso ya mabele; eloko ya kotiola, eloko ya kosakanela, eloko ya maseki, eloko ya lisuma, kati na bisika nyonso epai wapi nakobengana bango.
10 I'm going to attack them with war and famine and plague, until they're completely wiped out from the country that I gave to them and their forefathers.
Nakotindela bango mopanga, nzala makasi mpe bokono oyo ebomaka, kino tango ekosilisa koboma bango na mokili oyo napesaki bango elongo na batata na bango. »
