< Jeremiah 22 >

1 This is what the Lord says: Go to the palace of the king of Judah and give this message.
Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi na Jeremi: « Kende na ndako ya mokonzi ya Yuda mpe tatola maloba oyo:
2 Tell them: Listen to what the Lord has to say to you, king of Judah, sitting on the throne of David, you and your officials and the people here with you.
‹ Mokonzi ya Yuda, yo oyo ovandi na kiti ya bokonzi ya Davidi, yoka Liloba na Yawe! Yo, bakalaka na yo mpe bato na yo: bino nyonso oyo bolekelaka na nzela ya bikuke oyo,
3 This is what the Lord says: Do what is fair and right. Protect those who are being unjustly treated by corrupt people. Don't do anything wrong to foreigners, orphans, or the widows. Don't use violence against them. Don't kill innocent people.
tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: Bosalela bosembo mpe bosolo; bokangola wuta na maboko ya monyokoli moto oyo bazali konyokola! Bonyokola te bapaya, bana bitike mpe basi bakufisa mibali; bosala mpe bango mabe te. Bosopa te na esika oyo, makila ya bato oyo bayebi likambo te.
4 If you will honestly do what I tell you, then kings who sit on David's throne will ride on chariots and horses with their officials through the gates of this palace. They'll be accompanied by the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem.
Pamba te soki bosaleli na bokebi mibeko oyo, bakonzi oyo bakovanda na kiti ya bokonzi ya Davidi bakolekela na bikuke ya ndako oyo, na likolo ya bashar mpe ya mpunda, elongo na bakalaka mpe bato na bango.
5 But if you refuse to obey what I say, then I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that this palace will be turned into rubble.
Kasi soki botosi mibeko oyo te, › elobi Yawe, ‹ nalapi ndayi na Kombo na Ngai ete ndako oyo ekobebisama. › »
6 This is what the Lord says about the royal family of the king of Judah: You are as dear to me as the forests on Gilead and on the mountains of Lebanon. But I will turn you into a desert, into towns where no one lives.
Pamba te, tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi na tina na ndako ya mokonzi ya Yuda: « Ata soki ozali lokola Galadi na miso na Ngai, lokola songe ya ngomba ya Libani; solo, nakokomisa yo lokola esobe, lokola engumba oyo bato bavandaka te.
7 I will choose men to come and destroy you, each with their own ax. They will chop down your fine cedars and throw them in the fire.
Nakotinda bato ete baya kobebisa yo, moto na moto na bibundeli na ye; bongo bakokata banzete na yo ya sedele oyo ya kitoko mpe bakobwaka yango na moto.
8 Foreigners from many nations will pass by this city and ask each another, “Why has the Lord done such terrible things to this great city?”
Bato bakowuta na bikolo ya ndenge na ndenge bakolekela na engumba oyo mpe bakotunana: ‹ Mpo na nini Yawe asali makambo ya boye na engumba monene oyo? ›
9 People will answer, “Because they broke the agreement of the Lord their God. They went and worshiped other gods.”
Mpe eyano ekozala: ‹ Ezali mpo ete babebisi boyokani oyo basalaki elongo na Yawe, Nzambe na bango, bafukamelaki mpe basalelaki banzambe ya bapaya. › »
10 Don't weep over the king that died. Don't mourn for him. Instead weep for the king who is exiled, who will never return, who will never see his homeland again.
Bolela te mpo na kufa ya mokonzi to bosala matanga te mpo na kufa na ye! Bolela, bolela nde makasi mpo na ye oyo akei na bowumbu, mpo ete akozonga lisusu te mpe akomona lisusu te mboka epai babota ye.
11 This is what the Lord says about Jehoahaz of Josiah, king of Judah. He succeeded his father Josiah but was taken away. He will never return.
Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi mpo na Shalumi, mwana mobali ya Joziasi, mokonzi ya Yuda, oyo akitanaki na Joziasi, tata na ye, lokola mokonzi ya Yuda, kasi atikaki mboka na ye: « Akozonga lisusu te.
12 He will die in exile; he will never see this country again.
Akokufa na esika oyo bakomema ye na bowumbu, akomona lisusu mokili oyo te. »
13 Trouble is coming to Jehoiakim because he mistreats others in building his palace, by dealing unfairly with those constructing the upper floors. He makes his own people work for nothing—he doesn't pay them any wages.
« Mawa na moto oyo atongaka ndako na ye na nzela ya bosembo te, mpe bashambre na ye ya etaje, na nzela ya lokuta; oyo asalisaka bandeko na ye mosala ya pamba mpe afutaka bango eloko te;
14 He says to himself, “I'm going to build myself a great palace, with large upper rooms.” He has windows inserted, puts in cedar panels, and paints it bright red with vermilion.
oyo alobaka: ‹ Nakotongisa ndako monene oyo ekozala na bashambre minene, na etaje! › Boye atiaka yango maninisa minene, mabaya ya sedele na bamir na yango ya kati mpe akopakolaka yango langi ya motane.
15 Does it make you a king just because you have more cedar than anyone else? Your father had food and drink, didn't he? He ruled fairly and honestly, and he had a good life because of this.
Okanisi ete kotondisa ndako na mabaya ya sedele nde ekolendisa bokonzi na yo? Tata na yo azangaki bilei mpe masanga te, kasi atambolaki na bosembo mpe na boyengebene; boye alongaki na makambo nyonso.
16 He defended the poor and those in need, and so things went well. Isn't this what knowing me really means? declares the Lord.
Alongisaki babola mpe bato bakelela, mpe alongaki na makambo nyonso. Boni, yango te koyeba Ngai, » elobi Yawe?
17 But all you're looking for, all you think about, is getting whatever you want, however dishonestly. You kill the innocent, you violently mistreat and exploit your people.
« Kasi yo, miso mpe motema na yo elukaka kaka bomengo mpo na bolamu na yo moko kaka, na nzela ya kosopa makila ya bato oyo bayebi likambo te, na nzela ya konyokola bato mpe na nzela ya kobotola bango biloko. »
18 So this is what the Lord says about Jehoiakim, son of Josiah, king of Judah: They won't mourn for him, saying: “How sad, my brother! How sad my sister!” They won't mourn for him, saying: “How sad, my lord! How sad, his majesty!”
Yango wana, tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi mpo na Yeoyakimi, mwana mobali ya Joziasi, mokonzi ya Yuda: « Bakosalela ye matanga te na koloba: ‹ Mawa, ndeko na ngai ya mobali! Mawa, ndeko na ngai ya mwasi! › Bakosalela ye matanga te na koloba: ‹ Mawa, nkolo na ngai! Mawa, mokonzi na ngai! ›
19 His burial will be that of a donkey. He'll be dragged off and thrown away outside the gates of Jerusalem.
Bakokunda ye ndenge bakundaka ane, bakobenda ye mpe bakobwaka ye libanda ya bikuke ya Yelusalemi. »
20 Go to Lebanon and cry for help! Shout in Bashan! Scream from Abarim! For all your lovers have been destroyed.
« Mata na Libani mpe ganga makasi! Tika ete mongongo na yo eyokana kino na Bashani! Ganga wuta na Abarimi, pamba te baninga na yo nyonso basili kokufa!
21 I warned you when you thought you were safe and sound. But you replied, “I'm not going to listen!” That's been your attitude since you were young—you never did what I told you.
Nakebisaki yo tango ozalaki na kimia kasi olobaki: ‹ Nakoyoka te! › Ezaleli na yo ezalaka kaka boye wuta bolenge na yo, otosaka na yo Ngai te!
22 The wind will blow away all your “shepherds,” and your lovers will go into exile. Then you will be shamed and disgraced because of all the evil things you've done.
Mopepe ekomema bakambi na yo nyonso mpe baninga na yo bakokende na bowumbu. Okoyoka soni mpe okosambwa likolo ya mabe na yo nyonso.
23 You who live in “Lebanon” in your cedar nest, how much you're going to groan when agonizing pains hit you like a woman in labor.
Yo oyo ovandaka na Libani, yo oyo otongaki zala na yo kati na bandako ya sedele, yeba ete okolela tango pasi ekokomela yo, pasi oyo ekokani na pasi ya mwasi oyo azali na pasi ya kobota!
24 The Lord said to Jehoiachin, son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah: As I live, declares the Lord, even if you were a signet ring on a finger of my right hand, I would pull you off.
Na Kombo na Ngai, » elobi Yawe, « ata soki yo Konia, mwana mobali ya Yeoyakimi, mokonzi ya Yuda, ozalaki lokola lopete na mosapi ya loboko na Ngai ya mobali, nakolongola yo kaka.
25 I'm going to hand you over to those who terrify you and who want to kill you, to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and the Babylonians.
Nakokaba yo na maboko ya bato oyo bazali na posa ya koboma yo, mpe na maboko ya bato oyo obangaka, epai ya Nabukodonozori, mokonzi ya Babiloni, elongo na bato ya Babiloni.
26 I'm going to throw you out—you and the mother who gave birth to you—sending you to another country. Neither of you were born there, but both of you will die there.
Nakobengana yo elongo na mama oyo abota yo na mokili mosusu epai wapi moko te kati na bino abotama, mpe ekozala kuna nde bino mibale bokokufa.
27 You won't ever return to the country you love so much.
Bokotikala kozonga lisusu te na mokili oyo bozalaka na posa makasi ya kozonga. »
28 Who is this man Jehoiachin? A broken pot that's been thrown away, something nobody wants? Why has he and his children been thrown out, exiled in an unfamiliar country?
Boni, moto oyo, Konia, azali te mbeki ya kopasuka oyo etiolama to eloko oyo ezanga tina? Mpo na nini babengana ye elongo na bana na ye mpe babwaka bango na mokili oyo bayebi te?
29 My country, my country, my country! Listen to what the Lord has to say!
Oh mokili na ngai, mokili na ngai, mokili na ngai! Yoka Liloba na Yawe!
30 This is what the Lord says: Put this man down as having no children. He's a man who won't ever be successful in his whole life. None of his children will ever be successful either. None of them will sit on David's throne or be king in Judah.
Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: « Koma kombo ya moto oyo lokola moto oyo abota te, lokola moto oyo akolonga te na bomoi na ye, pamba te moko te kati na bana na ye akolonga, moko te akovanda lisusu na kiti ya bokonzi ya Davidi to akozala lisusu mokonzi ya Yuda. »
