< Isaiah 65 >

1 I let myself be consulted by people who weren't even asking me questions; I let myself be found by people who weren't even looking for me. To a nation that wasn't even calling for me, I said, “I'm here, I'm here!”
“Èmi fi ara mi hàn fún àwọn tí kò béèrè fún mi; àwọn tí kò wá mi ni wọ́n rí mi. Sí àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè tí kò pe orúkọ mi, ni èmi wí pé, ‘Èmi nìyìí, Èmi nìyìí.’
2 I spread out my hands all day long, pleading with a stubborn people who follow bad ways, doing whatever they choose.
Gbogbo ọjọ́ ni mo ti nawọ́ mi síta sí àwọn ènìyàn ọlọ́rùn líle, tí wọn ń rìn lọ́nà tí kò dára, tí wọ́n sì gbára lé èrò ara wọn
3 These people are always making me angry, because they present sacrifices to idols in their sacred gardens, and offer incense on pagan altars made of brick.
àwọn ènìyàn tí wọ́n bí mi nínú nígbà gbogbo lójú ara mi gan an, wọ́n ń rú ẹbọ nínú ọgbà wọ́n sì ń sun tùràrí lórí i pẹpẹ bíríkì;
4 They spend the night among the graves and in caves, eating pork and cooking other unclean meats.
wọ́n ń jókòó láàrín ibojì wọ́n sì ń lo òru wọn nínú ìṣọ́ ìkọ̀kọ̀; tí wọ́n ń jẹ ẹran ẹlẹ́dẹ̀, tí ìkòkò ọbẹ̀ wọn kún fún ẹran àìmọ́;
5 They tell others, “Keep your distance! Don't come close to me as I'm too holy to be touched by you!” These people are like smoke in my nostrils, a stink burning all day long!
tí ó wí pé, ‘Ẹ sún mẹ́yìn; ẹ má wá sọ́dọ̀ mi, nítorí mo ti jẹ́ mímọ́ jù fún un yín!’ Àwọn ènìyàn bẹ́ẹ̀ jẹ́ èéfín nínú ihò imú mi iná tí ń fi gbogbo ọjọ́ jó.
6 Look—it's all written down right in front of me! I'm not going to keep quiet. I'm going to pay them back by throwing their punishment into their laps.
“Kíyèsi i, a ti kọ ọ́ síwájú mi, Èmi kì yóò dákẹ́, ṣùgbọ́n èmi yóò san án padà lẹ́kùnrẹ́rẹ́; Èmi yóò san án padà sí àyà wọn
7 I'm going to pay you back for both your own sins and the sins of your forefathers, says the Lord, because they burned incense on the mountains and ridiculed me on the hills. I'm going to measure into their laps full payment for what they've done.
àwọn ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ yín àti tàwọn baba yín,” ni Olúwa wí. “Nítorí pé wọ́n sun ẹbọ ní orí òkè ńlá wọ́n sì ṣe ẹ̀gbin sí mi ní òkè kékeré, Èmi yóò wọ́n ọ́n sí itan wọn ẹ̀kúnrẹ́rẹ́ ẹ̀san ohun gbogbo tí wọ́n ṣe tẹ́lẹ̀.”
8 This is what the Lord says: It's like when there's a bit of juice left in a bunch of grapes and people say, “Don't get rid of it all; there's still some good in it,” I'll do the same for my servants—I won't destroy them all.
Báyìí ni Olúwa wí: “Gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìgbà tí oje sì tún wà nínú àpólà àjàrà tí àwọn ènìyàn sì wí pé, ‘Má ṣe bà á jẹ́, nítorí ìbùkún ń bẹ nínú rẹ̀,’ bẹ́ẹ̀ ni èmi yóò ṣe nítorí ìránṣẹ́ mi; Èmi kì yóò pa gbogbo wọn run.
9 I will make sure Jacob has descendants, and people from Judah who can take ownership of my mountain. My chosen ones, my servants, will own the land and live there.
Èmi yóò mú ìrandíran wá láti ìdílé Jakọbu, àti láti Juda àwọn tí yóò jogún òkè ńlá mi wọ̀n-ọn-nì; àwọn àyànfẹ́ ènìyàn mi yóò jogún wọn, ibẹ̀ ni àwọn ìránṣẹ́ mi yóò sì gbé.
10 Sharon will become a pasture for flocks, and the Valley of Achor a place for herds to rest, for my people who follow me.
Ṣaroni yóò di pápá oko fún ọ̀wọ́ ẹran, àti àfonífojì Akori yóò di ibi ìsinmi fún agbo ẹran, fún àwọn ènìyàn mi tí ó wá mi.
11 But those of you who desert the Lord and forget about my holy mountain, who prepare feasts for the god of good luck, who fill jugs of mixed wine for the god of destiny,
“Ṣùgbọ́n fún ẹ̀yin tí ó kọ Olúwa sílẹ̀ tí ó sì gbàgbé òkè ńlá mímọ́ mi, tí ó tẹ́ tábìlì fún Gadi tí ẹ sì kún abọ́ pẹ̀lú ọtí wáìnì fún àtubọ̀tán,
12 I will make sure your destiny is to be killed by the sword. All of you will bow down to be slaughtered, because I called out to you but you didn't answer; I spoke to you, but you didn't listen. Instead you did what's evil in my sight, choosing to do what I hate.
Èmi yóò yà ọ́ sọ́tọ̀ fún idà, àti pé ẹ̀yin yóò bẹ̀rẹ̀ mọ́lẹ̀ fún àwọn tí a pa; nítorí mo pè, ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀yin kò dáhùn. Mo sọ̀rọ̀ ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀yin kò tẹ́tí sílẹ̀. Ẹ̀yin ṣe búburú ní ojú mi ẹ sì yan ohun tí ó bà mí lọ́kàn jẹ́.”
13 So this is what the Lord says, My servants will eat, but you will go hungry. My servants will drink, but you will go thirsty. My servants will celebrate, but you will feel ashamed.
Nítorí náà, báyìí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: “Àwọn ìránṣẹ́ mi yóò jẹun; ṣùgbọ́n ebi yóò máa pa ẹ̀yin, àwọn ìránṣẹ́ mi yóò mu, ṣùgbọ́n òǹgbẹ yóò máa gbẹ ẹ̀yin; àwọn ìránṣẹ́ mi yóò ṣe àjọyọ̀, ṣùgbọ́n a ó dójútì yin.
14 Listen! My servants will shout because they're so happy inside, but you will cry out in deepest pain, howling because your spirit is broken.
Àwọn ìránṣẹ́ mi yóò kọrin láti inú ayọ̀ ọkàn wọn wá, ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀yin yóò kígbe sókè láti inú ìrora ọkàn yín àti ìpohùnréré ní ìròbìnújẹ́ ọkàn.
15 Your name will only be used as a curse by my chosen ones, for the Lord God will kill you and give his servants another name.

16 Whoever asks a blessing or takes an oath in the land will do so by the one true God, for I have forgotten the troubles of the past—I don't look on them anymore.
Ẹnikẹ́ni tí ó bá gbàdúrà ìbùkún ní ilẹ̀ náà yóò ṣe é nípasẹ̀ Ọlọ́run òtítọ́; Ẹni tí ó bá búra ní ilẹ̀ náà yóò búra nípasẹ̀ Ọlọ́run òtítọ́. Nítorí ìyọnu àtijọ́ yóò di ìgbàgbé yóò sì fi ara sin kúrò lójú mi.
17 Look! I'm going to create new heavens and a new earth. The former things won't be remembered—they won't cross anyone's mind!
“Kíyèsi i, Èmi yóò dá àwọn ọ̀run tuntun àti ayé tuntun. A kì yóò rántí ohun àtẹ̀yìnwá mọ́, tàbí kí wọn wá sí ọkàn.
18 Be glad, and be happy forever and ever in what I'm going to create, for I will make Jerusalem a delightful place, and its people a real joy.
Ṣùgbọ́n ẹ yọ̀ kí inú yín dùn títí láé nínú ohun tí èmi yóò dá, nítorí èmi yóò dá Jerusalẹmu láti jẹ́ ohun ìdùnnú àti àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀, ohun ayọ̀.
19 I will be so happy over Jerusalem; I will celebrate among my people. The sound of weeping and cries for help won't ever be heard there again.
Èmi yóò ṣe àjọyọ̀ lórí Jerusalẹmu n ó sì ní inú dídùn nínú àwọn ènìyàn mi; ariwo ẹkún àti igbe ni a kì yóò gbọ́ nínú rẹ̀ mọ́.
20 No babies will die after just a few days, and no adults will die without having lived a long life. Those who reach a hundred will be thought of as just a child, and anyone who doesn't reach a hundred will be seen as being under a curse.
“Títí láé a kì yóò gbọ́ nínú rẹ̀ ọmọ ọwọ́ tí yóò gbé fún ọjọ́ díẹ̀, tàbí àgbàlagbà tí kì yóò lo ọjọ́ ayé rẹ̀ tán; ẹni tí ó bá kú ní ìwọ̀n ọgọ́rùn-ún ni a ó pè ní ọ̀dọ́mọdé; ẹni tí kò ba le pé ọgọ́rùn-ún kan ni a ó pè ní ẹni ìfibú.
21 They will build houses and live in them; they will eat the fruit of the vineyards they themselves planted.
Wọn yó ò kọ́ ilé, wọn yóò sì gbé nínú wọn wọn yóò gbin ọgbà àjàrà, wọn yóò sì jẹ èso wọn.
22 No longer will they build houses for others to live in; no longer will they plant for others to eat. For my people will live as long as trees do; my chosen ones will live long enough to enjoy all they've worked for.
Wọn kì yóò kọ́ ilé fún ẹlòmíràn láti gbé, tàbí kí wọn gbìn fún ẹlòmíràn láti jẹ. Nítorí gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọjọ́ orí igi kan, bẹ́ẹ̀ ní ọjọ́ àwọn ènìyàn mi yóò rí; àwọn àyànfẹ́ mi yóò jẹ iṣẹ́ ọwọ́ wọn fún ìgbà pípẹ́.
23 They won't work for nothing, and they won't have children destined for disaster. For they are people living under the blessing of the Lord, and their children will be too.
Wọn kì yóò ṣe iṣẹ́ lásán, wọn kí yóò bímọ fún wàhálà; nítorí wọn yóò jẹ́ àwọn ènìyàn ti Olúwa bùkún fún, àwọn àti àwọn ìrandíran wọn pẹ̀lú wọn.
24 I will reply even before they ask me. While they are still speaking, I will answer them!
Kí wọn tó pè, èmi yóò dáhùn; nígbà tí wọ́n sì ń sọ̀rọ̀ lọ́wọ́, èmi yóò gbọ́.
25 The wolf and the lamb will eat together. The lion will eat straw like the ox. The snakes will eat dust. Nothing will cause any harm or damage anywhere on my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord in the same way that water fills the sea.
