Isaiah 61
1 The Spirit of the Lord God is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to announce liberation to the captives, to set the prisoners free,
Duhul Domnului DUMNEZEU este peste mine, deoarece DOMNUL m-a uns să predic veşti bune celor blânzi; el m-a trimis să leg pe cei cu inima zdrobită, să vestesc libertate captivilor şi deschiderea închisorii celor ce sunt legaţi.
2 to declare the year of the Lord's grace and the day of our God's punishment, to comfort those who mourn.
Să vestesc anul de îndurare al DOMNULUI şi ziua răzbunării Dumnezeului nostru; să mângâi pe toţi cei care jelesc.
3 The Lord will give to everyone who mourns in Zion a crown instead of ashes on their head, the oil of happiness instead of mourning, clothes of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of integrity, planted by the Lord to reveal his glory.
Să rânduiesc celor ce jelesc în Sion, să le dau frumuseţe în locul cenuşii, untdelemnul bucuriei în locul jelirii, îmbrăcămintea de laudă în locul duhului de apăsare; să fie numiţi pomi ai dreptăţii, sadul DOMNULUI, ca el să fie glorificat.
4 They will rebuild the old ruins; they will restore places abandoned long ago; they will restore towns that were destroyed, places left desolate for generation after generation.
Iar ei vor rezidi vechile ruine, vor ridica din nou pustiirile de altădată şi vor repara cetăţile risipite, pustiirile multor generaţii.
5 Foreigners will shepherd your flocks, and take care of your fields, and look after your vineyards.
Şi străini vor sta şi vor paşte turmele tale şi fiii celor străini vor fi plugarii voştri şi vierii voştri.
6 You will be called priests of the Lord, identified as ministers of our God. You will enjoy the wealth of nations and be proud that you have it.
Dar voi veţi fi numiţi Preoţi ai DOMNULUI, oamenii vă vor numi Servitori ai Dumnezeului nostru, veţi mânca bogăţiile neamurilor şi în gloria lor vă veţi făli.
7 Instead of shame you will receive a double blessing; instead of insults, you will be happy to have a double amount of land given to you, and your joy will last forever.
În locul ruşinii voastre veţi primi dublu; şi în locul ocării se vor bucura în partea lor, de aceea în ţara lor ei vor stăpâni o parte dublă, bucurie veşnică vor avea.
8 I, the Lord, love what is right. I hate robbery and injustice. I will faithfully reward my people and make an everlasting agreement with them.
Fiindcă eu, DOMNUL, iubesc judecata, urăsc jaful pentru ofranda arsă; şi voi conduce lucrarea lor în adevăr şi voi face un legământ veşnic cu ei.
9 Their descendants will be acknowledged among the nations, and their children among the peoples. Everyone who sees them will agree that they are people that the Lord has blessed.
Şi sămânţa lor va fi cunoscută printre neamuri şi urmaşii lor printre popoare, toţi cei ce îi văd îi vor recunoaşte, că ei sunt sămânţa pe care DOMNUL a binecuvântat-o.
10 I will happily celebrate in the Lord! My whole being will shout praises to my God. For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation, and has wrapped around me in a robe of goodness. I am like a bridegroom dressed for the wedding, like a bride wearing her jewels.
Mă voi bucura mult în DOMNUL, sufletul meu se va veseli în Dumnezeul meu; căci m-a îmbrăcat cu veşmintele salvării, m-a acoperit cu roba dreptăţii, ca un mire ce se împodobeşte cu ornamente şi ca o mireasă ce se înfrumuseţează cu bijuterii.
11 Just as the earth sends up shoots, and plants grow in a garden, so the Lord makes goodness and praise grow before all nations.
Căci precum pământul aduce mugurul său şi precum grădina face lucrurile ce sunt semănate în ea să răsară, astfel Domnul DUMNEZEU va face dreptatea şi lauda să răsară înaintea tuturor naţiunilor.
