< Isaiah 60 >

1 Stand up and shine, for your light has come; the glory of the Lord has risen on you.

2 Even though darkness covers the earth, and deep darkness covers the people, the Lord has risen to shine on you, and his glory appears over you.
elabena kpɔ ɖa, viviti ado ɖe anyigba katã dzi, eye blukɔ tsiɖitsiɖi atsyɔ eƒe amewo dzi, gake Yehowa adze ɖe dziwò, eye eƒe ŋutikɔkɔe anɔ dzedzem le dziwò.
3 Nations will come to your light, and kings will come to the brightness of your shining dawn.
Dukɔwo ava wò kekeli la gbɔ, eye fiawo ava wò agudzedze ƒe keklẽ la gbɔ.
4 Look all around you, and see everyone gathering and coming to you—your sons returning from far away, your young daughters being carried on the hip.
“Fɔ mo dzi, eye nàkpɔ nu siwo ƒo xlã wò. Wo katã woƒo ƒu heva gbɔwò, viwò ŋutsuwo tso didiƒe ke va, eye wolé viwò nyɔnuwo ɖe abɔdome vɛ.
5 Then you will see and shine brilliantly, your heart will beat wildly for joy, for the riches that cross the sea, the wealth of the nations, will be brought to you.
Ekema àkpɔe, ahako alɔgbɔnu. Wò dzi ati kpo, avu gblotoo kple dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ. Woatsɔ nu xɔasi siwo le atsiaƒu dzi la vɛ na wò, eye dukɔwo ƒe kesinɔnuwo ava gbɔwò.
6 Long caravans of camels will cover the land, young camels of Midian and Ephah. All the people of Sheba will come to you carrying gold and frankincense, shouting praises to the Lord.
Kposɔwo ƒe ha axɔ wò anyigba dzi hekpe ɖe Midian kple Efa ƒe kposɔviwo ŋuti. Nenema ke Sebatɔwo katã hã ava ana sika kple dzudzɔʋeʋĩdonuwo, eye woadzi ha akafu Yehowa.
7 All the flocks of Kedar will be brought to you, the rams of Nebaioth will be placed at your disposal. I will accept them as they are sacrificed on my altar, and I will glorify the Temple where I'm honored.
Woakplɔ Kedar ƒe lãhawo aƒo ƒu vɛ na wò, eye Nebayɔt ƒe agbowo asubɔ wò. Woaxɔ wo abe vɔsa ene le nye vɔsamlekpui dzi, eye maɖo atsyɔ̃ na nye gbedoxɔ kɔkɔe la.
8 What are these flying like a cloud, flying like pigeons returning to their roost?
“Ame kawoe nye ema le dzodzom le yame abe lilikpowo ene, alo abe ahɔnɛwo yina ɖe woƒe atɔwo me ene?
9 Coming from the islands that trust in me, these are ships led by those of Tarshish, bringing your children home from far away, carrying with them silver and gold. They come to honor of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has made you glorious.
Vavãe ƒukpowo le mɔ kpɔm nam. Tarsis ƒe meliwo le ŋgɔ na wo, lɔ viwò ŋutsuwo tso didiƒewo gbɔnae kple woƒe klosalo kple sika be woatsɔ ade bubu Yehowa, wò Mawu kple Israel ƒe Kɔkɔetɔ la ŋu, elabena eyae ɖo atsyɔ̃ na wò.
10 Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will work for you. Even though I did hit you when I was angry with you, now I will be kind and merciful to you.
“Amedzroviwo agbugbɔ wò gliwo aɖo, eye woƒe fiawo asubɔ wò. Togbɔ be meƒo mi le nye dziku me hã la, le nye dɔmenyo me la, makpɔ nublanui na mi.
11 Your gates will always be kept open. They won't ever be shut, day or night, so the wealth of the nations can be brought to you, with their kings being led along in a procession.
Wò agbowo anɔ ʋuʋu ɖi ɖaa. Womatu wo akpɔ gbeɖe le ŋkeke me alo zã me o. Ale be amewo nate ŋu atsɔ dukɔwo ƒe kesinɔnuwo vɛ na mi. Woƒe fiawo anɔ ŋgɔ le dziɖuɖu ƒe asaɖabɔbɔ la me,
12 Any nation or kingdom that does not serve you will be completely destroyed.
eya ta dukɔ alo fiaɖuƒe si agbe be yemasubɔ mi o la, atsrɔ̃, eye woagbãe gudugudu.
13 The glory of Lebanon will come to you: cedars, acacias, and myrtle trees, to make my Temple beautiful and to honor the place I choose to live.
“Lebanon ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe ava dziwò. Woƒe sesewu, fɔfɔli kple papawu ava na wò be woaɖo atsyɔ̃ na nye kɔkɔeƒe la, eye matsɔ ŋutikɔkɔe ada ɖe nye afɔɖoƒe.
14 The children of those who persecuted you will come and bow before you; everyone who looked down on you will bow down at your feet and will call you the City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
Ame siwo te wò ɖe to la, ƒe ŋutsuviwo ado dɔgɔ̃e ava gbɔwò. Ame siwo katã ɖe alɔme le ŋuwò la, ade ta agu ɖe wò afɔ nu, eye woayɔ wò be Yehowa ƒe Du, Israel ƒe Kɔkɔetɔ la ƒe Zion.
15 Once you were abandoned and despised, somewhere people didn't go, but now I will make you a place to be proud of forever, a joy to every generation.
“Togbɔ be wogble wò ɖi helé fu wò, eye ame aɖeke meto mewò yi o hã la, matsɔ wò awɔ atsyɔ̃ mavɔ kple dzidzɔe na dzidzimewo katã.
16 Nations will provide you with what you need, kings will take care of you as if you were their own children. You will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior and Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
Àno dukɔwo ƒe notsi, eye àno fiawo ƒe no, ekema ànyae be, nye Yehowae nye wò Ɖela, eye Yakob ƒe Ŋusẽtɔ lae nye wò xɔnametɔ.
17 I will bring you gold instead of bronze, silver instead of iron, bronze instead of wood, and iron instead of stone. I will appoint Peace as your watchman, and Goodness as your leader.
Matsɔ sika ana wò ɖe akɔbli teƒe, eye klosalo ɖe gayibɔ teƒe. Le ati teƒe la, matsɔ akɔbli na wò, eye mana gayibɔ wò ɖe kpe teƒe. Mawɔ ŋutifafa wòanye tatɔ na wò, eye dzɔdzɔenyenye nanye dziɖula na wò.
18 There won't be any more violence in your land, no more devastation and destruction within your borders. You will call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.
Womagase ŋutasesẽ ŋkɔ le wò anyigba dzi, tsɔtsrɔ̃ loo alo gbegblẽ hã manɔ wò liƒowo dzi o. Ke boŋ àyɔ wò gliwo be Ɖeɖekpɔkpɔ, eye wò agbowo be Kafukafu.
19 You won't need the light of the sun during the day, or the light of the moon at night, for the Lord your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
Ɣe maganye wò akaɖi le ŋkeke me loo alo ɣleti naklẽ ɖe dziwò o, elabena Yehowa anye wò kekeli tegbee ye wò Mawu anye wò ŋutikɔkɔe.
20 Your sun will never set, and your moon will never wane, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your time of mourning will end.
Wò ɣe magaɖo to azɔ o, eye wò ɣleti hã magaɖo xɔ azɔ o. Yehowa anye wò kekeli mavɔ, eye wò konyifaŋkekewo nu ava ayi.
21 All your people will be good, and they will own the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted with my hands, and they will reveal my glory.
Ekema wò amewo katã anye dzɔdzɔetɔwo, eye anyigba anye wo tɔ tegbee. Wonye ati fɛ̃ si medo, kple nye asinudɔwɔwɔwo be woaɖe nye ŋutikɔkɔe afia.
22 The smallest of your families will increase to a thousand, and the most insignificant will become a great nation. I am the Lord; at the right time I will do this quickly.
Ame ʋɛ siwo le mia dome la azu akpe, eye ame siwo mesɔ gbɔ o la azu dukɔ gã dranyi aɖe. Nyee nye Yehowa, le ewɔɣi la, mawɔ esia wòatsɔ kaba.”
