< Isaiah 4 >
1 At that time seven women will grab hold of one man and tell him, “We'll eat our own food and we can provide our own clothes. Just let us take your name by being married to you. Please take away our disgrace!”
Bara sana keessa dubartoonni torba nama tokkicha qabatanii, “Nu nyaatuma keenya nyaanna; uffata keenya uffanna; garuu maqaa keetiin haa waamamnu. Salphina keenya nurraa fageessi!” jedhuun.
2 But at that time, the “branch of the Lord” will be attractive and glorious; the fruit the land produces will be the pride and glory of the survivors who are left in Israel.
Bara sana keessa dameen Waaqayyoo bareedee ulfina qabaata; iji lafaas hambaa Israaʼeliif waan isaan ittiin boonanii fi ulfina taʼa.
3 Everyone who remains in Zion will be called holy—all of those who are recorded among the living in Jerusalem—
Warri Xiyoon keessatti hafan, warri Yerusaalem keessatti hambifaman, warri namoota Yerusaalem keessa jiraatan keessatti galmeeffaman hundi qulqulloota jedhamanii ni waamamu.
4 once the Lord has washed away the excrement of the daughters of Zion, and cleaned the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire.
Gooftaan xurii dubartoota Xiyoon irraa dhiqa; inni Yerusaalem irraa hafuura murtiitii fi hafuura ibiddaatiin dhiiga ni qulqulleessa.
5 Then the Lord will create over the whole of Mount Zion and over the assembly of those who meet there a cloud of smoke during the day and a blazing flame of fire during night—over everything there will be this glorious canopy.
Ergasiis Waaqayyo guutummaa Tulluu Xiyoonii fi warra achitti walitti qabaman hundaa irratti guyyaadhaan duumessa aaraa, halkaniin immoo ifa arraba ibiddaa ni uuma; ulfina sana hunda irra dunkaanatu jiraata.
6 It will provide a place to stay in the shade of the daytime heat, and a shelter to hide from storm and rain.
Innis hoʼa guyyaa irraa daʼoo fi gaaddisa, iddoo bubbee hamaa fi bokkaa jalaa itti baqatanii fi iddoo itti dhokatan taʼa.
