< Isaiah 39 >

1 At the same time Merodach-baladan, son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a gift to Hezekiah, because he had heard that Hezekiah was sick and had recovered.
Na tango wana, Merodaki-Baladani, mwana mobali ya Baladani, mokonzi ya Babiloni, atindaki mokanda mpe kado epai ya Ezekiasi, pamba te ayokaki sango ete Ezekiasi abelaki mpe abikaki.
2 Hezekiah happily welcomed the visitors and showed them what he had in his treasury—all the silver, the gold, the spices, and the expensive oils. He also showed them his whole armory and all that he had in his storehouses. In fact there wasn't anything in his palace or in the whole of his kingdom that Hezekiah didn't show them.
Ezekiasi ayambaki bantoma wana na esengo mpe alakisaki bibombelo biloko na ye ya motuya lokola palata mpe wolo, biloko ya mike-mike ya solo kitoko, mafuta ya kitoko, bibundeli na ye nyonso mpe bomengo na ye nyonso. Ezalaki na eloko moko te, ezala ya ndako na ye to ya mokili na ye mobimba, oyo azangaki kolakisa bango.
3 Then the prophet Isaiah went to King Hezekiah and asked him, “Where did those men come from, and what did they tell you?” “They came to see me from a long way away, from Babylon,” Hezekiah replied.
Boye, mosakoli Ezayi akendeki epai ya mokonzi Ezekiasi mpe atunaki ye: — Bato wana balobi nini mpe bawuti wapi? Ezekiasi azongisaki: — Bawuti mosika, na mokili ya Babiloni, mpo na koya kotala ngai.
4 “What did they see in your palace?” Isaiah asked. “They saw everything in my palace,” replied Hezekiah. “There wasn't anything in all my storehouses I didn't show them.”
Ezayi atunaki: — Bamoni eloko nini kati na ndako na yo? Ezekiasi azongisaki: — Bamoni biloko nyonso oyo ezali kati na ndako na ngai; ezali na eloko moko te, kati na bibombelo na ngai, oyo nazangi kolakisa bango.
5 Isaiah told Hezekiah, “Listen to what the Lord says:
Ezayi alobaki na Ezekiasi: — Yoka liloba oyo Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, alobi:
6 You can be certain that the time is coming when everything in your palace, and everything that your forefathers have saved up until now, will be taken away to Babylon. There will be nothing left, says the Lord.
« Solo, na mikolo oyo ekoya, nyonso oyo ezali kati na ndako na yo mpe nyonso oyo batata na yo babomba kino na mokolo ya lelo, bakomema yango na Babiloni; eloko moko te ekotikala, » elobi Yawe.
7 Some of your sons, your own offspring, will be taken to serve as eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.”
« Mingi kati na bakitani na yo, kati na ba-oyo babimi penza na mokongo na yo, bakomema bango mpe bakoboma bango mikongo mpo ete bakoma kosala kati na ndako ya mokonzi ya Babiloni. »
8 Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The message from the Lord that you have told me is fine.” For he said to himself, “There'll definitely be peace and safety in my lifetime.”
Ezekiasi azongiselaki Ezayi: — Liloba na Yawe oyo osili koloba ezali malamu. Pamba te azalaki komilobela: « Kimia mpe bobatelami ekozala penza na mikolo ya bomoi na ngai. »
