< Isaiah 15 >

1 A message about Moab. The town of Ar in Moab is devastated, destroyed in a single night! The town of Kir in Moab is devastated, destroyed in a single night!
Amụma megide Moab: Ar dị na Moab a laala nʼiyi, a lara ya nʼiyi naanị nʼotu abalị. Kia dị na Moab a laala nʼiyi, a lara ya nʼiyi naanị nʼotu abalị.
2 The people of Dibon go up to their temple to weep at its high places. The Moabites weep over the towns of Nebo and Medeba. Every head has been shaved, every beard has been cut off in mourning.
3 They wear sackcloth in their streets. On the rooftops and in the open squares they all weep, falling down crying.
Ha na-eyi akwa mkpe na-agagharị nʼezi, mkpu akwa na-ada nʼelu ụlọ, na nʼama. Ha niile ji iti mkpu na ịkwa akwa na-ada nʼala.
4 The people of Heshbon and Elealeh cry out in sadness, their voices heard as far as Jahaz. That's why even the bravest soldiers of Moab shout—because they're so terrified.
Heshbọn na Eleale na-eti mkpu akwa, a na-anụ olu akwa ha ọ bụladị ruo Jehaz. Nʼihi nke a, ndị agha Moab na-eti mkpu akwa, mkpụrụobi ha na-amakwa jijiji.
5 I weep over Moab. Moabite refugees run all the way to Zoar and to Eglath-shelishiyah. Weeping they go up Luhith hill; crying for their destruction they walk along the road to Horonaim.
Ọ na-ewute mkpụrụobi m nʼihi Moab, ndị ya na-agba ọsọ ruo ọ bụladị nʼobodo Zoa na Eglat Shelishiya. Ha na-akwa akwa dịka ha na-arịgo Luhit. Mgbe ha na-agbago ụzọ Heronaim, ha na-ebe akwa mwute nʼihi mbibi bịakwasịrị ha.
6 The waters of Nimrim have all dried up. The grass is withered, all the vegetation has disappeared—nothing green is left.
Mmiri Nimrim atachaala! Ahịhịa akpọnwụọkwala; ahịhịa ndụ niile agwụkwala o nwekwaghị akwụkwọ ndụ nke fọrọ.
7 Everything they had gained, all their possessions, they have to carry across Willow River.
Ya mere akụnụba ha kpakọbara ndị ha chekwara ka ha buuru gafee ofe ndagwurugwu warawara nke ọdọ mmiri osisi pọpla niile.
8 Their cry of grief echoes through the whole country of Moab; their wailing and mourning extends all the way from Eglaim to Beer-elim.
Mkpu akwa ha na-ada ụda gburugburu oke ala Moab niile; akwa ha na-ebesi ike na-ada ruo obodo Eglaim; abụ akwa ha na-erukwa Bịa-Elim.
9 River Dimon is full of blood, but I will bring more upon the town of Dimon—a lion to attack the Moabite refugees and those who are left in the country.
Iyi Dibọn jupụtara nʼọbara, ma aga m atụkwasịkwa ọ bụladị ọtụtụ ihe ndị ọzọ nʼelu Dibọn! Ọdụm ka a ga-atụkwasịrị ndị Moab gbapụrụ tụkwasịkwara ndị fọdụrụ nʼala ahụ.
