Isaiah 12

1 At that time you will say, “I will praise you, Lord! Though you were angry with me, your anger is over, and now you comfort me.

Ati gaafas akkana jetta: “Yaa Waaqayyo, ati natti aartee turte; aariin kees narraa deebiʼeera; na jajjabeessiteertaatii sin galateeffadha.

2 Look! God is my salvation! I will trust in him and I won't be afraid! For the Lord is my strength and song, and he has saved me!”

Dhugumaan Waaqni fayyina koo ti; ani isa nan abdadha; hin sodaadhus. Waaqayyo, Waaqayyo mataan isaa, jabinaa fi faarfannaa koo ti; inni fayyina koo taʼeera.”

3 With great happiness you will take water from the well of salvation.

Isin burqaa fayyinaa keessaa gammachuudhaan bishaan waraabbattu.

4 At that time you will say: “Praise the Lord, shout out his name! Tell the nations what he has done—let them know of his wonderful character!

Isin bara sana keessa akkana jettu: “Waaqayyoof galata galchaa; maqaa isaa waammadhaa; waan inni hojjete sabootatti beeksisaa; akka maqaan isaa ol ol jedhe lallabaa.

5 Sing to the Lord for all the glorious things he's done—let the whole world know!

Inni waan ulfina qabu hojjeteeraatii Waaqayyoon faarfadhaa; wanni kun addunyaa hunda keessatti haa beekamu.

6 Shout loudly and sing for joy, you people of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel is great, and is among you.”

Yaa saba Xiyoon, Qulqullichi Israaʼel isin gidduutti guddaadhaatii sagalee ol fudhadhaatii gammachuudhaan faarfadhaa.”
