Hosea 9
1 Israel, don't rejoice! Don't celebrate like other nations! For you have practiced prostitution; you have loved a prostitute's wages on every threshing floor of grain.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ಬೇರೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಡಬೇಡ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀಯೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಧಾನ್ಯದ ಕಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರದ ಕೂಲಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀಯೆ.
2 Your threshing floors and winepresses will not feed you; the land will fail to produce your new wine.
ಧಾನ್ಯ ಕಣವು ಮತ್ತು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೊಟ್ಟಿಯೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೊಸ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಅವಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಹೋಗುವುವು.
3 You will not stay in the Lord's land, instead Ephraim will return to Egypt, and will eat unclean food in Assyria.
ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವುದು. ಅವರು ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವರು.
4 You won't pour out any drink offerings to the Lord. None of your sacrifices will please him. Your sacrifices will be like food eaten by a person in mourning—all who eat will be unclean. You will eat this food yourselves, but it will not enter the house of the Lord.
ಅವರು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಬಲಿಗಳು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಗೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಬಲಿಗಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದುಃಖಿಸುವವರ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಹಾಗಿರುವುವು. ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಪವಿತ್ರರಾಗುವರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು ಅವರ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ತುಂಬುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸರಿಯೇ ಹೊರತು, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಲ್ಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
5 What are you going to do on the days of your appointed religious feasts, on the days of the festivals of the Lord?
ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೀನು ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀ?
6 Look, they have left because of the destruction: Egypt with gather them, and Memphis will bury them. They gain a “valued possession” for their silver. Weeds will possess them, and thorns will grow over their tents.
ಇಗೋ, ನಾಶನದಿಂದ ಅವರು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವುದು. ಮೋಫ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೂಳುವುದು. ಅವರ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳು ಮುಳ್ಳು ಪೊದೆಗಳ ಪಾಲಾಗುವುವು. ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಿಡಗಳು ಅವರ ಗುಡಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು.
7 The time of punishment has come; the day of retribution has arrived. Let Israel know! You say the prophet is a fool, the man of the Spirit is mad, because your sin and hostility is so great.
ದಂಡನೆಯ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಬಂದಿವೆ, ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವ ದಿವಸಗಳೂ ಸಮೀಪವಾಗಿವೆ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದಲೂ, ದ್ವೇಷವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದಲೂ, “ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಮೂರ್ಖನೂ, ಪ್ರೇರಿತ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹುಚ್ಚನೂ,” ಎಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.
8 The watchman over Ephraim is with my God, and a prophet is a birdcatcher's snare on all his ways. Hatred is in the house of his God
ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಆದರೂ ಅವನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲ ಬೇಟೆಯ ಬಲೆ ಒಡ್ಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ದೇವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವೇಷವಿದೆ.
9 for they have corrupted themselves so deeply, as in the time of Gibeah. He will remember their sin; he will punish their wickedness.
ಗಿಬೆಯದ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆದ ಹಾಗೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಅಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆತನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ಅವರ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸುವನು.
10 When I found Israel, it was like finding grapes in the desert. When I saw your forefathers it was like seeing early fruit on the fig tree. But when they came to Baal Peor, they gave themselves over to that shameful idol, becoming as filthy as the filthy thing they loved.
“ನಾನು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಫಲದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡೆನು. ಅಂಜೂರದ ಗಿಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ಮಾಗಿದ ಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಬಾಳ್ ಪೆಯೋರನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದು ನಾಚಿಕೆಯ ವಿಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯರಾದರು.
11 Ephraim! Like a bird that flies away so shall your glory—no births, no pregnancies, no conceptions.
ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಘನತೆಯು ಪಕ್ಷಿಯಂತೆ ಹಾರಿಹೋಗುವುದು. ಜನನವಿಲ್ಲ, ಗರ್ಭಧಾರಣೆ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಪ್ರಸವವಿಲ್ಲ.
12 Even if they bring up children, I will make sure they do not survive. What a disaster for you when I turn away from you!
ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಉಳಿಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದವರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ!
13 Ephraim! Just as I saw Tyre planted in a meadow, so too Ephraim will lead out his children to the murderer.
ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಟೈರ್‌ನಂತಹ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಡುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ಆದರೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ತನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ಯಗೆ ಈಡಾಗುವಂತೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವುದು.”
14 Give them—well, Lord, what should you give them? Give them wombs that miscarry and dry breasts.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಿರಿ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಏನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತೀರಿ? ಗರ್ಭ ಸ್ರಾವ, ಗರ್ಭವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಬತ್ತಿದ ಸ್ತನಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಿರಿ.
15 All of their evil began at Gilgal, and that's where I began to hate them. I will drive them out of my house because of their wickedness. I will love them no longer; all their leaders are rebels.
ಅವರ ದುಷ್ಟತನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವರ ಪಾಪ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಆಲಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವವರೇ.
16 Ephraim, you are blighted, dried up from the roots. You shall bear no fruit. Even if you have children, I will slaughter your beloved offspring.
ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಹೊಡೆತಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವರ ಬೇರು ಒಣಗಿಹೋಗಿದೆ, ಅವರು ಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಅವರು ಹೆತ್ತರೂ ಅವರ ಗರ್ಭದ ಪ್ರಿಯಕರವಾದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಸಹ ನಾನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವೆನು.
17 My God will reject you because you have not listened to him, and you will become homeless wanderers among the nations.
ನನ್ನ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡುವರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವವರಾಗಿರುವರು.
