Hosea 7

1 when I heal Israel, Ephraim's sins will be exposed, together with the evil actions of Samaria. They deal in lies; they are thieves who break into homes and rob people on the outside.

۱ چون اسرائیل را شفا می‌دادم، آنگاه گناه افرایم و شرارت سامره منکشف گردید، زیرا که مرتکب فریب شده‌اند. دزدان داخل می‌شوند و رهزنان در بیرون تاراج می‌نمایند.

2 But they don't realize that I remember all of their wickedness. Their sins surround them and are always before me.

۲ ودر دل خود تفکر نمی کنند که من تمامی شرارت ایشان را به یاد آورده‌ام. الان اعمالشان ایشان رااحاطه می‌نماید و آنها در نظر من واقع شده است.

3 They make their king happy with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

۳ پادشاه را بشرارت خویش و سروران را به دروغهای خود شادمان می‌سازند.

4 All of them are adulterers, burning with lust like an oven whose fire stays hot, even though it is not tended by the baker, having left the dough to rise after kneading.

۴ جمیع ایشان زناکارند مثل تنوری که خباز آن را مشتعل سازدکه بعد از سرشتن خمیر تا مخمر شدنش ازبرانگیختن آتش باز می‌ایستد.

5 On the king's birthday the princes drink so much they are sick, while he joins in with those who mock.

۵ در یوم پادشاه ما، سروران از گرمی شراب، خود را بیمار ساختند واو دست خود را به استهزاکنندگان دراز کرد.

6 Their minds are fired up like an oven; they go to him with their plots. All through the night their anger burns; in the morning it blazes out uncontrollably.

۶ زیرا که دل خود را به مکاید خویش مثل تنورنزدیک آوردند؛ و تمامی شب خباز ایشان می‌خوابد و صبحگاهان آن مثل آتش ملتهب مشتعل می‌شود.

7 All of them are as hot as a burning oven, and they exhaust their leaders. All of their kings have fallen, and not one of them calls on me.

۷ جمیع ایشان مثل تنور گرم شده، داوران خویش را می‌بلعند و همه پادشاهان ایشان می‌افتند و در میان ایشان کسی نیست که مرابخواند.

8 Ephraim mixes with the foreign nations; he is as useless as half-baked bread!

۸ افرایم با قومها مخلوط شده است. افرایم قرص نانی است که برگردانیده نشده است.

9 Foreigners drain his strength, and he doesn't even realize it. His hair is turning grey and he doesn't even notice.

۹ غریبان قوتش را خورده‌اند و او نمی داند. سفیدی بر مویهای او پاشیده شده است و اونمی داند.

10 Israel's pride testifies against him, but for all of this he still does not return to the Lord their God or look for him.

۱۰ فخر اسرائیل پیش رویش شهادت می‌دهد اما ایشان به یهوه خدای خود بازگشت نمی نمایند و با وجود این همه او را نمی طلبند.

11 Ephraim is like a dove, foolish and without sense—calling to Egypt, then going to Assyria.

۱۱ افرایم مانند کبوتر ساده دل، بی‌فهم است. مصر را می‌خوانند و بسوی آشور می‌روند.

12 When they go I will throw my net over them; I will bring them down like wild birds. When I hear them flocking together I will punish them.

۱۲ وچون می‌روند من دام خود را بر ایشان می‌گسترانم و ایشان را مثل مرغان هوا به زیر می‌اندازم وایشان را بر وفق اخباری که به جماعت ایشان رسیده است، تادیب می‌نمایم.

13 What disaster is coming to them because they have strayed from me! Destruction is coming to them because they have rebelled against me! I wish I could redeem them, but they tell lies about me.

۱۳ وای بر ایشان زیرا که از من فرار کردند. هلاکت بر ایشان باد زیراکه به من عصیان ورزیدند. اگر‌چه من ایشان رافدیه دادم، لکن به ضد من دروغ گفتند.

14 They do not cry out to me with sincere minds; instead they lie on their beds howling. They assemble together and gash themselves to gain grain and new wine, but they turn away from me.

۱۴ و از دل خود نزد من استغاثه نمی نمایند بلکه بر بسترهای خود ولوله می‌کنند. برای روغن و شراب جمع شده، بر من فتنه می‌انگیزند.

15 I myself trained them and made them strong, but now they plot evil against me.

۱۵ و اگر‌چه من بازوهای ایشان را تعلیم دادم و تقویت نمودم لیکن با من بداندیشی نمودند.

16 They turn, but not to the Most High; they are like a useless bow. Their leaders will be killed by the sword because of their cursing. Because of this they will be ridiculed in Egypt.

۱۶ ایشان رجوع می‌کنند اما نه به حضرت اعلی. مثل کمان خطاکننده شده‌اند. سروران ایشان به‌سبب غیظزبان خویش به شمشیر می‌افتند و به‌سبب همین در زمین مصر ایشان را استهزا خواهند نمود.
