< Hebrews 13 >

1 May love for each other as brothers and sisters always continue!
Chiloqꞌaj iwibꞌ chiꞌjujunal, jetaq ri qas iwachalal iwibꞌ.
2 Don't forget to show love for strangers too, because by doing so some have welcomed angels without knowing it.
Masachan chiꞌwe kikꞌamawaꞌxik ri winaq cho ri iwachoch, rumal chi e kꞌi winaq xeꞌkikꞌamawaꞌj winaq cho ri kachoch man ketaꞌm taj chi angelibꞌ ri xeꞌkikꞌamawaꞌj.
3 Remember those who are locked up in prison as if you were imprisoned with them. Remember those who are mistreated as if you were physically suffering with them.
Chenaꞌtaj chiꞌwe ri e tzꞌapital pa cheꞌ, jetaq ta ne chi ix tzꞌapital junam kukꞌ, xuqujeꞌ chenaꞌtaj chiꞌwe ri kabꞌan kꞌax chike, jetaq ta ne chi ix tajin kixriqow ri kꞌax.
4 Everyone should honor marriage. Husbands and wives should be faithful to each other. God will judge adulterers.
Rajawaxik nim kiwil ri kꞌulanem xuqujeꞌ nim chiwila ri achi ri xa jun rixoqil xuqujeꞌ ri ixoq xa jun rachajil, rumal cher ri Dios kuqꞌat na tzij pa kiwiꞌ ri e kakabꞌ kachajil, ri e kakabꞌ kixoqil xuqujeꞌ ri kakibꞌan taq mak kukꞌ taq achyabꞌ xuqujeꞌ kukꞌ taq ixoqibꞌ.
5 Don't love money; be content with what you have. God himself has said, “I'll never let you down; I'll never give up on you.”
Man kakꞌaxir ta ri iwanimaꞌ chuloqꞌaxik ri pwaq, xuqujeꞌ kuꞌl ikꞌuꞌx rukꞌ ri kꞌo iwukꞌ, rumal cher ri Dios ubꞌim loq: Man katinya ta kanoq atukel xuqujeꞌ man katintzaq ta kanoq.
6 That's why we can confidently say, “The Lord is the one who helps me, so I won't be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”
Xaq jeriꞌ rukꞌ kuꞌlibꞌal kuꞌx kujkwinik kaqabꞌij: Are ri Ajawxel kintoꞌwik; man kinxiꞌj ta wibꞌ, man kꞌo ta jun kakwinik kubꞌan kꞌax chwe.
7 Remember your leaders who explained God's word to you. Look again at the results of their lives, and imitate their trust in God.
Chenaꞌtaj chiꞌwe ri e kꞌamal taq ibꞌe, rumal aꞌreꞌ xetzijon ri utzij ri Dios chiꞌwe, chiwila ri kinoꞌjibꞌal xuqujeꞌ chiwesaj uwach ri kikojobꞌal.
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (aiōn g165)
Ri Jesucristo man kakꞌexen ta wi, Areꞌ kanoq iwir, Areꞌ kamik xuqujeꞌ Areꞌ amaqꞌel. (aiōn g165)
9 Don't get distracted by different kinds of strange teachings. It's good for the mind to be convinced by grace, not by laws concerning what we eat. Those who followed such laws didn't gain anything.
Xaq mitereneꞌj juleꞌ taq kꞌutuꞌn chik ri man are ta ukꞌutuꞌn ri Cristo. Are utz chi ri animaꞌaj kukꞌam uchuqꞌabꞌ che ri toqꞌobꞌ, man che ta ri tijowik rij ri kubꞌij ri naqꞌatajibꞌal ri man kꞌo taj kutayij chike ri ketijowik.
10 We have an altar that those priests of the Tabernacle have no right to eat from.
Ri uj yaꞌtal jun tzujbꞌal sipanik chaqe jawjeꞌ man kekwin ta wi kewaꞌ ri ajchakibꞌ ri kechakun pa ri Tabernáculo.
11 The carcasses of the animals, whose blood is carried by the high priest into the most holy place as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp.
Jeriꞌ rumal cher ri kinimaꞌqil ri chꞌawenelabꞌ cho ri Dios kukoj bꞌik ri kikikꞌel ri aꞌwaj pa ri Tyoxalaj kꞌolibꞌal rech jeriꞌ kakuyutaj ri makaj, ri kityoꞌjal kꞌu ri kaminaq taq aꞌwaj kaporoxik chrij ri tinimit.
12 In the same way Jesus also died outside the city gate so that he could make God's people holy through his own blood.
Rumal riꞌ, ri Jesús rumal utyoxirisaxik ri tinimit rukꞌ ri ukikꞌel, xkamisaxik chirij ri tinimit.
13 So let us go out to him, outside the camp, experiencing and sharing in his shame.
Chujel bꞌa bꞌik uj xuqujeꞌ rukꞌ ri Jesús, qakꞌama qe ri kꞌixibꞌal ri xuriqo are xekebꞌax cho ri ripbꞌal.
14 For we don't have a permanent city to live in here, we're looking for the home that is still to come.
Rumal cher man kꞌo ta jun qatinimit waral cho ri uwachulew, xane are qayeꞌm ri tinimit ri kape na.
15 So let us through Jesus always offer a sacrifice of praise to God—this means speaking well of God, declaring his character.
Xaq jeriꞌ qatzuju che ri Dios pa ri ubꞌiꞌ ri Jesús, sipanik rech qꞌijilaꞌnem, are waꞌ ri qꞌijilaꞌnik ri kaqaya rukꞌ ri qachiꞌ ri kuqꞌalajisaj ri ubꞌiꞌ.
16 And don't forget to do what is good, and to share with others what you have, for God is pleased when you make such sacrifices.
Masachan ubꞌanik ri utzilal chiꞌwe xuqujeꞌ chiya keꞌ nikꞌaj chik ri jastaq iwe, rumal cher are waꞌ ri kaqaj cho ri Dios.
17 Follow your leaders, and do what they tell you, for they are watching out for you and are accountable. Act in such a way that they can do this happily—and not with sadness, for that wouldn't help you!
Chiꞌnimaj ri e kꞌamal taq ibꞌe, xuqujeꞌ chimochꞌo iwibꞌ chikiwach, jeriꞌ rumal cher aꞌreꞌ kixchajinik, je ta ne chi aꞌreꞌ kejachow na kwenta cho ri Dios che ri kakꞌulmataj iwukꞌ ix.
18 Please pray for us. We're convinced we have acted in good conscience, always wanting to do what's good and right in every situation.

20 Now may the God of peace who raised our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, from the dead, with the blood of an eternal agreement— (aiōnios g166)

24 Give my greetings to all your leaders, and to all the believers there. The believers here in Italy send their greetings.
