Genesis 49
1 Jacob called his sons together, and said, “Gather round so I can tell you what's going to happen to you in the future.
௧யாக்கோபு தன் மகன்களை அழைத்து: “நீங்கள் கூடிவாருங்கள், கடைசி நாட்களில் உங்களுக்குச் சம்பவிக்கும் காரியங்களை அறிவிப்பேன்.
2 Come here, sons of Jacob, and listen to Israel your father.
௨யாக்கோபின் மகன்களே, கூடிவந்து கேளுங்கள்; உங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய இஸ்ரவேலுக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்”.
3 Reuben. You are my firstborn, conceived when I was strong, born when I was vigorous! You were above all others is position, above all others in power.
௩“ரூபனே, நீ என் முதற்பிறந்தவன்; நீ என் திறமையும், என் முதற்பெலனுமானவன்; நீ மேன்மையில் பிரதானமும் வல்லமையில் விசேஷமுமானவன்.
4 But you boil over like water, so you won't be above anyone anymore, because you went and slept with my concubine; you violated my marriage bed.
௪தண்ணீரைப்போல தளம்பினவனே, நீ மேன்மை அடையமாட்டாய்; உன் தகப்பனுடைய படுக்கையின்மேல் ஏறினாய்; நீ அதைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தினாய்; என் படுக்கையின்மேல் ஏறினானே.
5 Simeon and Levi are two of the same kind—they use their weapons for destructive violence.
௫சிமியோனும், லேவியும் சகோதரர்கள்; அவர்களுடைய பட்டயங்கள் கொடுமையின் கருவிகள்.
6 I refuse to be part of their decisions; I refuse to participate in what they do. For they killed men in their anger; they crippled cattle just for fun.
௬என் ஆத்துமாவே, அவர்களுடைய இரகசிய ஆலோசனைக்கு உடன்படாதே; என் மேன்மையே, அவர்கள் கூட்டத்தில் நீ சேராதே; அவர்கள் தங்கள் கோபத்தினாலே ஒரு மனிதனைக் கொன்று, தங்கள் அகங்காரத்தினாலே அரண்களை அழித்தார்களே.
7 I curse their anger because it is too harsh; I curse their fury because it is too cruel! I will separate their descendants throughout Jacob; I will scatter them throughout Israel.
௭அவர்களுடைய கடுமையான கோபமும், கொடுமையான மூர்க்கமும் சபிக்கப்படுவதாக; யாக்கோபிலே அவர்களைப் பிரியவும், இஸ்ரவேலிலே அவர்களைச் சிதறவும் செய்வேன்.
8 Judah, your brothers will praise you. You will defeat your enemies. Your father's sons shall bow down to you in respect.
௮யூதாவே, சகோதரர்களால் புகழப்படுபவன் நீயே; உன் கை உன் எதிரிகளுடைய கழுத்தின்மேல் இருக்கும்; உன் தகப்பனுடைய மகன்கள் உன்னைப் பணிவார்கள்.
9 My son Judah is a young lion coming back from eating its prey. He crouches and lies down like a lion. Like a lion, who would dare to disturb him?
௯யூதா பெரிய சிங்கம், நீ இரையை விரும்பி ஏறிப்போனாய்; என் மகனே, சிங்கம்போலும் கிழச்சிங்கம்போலும் மடங்கிப்படுத்தான்; அவனை எழுப்புகிறவன் யார்?
10 Judah will always hold the scepter, and the staff of authority will always be at his feet until Shiloh comes; the nations will obey him.
௧0சமாதானக் யெகோவா வரும்வரைக்கும் செங்கோல் யூதாவைவிட்டு நீங்குவதும் இல்லை, ஆளுகை அவனுடைய பாதங்களைவிட்டு ஒழிவதும் இல்லை; மக்கள் அவரிடத்தில் சேருவார்கள்.
11 He ties his donkey to the vine, his donkey's colt to the best vine. He washes his clothes in wine, his robes in the red juice of grapes.
௧௧அவன் தன் கழுதைக்குட்டியைத் திராட்சைச்செடியிலும், தன் பெண்கழுதையின் குட்டியை உயர்தர திராட்சைச்செடியிலும் கட்டுவான்; திராட்சை ரசத்திலே தன் ஆடையையும், திராட்சைப்பழங்களின் இரத்தத்திலே தன் அங்கியையும் வெளுப்பான்.
12 His eyes sparkle more than wine, and his teeth are whiter than milk.
௧௨அவனுடைய கண்கள் திராட்சைரசத்தினால் சிவப்பாகவும், அவனுடைய பற்கள் பாலினால் வெண்மையாகவும் இருக்கும்.
13 Zebulun will live on the seashore and provide a harbor for ships; his territory will extend towards Sidon.
௧௩செபுலோன் கடற்கரை அருகே குடியிருப்பான்; அவன் கப்பல் துறைமுகமாக இருப்பான்; அவனுடைய எல்லை சீதோன்வரைக்கும் இருக்கும்.
14 Issachar is a strong donkey, lying down between two saddle bags.
௧௪இசக்கார் இரண்டு சுமைகளின் நடுவே படுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிற பலத்த கழுதை.
15 He sees that the place where he's resting is good, and the land is lovely, so he's willing to lower his back to accept the burden and to work as a slave.
௧௫அவன், இளைப்பாறுதல் நல்லது என்றும், நாடு வசதியானது என்றும் கண்டு, சுமக்கிறதற்குத் தன் தோளைச் சாய்த்து, கூலிவேலை செய்கிறவனானான்.
16 Dan will judge his people as one of the tribes of Israel.
௧௬தாண் இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்களில் ஒரு கோத்திரமாகி, தன் ஜனத்தை நியாயம் விசாரிப்பான்.
17 Dan will be as dangerous as a snake beside the road, a viper by the path that bites the horse's heel, throwing its rider off backwards.
௧௭தாண், குதிரையின்மேல் ஏறியிருக்கிறவன் மல்லாந்து விழும்படியாக அதின் குதிகாலைக் கடிக்கிறதற்கு வழியில் கிடக்கிற பாம்பைப்போலவும், பாதையில் இருக்கிற விரியனைப்போலவும் இருப்பான்.
18 I trust in you to save me, Lord.
௧௮யெகோவாவே, உம்மாலே விடுவிக்கப்படக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.
19 Raiders will attack Gad, but he will attack their heels.
௧௯காத் என்பவன்மேல் ராணுவக்கூட்டம் பாய்ந்துவிழும்; அவனோ முடிவிலே அதின்மேல் பாய்ந்துவிழுவான்.
20 Asher will have delicious food—he'll produce fancy food for royalty.
௨0ஆசேருடைய ஆகாரம் கொழுமையாயிருக்கும்; ராஜாக்களுக்கு வேண்டிய ருசிகரமானவைகளை அவன் தருவான்.
21 Naphtali is a deer that's free to run; it gives birth to beautiful fawns.
௨௧நப்தலி விடுதலைபெற்ற பெண்மான்; இன்பமான வசனங்களை வசனிப்பான்.
22 Joseph is a fruitful tree, a fruitful tree beside a spring, whose branches climb over the wall.
௨௨யோசேப்பு கனிதரும் செடி; அவன் நீரூற்றின் அருகில் உள்ள கனிதரும் செடி; அதின் கொடிகள் சுவரின்மேல் படரும்.
23 The archers viciously attacked him; they shot their arrows at him with hate.
௨௩வில்வீரர்கள் அவனை மனவருத்தமாக்கி, அவன்மேல் எய்து, அவனைப் பகைத்தார்கள்.
24 But he held his bow steady, and his arms and hands moved quickly in the strength of the Mighty One of Jacob, who is called the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel.
௨௪ஆனாலும், அவனுடைய வில் உறுதியாக நின்றது; அவனுடைய புயங்கள் யாக்கோபுடைய வல்லவரின் கைகளால் பலமடைந்தன; இதினால் அவன் மேய்ப்பனும் இஸ்ரவேலின் கன்மலையும் ஆனான்.
25 The God of your father will help you and the Almighty will bless you with blessings from the heavens above, with blessings from the depths below, with blessings for many children.
௨௫உன் தகப்பனுடைய தேவனாலே அப்படியாயிற்று, அவர் உனக்குத் துணையாயிருப்பார்; சர்வவல்லவராலே அப்படியாயிற்று, அவர் உயர வானத்திலிருந்து உண்டாகும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களினாலும், கீழே ஆழத்தில் உண்டாகும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களினாலும், மார்பகங்களுக்கும் கர்ப்பங்களுக்கும் உரிய ஆசீர்வாதங்களினாலும் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்.
26 The blessings your father received were greater than the blessings of his forefathers, more than the blessings of the eternal mountains. May they be upon the head of Joseph, on the forehead of the one set apart as a leader from his brothers.
௨௬உன் தகப்பனுடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் என் பிதாக்களுடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்கு மேற்பட்டதாயிருந்து, நித்திய பர்வதங்களின் முடிவுவரைக்கும் எட்டுகின்றன; அவைகள் யோசேப்புடைய தலையின் மேலும், தன் சகோதரர்களில் விசேஷித்தவனுடைய உச்சந்தலையின்மேலும் வருவதாக.
27 Benjamin is a vicious wolf. In the morning he destroys his enemies, in the evening he divides the loot.”
௨௭பென்யமீன் பீறுகிற ஓநாய்; காலையில் தன் இரையை அழிப்பான், மாலையில் தான் கொள்ளையிட்டதைப் பங்கிடுவான்” என்றான்.
28 These are all of the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father told them as he blessed them, each according to their respective blessings.
௨௮இவர்கள் எல்லோரும் இஸ்ரவேலின் பன்னிரண்டு கோத்திரத்தார்; அவர்களுடைய தகப்பன் அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்போது, அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னது இதுதான்; அவனவனுக்குரிய ஆசீர்வாதம் சொல்லி அவனவனை ஆசீர்வதித்தான்.
29 Then he gave them the following instructions: “I'm going to die soon. Bury me with my forefathers in the cave in the field of Ephron the Hittite.
௨௯பின்னும் அவன் அவர்களை நோக்கி: “நான் என் ஜனத்தாரோடு சேர்க்கப்படப்போகிறேன்; ஏத்தியனான எப்பெரோனின் நிலத்திலுள்ள குகையிலே என்னை என் பிதாக்களருகில் அடக்கம் செய்யுங்கள்” என்று கட்டளையிட்டு;
30 This is the cave in the field of Machpelah, near Mamre in Canaan, that Abraham bought together with the field from Ephron the Hittite to own as a burial site.
௩0அந்தக் குகை கானான் தேசத்திலே மம்ரேக்கு எதிராக மக்பேலா எனப்பட்ட நிலத்தில் இருக்கிறது; அதை நமக்குச் சொந்தக் கல்லறைப் பூமியாக இருக்கும்படி, ஆபிரகாம் ஏத்தியனான எப்பெரோன் கையில் அதற்குரிய நிலத்துடனே வாங்கினார்.
31 Abraham and his wife Sarah were buried there, Isaac and his wife Rebekah were buried there, and I buried Leah there.
௩௧அங்கே ஆபிரகாமையும் அவர் மனைவியாகிய சாராளையும் அடக்கம்செய்தார்கள்; அங்கே ஈசாக்கையும் அவர் மனைவியாகிய ரெபெக்காளையும் அடக்கம்செய்தார்கள்; அங்கே லேயாளையும் அடக்கம்செய்தேன்.
32 The field and the cave were bought from the Hittites.”
௩௨அந்த நிலமும் அதில் இருக்கிற குகையும் ஏத்தின் மகன்களிடமிருந்து வாங்கப்பட்டது” என்றான்.
33 When Jacob finished giving these instructions he pulled up his feet into the bed, breathed his last, and joined his forefathers in death.
௩௩யாக்கோபு தன் மகன்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டு முடிந்தபின்பு, அவன் தன் கால்களைக் கட்டிலின்மேல் மடக்கிக்கொண்டு உயிர்போய், தன் மக்களோடு சேர்க்கப்பட்டான்.
