< Genesis 43 >

1 The famine continued to be really bad in Canaan,
Abaartuna dalka aad bay ugu xumayd.
2 so once they had finished the grain they'd brought from Egypt, their father told them, “You have to go back and buy some more grain for us.”
Oo markii ay wada cuneen hadhuudhkii ay Masar ka keeneen ayaa aabbahood ku yidhi, Bal taga haddana, oo cunto yar inoo soo iibiya.
3 But Judah responded, “The man was adamant when he warned us, ‘I won't even see you unless your brother is with you.’
Markaasaa Yahuudah la hadlay isagii, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Ninkii aad buu noogu digay, oo wuxuu nagu yidhi, Wejigayga ma aad arki doontaan in walaalkiin idinla jiro mooyaane.
4 If you send our brother Benjamin with us then we'll go and buy food for you.
Haddaad walaalkayo na raacisid, waannu dhaadhacaynaa oo cuntaannu kuu soo iibinaynaa,
5 But if you won't send him, then we won't go, because the man was very clear, ‘I won't even see you unless your brother is with you.’”
laakiinse haddaadan isaga dirin, annagu dhaadhici mayno; waayo, ninkii wuxuu nagu yidhi, Wejigayga ma aad arki doontaan in walaalkiin idinla jiro mooyaane.
6 “Why have you made things so bad for me by telling the man you had another brother?” Israel asked.
Markaasaa Israa'iil wuxuu yidhi, Maxaad sida xun iigula macaamilooteen, oo aad ninka ugu sheegteen inaad walaal kale leedihiin?
7 “The man kept on asking direct questions about us and our family like ‘Is your father still alive?’ and ‘Do you have another brother?’” they replied. “We just answered his questions. How were we to know he'd say, ‘Bring your brother here!’?”
Markaasay yidhaahdeen, Ninku wuu na haybsaday annaga iyo xigaalkayaga, oo wuxuuna yidhi, Aabbihiin weli ma nool yahay? Walaal kale ma leedihiin? Oo annana waxaannu ugu jawaabnay wixii uu na weyddiiyey; waayo, miyaannu sinaba ku garan karnay inuu nagu odhan doono, Walaalkiin keena?
8 Judah said to his father Israel, “Send the boy in my care, and we'll leave immediately, so that we can stay alive and not die—and that includes you and us and our children!
Markaasaa Yahuudah wuxuu ku yidhi aabbihiis Israa'iil, Wiilka i raaci, oo markaas waannu kici oo waannu tegi doonnaa, inaynu noolaanno, oo aynaan dhiman, annaga, iyo adiga, iyo dhallaankayaguba.
9 I promise to take care of him—I'll be personally responsible for bringing him back to you. If I don't, then I will always carry the blame!
Anigaa dammiin u noqon doona oo anaad i weyddiisan doontaa isaga. Haddii aan kuu keeni waayo isaga oo aan hortaada soo joojin waayo, aniga eeddu ha i saarnaato weligay,
10 Now let's go, because if we hadn't hesitated, we could have gone there and come back twice by now.”
waayo, haddaannan raagin, hubaal hadda mar labaad waannu soo noqon lahayn.
11 “If it has to be, then this is what you'll do,” Israel replied. “Take with you the best our country produces. Pack your bags with gifts for the man—balm, a little honey, spices, myrrh, pistachios, and almonds.
Markaasaa aabbahood Israa'iil wuxuu iyagii ku yidhi, Hadday haatan saas tahay, bal tan yeela, haddaba midhaha ugu fiican oo dalka weelashiinna ku qaada, oo bal ninkii hadiyad ugu geeya, wuxoogaa beeyo ah, iyo wuxoogaa malab ah, iyo xawaash iyo malmal, iyo lows iyo yicib;
12 Take double the money that was returned to you in your sacks—maybe it was a mistake.
gacantiinnana lacag labanlaab ah ku qaada, oo lacagtii joonyadihiinna afkooda lagu soo celiyeyna haddana gacantiinna ku qaada, waayo, mindhaa waa la soo qaldamay.
13 Take your brother and go back to the man right away.
Walaalkiinna kaxeeya, oo kaca, oo bal haddana ninkii u taga,
14 May God Almighty make the man treat you kindly so when you come before him he'll release your other brother and send Benjamin back. As for me, if I am to lose all my children, then so be it.”
oo Ilaaha Qaadirka ahu naxariis ha idinka siiyo ninka hortiisa, inuu idiin sii daayo walaalkiinnii kale iyo Benyaamiin. Oo haddaan carruurtayda ka gablamo, anaa gablamay.
15 So they packed the gifts, took double the money, and set off, accompanied by Benjamin. They arrived in Egypt and went to have an audience with Joseph.
Markaasaa nimankii waxay qaadeen hadiyaddii, lacag labanlaab ahna gacantooday ku qaadeen, Benyaamiinna way kaxeeyeen, wayna kaceen oo Masar tageen, oo waxay hor istaageen Yuusuf.
16 When Joseph saw Benjamin was with them, he told his household supervisor, “Take these men to my house. Slaughter an animal and make a meal, for they are going to eat with me at noon.”
Oo markii Yuusuf arkay Benyaamiin oo iyaga la jira ayuu wakiilkii gurigiisa ku yidhi, Nimanka guriga soo geli, dabadeedna neef qal oo diyaari, waayo, duhurka nimanku anigay ila qadayn doonaan.
17 The man did as Joseph ordered and took them to Joseph's house.
Markaasaa ninkii yeelay wixii Yuusuf ku amray; oo ninkii wuxuu nimankii soo geliyey gurigii Yuusuf.
18 They were really worried that they were being taken to Joseph's house. “It's because of the money that was put in our sacks the first time we came,” they said to each other. “That's why we're being brought in—so he can accuse us and attack us! He'll make us his slaves and take our donkeys!”
Nimankiina waa cabcabsadeen, maxaa yeelay, waxaa la soo geliyey gurigii Yuusuf; oo waxay isku yidhaahdeen, Lacagtii markii hore lagu soo celiyey joonyadaheenna weeye waxa laynoo soo xeraystay; wuxuu doonayaa inuu wax inoo qabsado, oo uu ina dhaco, oo uu ina addoonsado, dameerradeennana qaato.
19 So they went and spoke to Joseph's household supervisor at the entrance to the house.
Markaasay waxay u soo dhowaadeen wakiilkii guriga Yuusuf, oo waxay isagii kula hadleen albaabkii guriga,
20 “Please excuse us, my lord,” they said. “We came down the first time to buy food,
waxayna ku yidhaahdeen, Sayidkayagiiyow, markii hore waxaannu u soo dhaadhacnay inaannu cunto iibsanno,
21 and when we stopped for the night, we opened our sacks and each of us found our money—the exact amount—at the top of our sacks. So we've brought it back with us.
oo markii aannu meel aannu ku hoyanno gaadhnay ayaannu furnay joonyadahayagii, oo bal eeg, nin walba lacagtiisii waxay ugu jirtay joonyaddiisa afkeeda, waxay ahayd lacagtayadii oo miisaankeedii dhan yahay; oo haddana gacantayadaannu ku soo celinnay.
22 We've also brought more money to buy food. We've no idea who put our money in our sacks!”
Oo lacag kale oo aannu cunto ku iibsannona waan la soo dhaadhacnay. Annagu garan mayno kii lacagtayadii ku riday joonyadahayagii.
23 “Everything's fine!” he told them. “Don't worry! Your God, the God of your father, must have given you the treasure hidden in your sacks. I got your money.” Then he brought Simeon out to meet them.
Isna wuxuu yidhi, Nabad ha idiin ahaato, ee ha cabsanina. Ilaahiinna ah Ilaaha aabbihiin ayaa maal idiinku riday joonyadihiinnii. Anigu waan helay lacagtiinnii. Markaasuu Simecoon dibadda ugu soo bixiyey iyagii.
24 The steward took them inside Joseph's house, gave them water to wash their feet, and supplied food for their donkeys.
Oo ninkii baa nimankii soo geliyey gurigii Yuusuf, oo biyo siiyey, kolkaasay cagamaydheen. Dameerradoodiina cuntuu siiyey.
25 They got their gifts ready for when Joseph would come at noon, because they had found out that they were going to eat there.
Markaasay diyaariyeen hadiyaddii intuusan Yuusuf duhurkii iman; waayo, waxay maqleen inay halkaas wax ka cuni doonaan.
26 When Joseph arrived at the house they gave him the gifts they had brought for him, and bowed low to the ground before him.
Oo markii Yuusuf gurigii yimid ayay gurigii ugu keeneen hadiyaddii gacantooda ku jirtay, markaasay u wada sujuudeen oo wejiga dhulka saareen.
27 He asked how they were, and then he asked, “How is your elderly father doing that you spoke of? Is he still alive?”
Isna markaasuu nabdaadiyey iyagii, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Ninkii duqa ahaa oo aad sheegteen oo aabbihiin ahaa ma ladan yahay? Weli miyuu nool yahay?
28 “Yes, your servant our father is still alive, and is well,” they replied and bowed low in respect.
Markaasay yidhaahdeen, Addoonkaagii aabbahayo ahaa waa ladan yahay, welina wuu nool yahay. Kolkaasay madaxa foororiyeen, oo ay u sujuudeen.
29 Then Joseph looked over at his brother Benjamin, the son of his own mother. “Is this your youngest brother that you told me about?” he asked. “God be gracious to you, my son,” he said.
Markaasuu intuu indhihiisii kor u taagay wuxuu arkay Benyaamiin oo ahaa walaalkiisii hooyo, oo wuxuu yidhi, Kanu ma walaalkiinnii idiinku yaraa oo aad ii sheegteen baa? Oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Wiilkaygiiyow, Ilaah ha kuu roonaado.
30 Joseph had to run out quickly because he was becoming so emotional at seeing his brother. He looked for a place to cry, and went to his room to weep there.
Markaasuu Yuusuf dhaqsaday, oo goobtay meel uu ku ooyo, waayo, walaalkiis buu u beernuglaaday oo wuxuu galay qowladdiisii, oo halkaasuu ku ooyay.
31 Then he washed his face, got his emotions under control, and went back out. “Serve the food,” he ordered.
Kolkaasuu intuu fooldhaqday soo baxay; oo intuu adkaystay ayuu wuxuu yidhi, Cunto noo soo dhiga.
32 Joseph was served at a table by himself, and his brothers were served at a separate table. The Egyptians were also served at another table, because Egyptians cannot eat with Hebrews because they find this repulsive.
Markaasay isagii gooni ahaantiis ugu dhigeen, iyagiina gooni ahaantood, Masriyiintii isaga la cuntayna gooni ahaantood; maxaa yeelay, Masriyiintu lama ay cuni karin Cibraaniyada, waayo, taasu Masriyiinta karaahiyo bay u ahayd.
33 The brothers had been seated in front of him in order by age, from the firstborn, the oldest, down to the youngest, and they looked at each other in complete surprise.
Oo waxay hor fadhiisteen isagii, curadka sidii curadnimadiisii ahayd buu u fadhiistay, kii ugu yaraana yaraannimadiisii; markaasaa nimankii midba midka kale eegay oo ay wada yaabeen.
34 The food was served to them from Joseph's table, and Benjamin received five times as much as anyone else. So they ate and drank plenty with him.
Markaasaa hortiisa waxaa iyagii looga qaaday dhawr qaybood oo cunto ah, laakiinse intii Benyaamiin shan jeer bay ka weynayd kuwa kale intoodii. Kolkaasay wax cabbeen oo ay la farxeen isagii.
