Ezekiel 6
1 A message from the Lord came to me that said,
യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് എനിക്ക് ഇപ്രകാരം ഉണ്ടായി:
2 “Son of man, face towards of Israel's mountains and prophesy against them.
“മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഇസ്രായേൽ പർവതങ്ങൾക്ക് അഭിമുഖമായിനിന്ന് അവയ്ക്കെതിരേ പ്രവചിക്കുക:
3 Tell them: Mountains of Israel, listen to the message from the Lord God! This is what the Lord God says to the mountains and the hills, to the gorges and the valleys: I'm going to attack you and destroy your high places.
ഇസ്രായേൽ പർവതങ്ങളേ, യഹോവയായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം കേൾക്കുക. യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് പർവതങ്ങളോടും മലകളോടും നീരൊഴുക്കുകളോടും താഴ്വരകളോടും ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇതാ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കെതിരേ ഒരു വാൾ അയയ്ക്കാൻ പോകുന്നു. ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ നശിപ്പിക്കും.
4 Your pagan altars will be torn down, and your incense altars will be smashed to pieces. I will kill your idol worshipers right in front of their idols.
നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ നശിപ്പിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ധൂപപീഠങ്ങൾ തകർക്കും. നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ജനത്തെ ഞാൻ അരിഞ്ഞുവീഴ്ത്തും.
5 I will put the dead bodies of you Israelites in front of your idols and scatter your bones around your altars.
അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പിൽ ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ശവങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ വീഴിക്കും. നിങ്ങളുടെ അസ്ഥികൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾക്കുമുമ്പിൽ ഞാൻ ചിതറിക്കും.
6 Everywhere you live, the towns will be turned into rubble and the high places torn down. Your altars will be demolished and defiled. Your idols will be smashed and completely destroyed. Your incense altars will be knocked down, and all that you made will be ruined.
നിങ്ങൾ എവിടെപ്പാർത്താലും ആ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ നശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ തകർക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും. അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ നശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ട് ഉപയോഗശൂന്യമായിത്തീരുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ തകർത്ത് തരിപ്പണമാക്കപ്പെടുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ധൂപപീഠങ്ങൾ ഉടയ്ക്കപ്പെടുകയും നിങ്ങൾ നിർമിച്ചതൊക്കെയും തുടച്ചുനീക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും.
7 People will be killed all throughout your country. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
നിങ്ങളുടെ ജനം നിങ്ങളുടെ മധ്യേതന്നെ വധിക്കപ്പെടും, അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ, ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്ന് അറിയും.
8 However, I will let some of you survive and scatter you among the different nations and countries.
“‘എങ്കിലും ലോകത്തിലെ വിവിധ ദേശങ്ങളിലേക്കും ജനതകളിലേക്കും നിങ്ങൾ ചിതറിപ്പോകുമ്പോൾ, വാളിന്റെ വായ്ത്തലയിൽനിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ട ചിലരെ ഞാൻ അവശേഷിപ്പിക്കും.
9 Once they are they are there as prisoners in the nations, then the survivors will remember me. They will realize how sad they made me by their spiritual adultery as they deserted me with their eyes full of lust as they worshiped idols. They will hate themselves for the evil things they did, for all their disgusting sins.
അപ്പോൾ അവർ തങ്ങളെ ബന്ധിതരായി കൊണ്ടുപോയിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശങ്ങളിൽവെച്ച് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവരായ ജനം എന്നെവിട്ടു പിന്മാറിപ്പോയി വ്യഭിചാരംചെയ്യുന്ന അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും തങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ കണ്ണുകളാൽ മോഹിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടും അവർ എന്നെ എത്രയധികം ദുഃഖിതനാക്കിയെന്നും ഓർക്കും. തങ്ങൾചെയ്ത തിന്മകളോർത്തും തങ്ങളുടെ മ്ലേച്ഛതകൾ ചിന്തിച്ചും അവർ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ വെറുക്കും.
10 Then they will know that I am the Lord, and that I was not pretending when I warned them about bringing this disaster upon them.
അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്ന് അവർ അറിയും; ഈ അനർഥം അവരുടെമേൽ വരുത്തുമെന്നു ഞാൻ വെറുതേയല്ല അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളത്.
11 This is what the Lord God says: Hit yourself with your hands, stomp your feet, and shout out ‘Oh no!’ Do this because of all the terrible wickedness of the people of Israel. They are going to die by the sword and famine and disease.
“‘യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇസ്രായേൽജനത്തിന്റെ സകലദുഷ്ടതയും അറപ്പുളവാക്കുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തികളുംനിമിത്തം നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈകളടിച്ചും കാൽകൾ ചവിട്ടിയും “അയ്യോ, കഷ്ടം!” എന്നു പറയുക. അവർ വാൾകൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടും വീഴും.
12 Those living far away will die from of disease, those who are close by will be killed by the sword, and those who are left will die of starvation. This is how I will express my anger towards them.
ദൂരത്തുള്ളവർ മഹാമാരിയാൽ മരിക്കും സമീപത്തുള്ളവൻ വാളാൽ വീഴും; ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരും രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവരും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും. അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരുടെമേൽ ചൊരിയും.
13 Then you will know that I am the Lord—when the idol worshipers lie dead among their idols and altars on the top of every hill and mountain, and under every green tree and large oak. These were the pagan shrines where they offered sweet-smelling incense to all their idols.
എല്ലാ ഉയർന്ന കുന്നുകളിലും എല്ലാ പർവതശിഖരങ്ങളിലും എല്ലാ ഇലതൂർന്ന മരത്തിൻകീഴിലും തഴച്ചുവളരുന്ന എല്ലാ കരുവേലകത്തിൻകീഴിലും അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ സകലവിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കും സുഗന്ധധൂപം അർപ്പിച്ചല്ലോ. അവിടെ അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾക്കു ചുറ്റുമായി അവരുടെ ജനം വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു കിടക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്ന് അവർ അറിയും.
14 I'm going to lift up my hand to punish them. In every place they live I will make their country a wasteland, all the way from the desert in the south to Diblah in the north. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”
അവരുടെ എല്ലാ വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ഞാൻ അവർക്കെതിരായി കൈനീട്ടി ദേശത്തെ ദിബ്ലാ മരുഭൂമിയെക്കാൾ നിർജനവും ശൂന്യവുമാക്കും; അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്ന് അവർ അറിയും.’”
