< Ezekiel 38 >

1 A message from the Lord came to me, saying,
Dimteng kaniak ti sao ni Yahweh ket kunana,
2 “Son of man, face towards Gog of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. Prophesy against him
“Anak ti tao, iturongmo ti rupam kenni Gog, iti daga ti Magog, ti pangulo iti Mesec ken Tubal; ken agipadtoka iti maibusor kenkuana!
3 and declare that this is what the Lord God says: Watch out, I am condemning you, Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.
Ibagam, 'Kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Kitaem! maibusorak kenka, Gog, a pangulo iti Mesec ken Tubal.
4 I will send you in a different direction, put hooks in your jaws, and drag you out with your whole army, including your horses, your horsemen in uniform, and a host of men with large and small shields and bucklers, all waving their swords.
Isu a pagbaw-ingenkanto ket kaw-itakto ti sangim; papanawenkanto a kaduam dagiti amin nga armadam, dagiti kabaliom, ken dagiti kumakabalio, aminda a nakakalasag, maysa a dakkel a bunggoy nga addaan kadagiti dadakkel ken babassit a kalasag, aminda a nakaiggem kadagiti kampilan!
5 Soldiers from Persia, Cush, and Put will join them, all equipped with shields and helmets,
Kadduada ti Persia, Cus, ken Put, aminda a nakakalasag ken nakahelmet!
6 together with Gomer and all its armies, as well as Beth-togarmah from the distant places of the north with all its armies—and many other nations that join with you.
Ti Gomer ken dagiti amin a bunggoyna, ken ti Bet Togarma, manipud kadagiti adayo a paset iti amianan, ken dagiti amin a bunggoyna! Kaduam dagiti adu a puli dagiti tattao!
7 Get ready! Make sure you and your whole army with you is prepared. You're the one in charge of them.
Agsaganaka! Wen, isaganam ta bagim ken dagiti bunggoymo a kadduam, ket agbalinka a panguloda.
8 A long time later you will be called to battle. In the final years you will invade a country that has recovered from war. Its people will have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had been abandoned for a long time. They had been brought back from the nations, and were all living in safety.
Maayabankanto kalpasan iti adu nga al-aldaw, ken kalpasan iti sumagmamano a tawen ket mapankanto iti daga a nakalasat manipud iti kampilan ken naummong manipud iti adu a puli dagiti tattao, naummong kadagiti bantay ti Israel a nagtultuloy a nadadael. Ngem mairruarto dagiti tattao ti daga kadagiti adu a puli dagiti tattao, ket agbiagdanto a natalged, aminda!
9 You and your whole army, and the armies of many nations with you, will advance like an incoming storm, like a cloud that covers the land.
Isu a sumang-atkanto a kas iti bagyo; agbalinkanto a kasla ulep a mangkalkalob iti daga, sika ken dagiti amin a bunggoymo, dagiti amin a soldado a kaduam.
10 This is what the Lord God says: On that day you will start thinking about things in your mind, and you will come up with an evil plan.
Kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: mapasamakto daytoy iti dayta nga aldaw a mabukelto dita pusom dagiti panggep, ket agpanggepkanto kadagiti nadangkes a banbanag.'
11 You tell yourself, ‘I'm going to attack a country of undefended villages, a peaceful people who don't suspect an attack. They all live in towns without defensive walls or barred gates.
Ket ibagamto, 'Sumang-atakto iti nawaya a daga; mapanakto iti ayan dagiti tattao nga agnanaed a sitatalged, aminda nga agnanaed kadagiti awan pader wenno landokna, ken kadagiti suidad nga awan ruanganna.
12 I'll be able to loot them—I'll rob them of their possessions. I'll attack those places that were once ruined but now are inhabited again. I'll attack a people brought back from the other nations, who now own livestock and possessions, living in the center of the country.’
Agsamsam ken agtakawakto, tapno iyegko ti imak maibusor kadagiti nadadael a kabarbaro a pagnanaedan, ken maibusor kadagiti tattao a naummong manipud kadagiti nasion, dagiti tattao nga addaan kadagiti ayup ken sanikua, ken dagiti agnanaed iti tengnga ti daga.'
13 Sheba and Dedan and the traders from Tarshish with all its strong leaders will ask, ‘Are you going to loot the place? Have you gathered your armies to rob them, to carry away silver and gold, to take cattle and possessions—to grab a great deal of plunder?’
Ti Seba ken Dedan, ken dagiti agtagtagilako iti Tarsis a kaduada dagiti agtutubo a mannakigubatda—ibagadanto amin kenka, 'Immayka kadi tapno agsamsam? Inummongmo kadi ti armadam tapno agtakaw, tapno mangitalaw iti pirak ken balitok, tapno agala iti baka ken sanikua, tapno agala kadagiti adu a mabalin a masamsam?'
14 So prophesy, son of man, and tell Gog that this is what the Lord God says: On the day you attack aren't you going to notice that my people Israel are unsuspecting?
Agipadtoka ngarud, anak ti tao, ket ibagam kenni Gog, 'Kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Iti dayta nga aldaw, inton agnaedto a sitatalged dagiti tattaok nga Israelita, saanmonto kadi a maammoan ti maipapan kadakuada?
15 You'll advance from your place in the distant north, you and your many allies, everyone riding horses, a huge number of men, a massive army.
Umaykanto manipud iti lugarmo iti adayo a paset iti amianan a kaduam ti dakkel nga armada, aminda a nakasakay kadagiti kabalio, maysa a dakkel a bunggoy, maysa a dakkel nga armada?
16 You will attack my people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. Gog, in the last days I will send you to attack my land, so that the nations may acknowledge me as holy when I reveal myself to them by what I do through you.
Ket rautemto dagiti tattaok nga Israelita a kas iti ulep a mangkalub iti daga. Mapasamakto daytoy kadagiti masungad nga al-aldaw, pagbalinenkanto a kabusor ti dagak, tapno maam-ammodak dagiti nasion inton makita ni Gog ti kinasantok.
17 This is what the Lord God says: Aren't you the one of whom I spoke about long ago through my servants, the prophets of Israel? During that time didn't they prophesy for years that I would have you come and attack them?
Kastoy ti kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh: Saan kadi a sika ti sinarsaritak kadagiti napalabas nga aldaw babaen iti ima dagiti adipenko a profeta ti Israel, a nangipadto iti bukodda a tiempo kadagiti tawen nga iyegkanto a maibusor kadakuada?
18 Now on that day, the day when Gog comes to attack the country of Israel, I will become very angry, declares the Lord God.
Isu a mapasamakto iti dayta nga aldaw, inton rauten ni Gog ti daga ti Israel—kastoy ti pakaammo ti Apo a ni Yahweh—kasla rummuarto iti agongko ti nalaus a pungtotko!
19 In my passionate, furious anger I announce that at that time a violent earthquake will hit of the country of Israel.
Ta impakaammok daytoy iti kinabara ti ungetko ken umap-apuy a pungtotko: awan duadua nga addanto nakaro a ginggened iti dayta nga aldaw iti daga ti Israel.
20 Everything that lives on the earth will tremble at my presence—the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the wild animals, every creature that runs upon the ground, and every human being. The mountains will be torn down, the cliffs will collapse, and every wall will be knocked to the ground.
Agkintayegto dagitoy iti sangoanak—dagiti ikan iti baybay ken dagiti billit kadagiti tangatang, dagiti narungsot nga ayup kadagiti tay-ak, ken dagiti amin a sibibiag nga agkarkarayam iti daga, ken amin a tao nga adda iti rabaw ti daga. Margaayto dagiti bantay ken dagiti rankis, agingga a marba ti tunggal pader iti daga.
21 I will call for an attack on Gog from all my mountains, declares the Lord God. Everyone will attack his brother with sword.
Ta mangayabakto iti maysa a kampilan a maibusor kenkuana kadagiti amin a bantayko—kastoy ti pakaammo ti Apo a ni Yahweh—ti kampilan ti maysa a tao ket maibusorto iti kabsatna.
22 I will punish him with disease and bloodshed. I will send rainstorms, hailstones, fire, and sulfur down on him and his army, and on the armies of his many allies.
Ket ukomekto ida babaen iti didigra, dara, bumayakabak a tudo, ken uraro nga apuy. Iyegkonto kenkuana ken kadagiti bunggoyna ken kadagiti adu a tattao a kaduana ti tudo nga asufre.
23 I will demonstrate my true power and holiness, revealing myself to many nations. Then they will acknowledge that I am the Lord.”
Ta ipakitakto ti kinatan-okko, ti kinasantok ken ipakaammokto ti bagik kadagiti mata dagiti adu a nasion, ket maammoandanto a Siak ni Yahweh!”’
