Ezekiel 34

1 A message from the Lord came to me, saying,

யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது:

2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds who lead Israel. Prophesy and tell them that this is what the Lord God says: Disaster is coming to the shepherds of Israel, who only look after themselves, and not the sheep! Shouldn't shepherds make sure their flock is fed?

“மனுபுத்திரனே, இஸ்ரயேலின் மேய்ப்பர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக இறைவாக்கு உரை; நீ இறைவாக்குரைத்து அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது: ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: தங்களைக்குறித்து மட்டுமே கவனம் எடுக்கும் இஸ்ரயேலின் மேய்ப்பர்களுக்கு ஐயோ கேடு, மேய்ப்பர்கள் மந்தையில் கவனம் எடுக்க வேண்டுமல்லவோ?

3 You eat the cream, you use the wool for clothes, and you slaughter the fattened sheep, but you don't feed the flock.

நீங்கள் தயிரைச் சாப்பிட்டுக் கம்பளி உடைகளை உடுத்தி, சிறந்த மிருகங்களையும் அடித்துச் சாப்பிடுகிறீர்கள். ஆனால், மந்தையையோ நீங்கள் கவனிக்காது இருக்கிறீர்கள்.

4 You haven't taken care of the weak, healed the sick, bandaged the injured, brought home the strays, or looked for the lost. On the contrary, you ruled them using violence and cruelty.

நீங்கள் பெலவீனமானவைகளைப் பெலப்படுத்தவில்லை. நோயுள்ளவைகளைச் சுகப்படுத்தவுமில்லை. காயமுற்றவைகளுக்குக் கட்டுப்போடவுமில்லை. நீங்கள் வழிவிலகிப் போனவைகளைத் திருப்பிக்கொண்டு வரவில்லை. காணாமற்போனவற்றைத் தேடிப்போகவுமில்லை. அவைகளைக் கடுமையாகவும், கொடுமையாகவும் நடத்தினீர்கள்.

5 They were scattered because they didn't have a shepherd. When they scattered they were preyed on by all the wild animals for food.

மேய்ப்பன் அங்கு இல்லாதபடியால் அவை சிதறிப்போயின. அவை சிதறியபோது காட்டு மிருகங்களுக்கெல்லாம் உணவாயின.

6 My sheep strayed, going to all the mountains and high hills. They were scattered everywhere, and there was no one to go and look for them.

எனது செம்மறியாடுகள் எல்லா மலைகளிலும், ஒவ்வொரு உயர்ந்த குன்றுகளிலும் அலைந்து திரிந்தன. அவை பூமியின்மீதெங்கும் சிதறிப்போயின. அவைகளைத் தேடுவதற்கோ கவனிப்பதற்கோ ஒருவருமே இருக்கவில்லை.

7 So, you shepherds, listen to what the Lord has to say:

“‘ஆகவே மேய்ப்பர்களே, நீங்கள் யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்.

8 As I live, declares the Lord God, because my sheep didn't have a shepherd and were preyed on by all the wild animals for food, and because my shepherds didn't look after my sheep but instead only fed themselves,

நான் வாழ்வது நிச்சயம்போலவே, என் மந்தைக்கு மேய்ப்பனொருவன் இல்லாத காரணத்தால் அவை களவாடப்பட்டன. அவை காட்டு மிருகங்களுக்கெல்லாம் உணவாயின. என் மேய்ப்பர்கள் என் மந்தையைத் தேடாமல் என் மந்தையைப் பார்க்கிலும் தங்களையே கவனிக்கிறார்கள் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.

9 so, you shepherds, you listen to what the Lord has to say!

ஆகவே மேய்ப்பர்களே, யெகோவாவினுடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்.

10 This is what the Lord God says: Watch out, because I'm condemning the shepherds, and I will take my sheep back and stop them looking after the sheep so they won't be able to feed themselves anymore. I will take away my sheep from them, and I won't let them eat the sheep anymore.

ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. நான் மேய்ப்பர்களுக்கு விரோதமாயிருக்கிறேன். என் மந்தைக்கு அவர்களே கணக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும். நான் அவர்களை மந்தை மேய்ப்பதினின்றும் விலக்கிவிடுவேன். மேய்ப்பர்கள் இனியொருபோதும் என் மந்தையைத் தங்களுக்கு உணவாக்க மாட்டார்கள். நான் அவர்கள் வாயினின்று என் மந்தையைத் தப்புவிப்பேன். அவை இனியொருபோதும் அவர்களுக்கு உணவாயிருக்கப் போவதில்லை என்பதும் நிச்சயம்.

11 For this is what the Lord God says: Watch as I myself will go looking for my sheep, searching to find them.

“‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. நான், நானே எனது செம்மறியாடுகளைத் தேடி அவைகளைப் பராமரிப்பேன்.

12 Just like a shepherd goes looking for his lost sheep when he is with the flock, so I will look for my sheep. I will rescue them from everywhere they were scattered on a dark and dismal day.

ஒரு மேய்ப்பன் சிதறடிக்கப்பட்ட தன் மந்தைகளோடு இருக்கும்போது அவைகளைப் பராமரிப்பதைப்போலவே, என் செம்மறியாடுகளை நான் பராமரிப்பேன். மப்பும் மந்தாரமுமான நாளிலே, அவைகளைச் சிதறிப்போயிருந்த எல்லா இடங்களிலுமிருந்து நான் கூட்டிச்சேர்ப்பேன்.

13 I will take them out from among the other nations. I will gather them from the different countries, and bring them back to their own country. Like a shepherd I will have them feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and everywhere that people live in the country.

நான் அவைகளைப் பல நாடுகளிலும் நாடுகளிலுமிருந்து கூட்டிச்சேர்த்து, அவைகளுடைய சொந்த நாட்டிற்கே கொண்டுவருவேன். இஸ்ரயேலின் மலைகளின்மீதும், பள்ளத்தாக்குகளிலும் நாட்டின் எல்லா குடியிருப்புகளிலும் நான் அவைகளை மேய்ப்பேன்.

14 I will provide them with good pasture and places to graze in the high mountains of Israel. They will also be able to rest there in the good pasture and in the places to graze in mountains of Israel.

நல்ல பசும் புற்தரைகளிலே நான் அவைகளைப் பராமரிப்பேன். இஸ்ரயேல் மலை உச்சிகள் அவைகளின் மேய்ச்சல் நிலங்களாயிருக்கும். அங்கே நல்ல மேய்ச்சல் நிலத்தில் அவை படுத்துக்கொள்ளும். இஸ்ரயேல் மலைகளின் செழிப்பான பசும்புற்தரையில் அவை மேயும்.

15 I myself will look after my sheep and give them a place to rest, declares the Lord God.

என் செம்மறியாடுகளை நானே பராமரித்து அவைகளை இளைப்பாறச் செய்வேன் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.

16 I will go looking for the lost, bring home the strays, bandage the injured, and strengthen the weak. However, I will destroy those who are fat and strong. Because I do what's right, I will be sure to take care of them.

தொலைந்து போனவற்றை நான் தேடி, வழிதப்பிப்போனவற்றைத் திருப்பிக் கொண்டுவருவேன். காயம்பட்டவற்றை நான் கட்டி, பெலவீனமானதைப் பெலப்படுத்துவேன். ஆனால் கொழுத்ததையும் பெலமுள்ளதையும் நான் அழித்துப்போடுவேன். நான் நீதியின்படியே மந்தையை மேய்ப்பேன்.

17 My flock, this is what the Lord God says to you: Watch, because I will judge between one sheep and the next, between the rams and the goats.

“‘என் மந்தையே, ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா உன்னைக்குறித்து கூறுவது இதுவே: நான் செம்மறியாட்டுக்கும் செம்மறியாட்டுக்கும் இடையே நியாயந்தீர்பேன். செம்மறியாட்டுக் கடாக்களுக்கும் வெள்ளாட்டுக் கடாக்களுக்கும் இடையில் நான் நியாயந்தீர்ப்பேன்.

18 Aren't you satisfied with feeding in good pasture? Do you have to trample down the rest of the pasture with your feet? Aren't you satisfied to drink the clear water? Do you have to muddy the rest of it with your feet?

செம்மறியாட்டுக் கடாக்களே! வெள்ளாட்டுக் கடாக்களே! நல்ல பசும்புற்தரையில் நீங்கள் மேய்வது போதாதோ? மீதியான பசுந்தரையை உங்கள் கால்களால் மிதித்துப்போட வேண்டுமோ? தெளிந்த தண்ணீரைக் குடிப்பது உங்களுக்குப் போதாதோ? மீதியானவற்றை உங்கள் கால்களினால் கலக்கிச் சேறாக்க வேண்டுமோ?

19 Why does my flock have to feed on what your feet have trampled down, and drink the water that your feet have muddied?

என் மந்தை, நீங்கள் மிதித்துப்போட்டவற்றில் தின்று, உங்கள் கால்களினால் கலக்கியவற்றைக் குடிக்க வேண்டுமோ?

20 That's why the Lord God says to them: Watch, because I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the skinny sheep.

“‘ஆகையால் ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அவர்களுக்கு கூறுவது இதுவே. இதோ பார்! கொழுத்த செம்மறியாடுகளுக்கும் மெலிந்த செம்மறியாடுகளுக்குமிடையில் நானே தீர்ப்பு வழங்குவேன்.

21 Since you push others around with your sides and your shoulders, and use your horns to attack all the weak ones until you have chased them away,

ஏனெனில் கொழுத்த செம்மறியாடுகளே, நீங்கள் பலவீனமான செம்மறியாடுகளையெல்லாம் உங்கள் கொம்புகளினால் முட்டி, தோளினாலும் விலாவினாலும் இடித்துத் தள்ளி, அவைகளைத் துரத்திவிட்டீர்கள்.

22 I will rescue my flock, and they will no longer be your victims. I will judge between one sheep and the next.

ஆகவே நான் என் மந்தையைக் காப்பேன். அவை இனியொருபோதும் கொள்ளையாக மாட்டாது. செம்மறியாட்டுக்கும், செம்மறியாட்டுக்கும் இடையில் நான் தீர்ப்பு வழங்குவேன்.

23 I will put one shepherd in charge of them, my servant David, and he will take care of them. He will take care of them and be their shepherd.

நான் என் அடியவனாகிய தாவீதை அவைகளின் ஒரே மேய்ப்பனாக ஏற்படுத்துவேன். அவன் அவைகளைப் பராமரிப்பான். அவன் அவைகளைப் பராமரித்து, அவைகளின் மேய்ப்பனாய் இருப்பான்.

24 I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David will be their leader. I the Lord have spoken.

யெகோவாவாகிய நானே அவைகளின் இறைவனாயிருப்பேன். என் அடியவனாகிய தாவீது அவைகளின் மத்தியில் இளவரசனாயிருப்பான். யெகோவாவாகிய நானே இதைக் கூறினேன்.

25 I will make an agreement of peace with them, and get rid of the wild animals from the country, so that they can live safely in the wilderness and sleep securely in the forest.

“‘நான் என் மக்களோடு ஒரு சமாதான உடன்படிக்கை செய்து, காட்டு மிருகங்களை நாட்டிலிருந்து துரத்திவிடுவேன். அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் பாலைவனத்தில் வாழ்ந்தும் காடுகளில் உறங்கியும் பாதுகாப்பாயிருப்பார்கள்.

26 I will bless them and everywhere around my hill. I will send rain at the right time. They will be showers of blessing.

அவர்களையும், என் மலையின் சுற்றுப்புறங்களிலுள்ள இடங்களையும் நான் ஆசீர்வதிப்பேன். நான் பருவகாலத்தில் மழையைப் பொழியச்செய்வேன். அது செழிக்கப்பண்ணும் ஆசீர்வாதமான மழையாக இருக்கும்.

27 The trees in the orchards will produce their fruit; the earth will grow its crops; and my flock will be live in safety in their country. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I break their yokes of slavery, and set them free from those who made them slaves.

வெளியின் மரங்கள் தங்கள் பழங்களைக் கொடுக்கும். பூமி தன் விளைச்சலைக் கொடுக்கும். மக்கள் தங்கள் நாட்டில் பாதுகாப்பாக இருப்பார்கள். அவர்களுடைய நுகத்தடிகளை நான் முறித்து, அடிமைப்படுத்தினவர்களின் கைகளிலிருந்து அவர்களை விடுவிப்பேன். அப்பொழுது நானே யெகோவா என்பதை அவர்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

28 They won't be the victims of other nations anymore, and wild animals won't eat them. They will live in safety, and no one will terrorize them.

அவர்கள் இனியொருபோதும் நாடுகளால் கொள்ளையிடப்படவும் மாட்டார்கள். காட்டு மிருகங்கள் அவர்களை விழுங்குவதுமில்லை. அவர்கள் பாதுகாப்பாக வாழ்வார்கள். அவர்களை ஒருவனும் பயமுறுத்துவதுமில்லை.

29 I will make their fields produce remarkable harvests, and they won't suffer famine in their country again or be mocked by others.

பயிருக்குப் பேர்பெற்ற ஒரு நிலத்தை நான் அவர்களுக்கு அளிப்பேன். அவர்கள் இனியொருபோதும் நாட்டில் வரும் பஞ்சத்துக்கு இரையாவதில்லை. தேசத்தாரின் கேலிக்கும் ஆளாவதில்லை.

30 Then they will know that I am with them as the Lord their God, and that the people of Israel belong to me, declares the Lord God.

அப்பொழுது இறைவனும் கர்த்தருமாகிய நான் அவர்களோடிருக்கிறேன் என்றும், இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பமாகிய அவர்கள் என் மக்கள் என்றும் அவர்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.

31 You are my sheep, the sheep that I feed. You are my people, and I am your God, declares the Lord God.”

என் செம்மறியாடுகளே, என் மேய்ச்சலின் செம்மறியாடுகளே, நீங்கள் என் மக்கள். நானே உங்கள் இறைவன் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.’”
