< Ezekiel 28 >
1 A message from the Lord came to me, saying,
Okwu Onyenwe anyị ruru m ntị, sị,
2 “Son of man, tell the ruler of Tyre this is what the Lord God says: You are so proud of yourself, saying, ‘I'm a god! I sit on my throne like a god in the middle of the sea.’ But you're only a man. You're not a god, even though you think you are one.
“Nwa nke mmadụ, gwa eze Taịa, ‘Ihe ndị a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị sịrị: “‘Nʼihi nganga nke juru gị obi, ị na-ekwu sị, “Mụ onwe m bụ chi, mụ onwe m na-anọkwasị nʼocheeze nke otu chi, nke dị nʼetiti oke osimiri niile.” Ma gị onwe gị bụ mmadụ efu, ị bụghị chi, ọ bụ ezie na ị na-eche na ị mara ihe dịka chi.
3 You even think you're wiser than Daniel and there's no secret that's hidden from you!
Ị maara ihe karịa Daniel? Ọ bụ na o nweghị ihe e zoro ezo nʼebe ị nọ?
4 Yes, you have used your wisdom and cleverness to make yourself rich, collecting plenty of gold and silver for your treasury.
I werela amamihe gị na nghọta gị nwetara onwe gị akụ, tụkọba ọlaedo na ọlaọcha, nʼime ụlọakụ gị dị iche iche.
5 You became wealthy through your superb trading skills, but your wealth only made you proud.
E, mmụta nʼịzụ ahịa gị emeela ka ị ghọọ ọgaranya, nʼihi akụnụba inwere ị bụrụla onye na-akpa nganga.
6 So this is what the Lord God says: Because you think that you're a god,
“‘Ya mere, nke a bụ ihe Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị na-ekwu; “‘ebe ọ bụ na ị gụrụ onwe gị dịka onye maara ihe onye maara ihe dịka chi,

Ha ga-eme ka ị rịdaruo nʼolulu nke ala mmụọ. Ị ga-anwụ ọnwụ ike nʼetiti oke osimiri niile.
9 Are you still going to claim, ‘I'm a god,’ to those who are killing you? You'll just be another human victim, not a god, in the eyes of your attackers.
Mgbe nke a mere, ị ga-asị, “Mụ onwe m bụ chi,” nʼihu ndị ahụ na-egbu gị? Ma gị onwe gị bụ mmadụ efu, ị bụghị chi, nʼaka ndị ahụ na-egbu gị.
10 You will be killed like some vile person by these foreigners. I myself have spoken, declares the Lord God.”
Ị ga-anwụ ọnwụ dịka ndị a na-ebighị ugwu, site nʼaka ndị ọbịa. Mụ onwe m ekwuola, otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.’”
11 Another message from the Lord came to me, saying,
Okwu nke Onyenwe anyị rutere m ntị, sị,
12 “Son of man, sing a funeral song for the king of Tyre and tell him this is what the Lord God says: Once you were complete and perfect, full of wisdom and flawless in beauty.
“Nwa nke mmadụ, bulie abụ akwa banyere eze Taịa ma gwa ya, ‘Ihe a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru, “‘Gị onwe gị bụ akara izuoke, ị jupụtara na amamihe na ịma mma.
13 You were there in Eden, God's garden. You wore all kinds of precious stones: carnelian, topaz, and amethyst; beryl, onyx, and jasper; lapis lazuli, turquoise, and emerald. They were placed in gold mountings and settings using skilled craftsmanship, and were made on the day when you were created.
Ị nọ nʼIden, nʼubi Chineke a gbara ogige. A rụnyere nkume ndị a niile nʼime ọlaedo. Ọ bụkwa nʼụbọchị ahụ e kere gị ka e doziri ha.
14 I gave you the position of guardian cherub, and I anointed you. You lived on God's holy mountain and you walked among the stones of fire.
Ahọpụtara m gị mee gị ka ị bụrụ cherub, ọrụ ahụ e doro gị iche ịrụ. Ọ bụ nʼugwu nsọ Chineke ka ị na-anọ, na-ejegharịkwa nʼetiti nkume ndị ahụ na-acha ọkụ.
15 You were innocent in everything you did from the day you were created until you were found to be doing evil.
Ị bụ onye na-enweghị ịta ụta nʼụzọ gị niile site nʼụbọchị e kere gị, tutu ruo mgbe a hụrụ ajọ omume nʼime gị.
16 You were so busy with all your trading schemes that they destroyed you inside, leading you to sin and filling you with violence. So I sent you away in disgrace from God's mountain, and I removed you from your position as guardian cherub from your place among the stones of fire.
Site nʼịba ụba nke ọzụzụ ahịa gị ị ghọrọ onye na-eme ihe ike, si otu a mehiekwa. Nʼihi ya, esi m nʼugwu Chineke chụpụ gị, nʼihi adịghị nsọ gị. Esitekwara m nʼetiti nkume ọkụ ndị ahụ chụpụ gị, gị cherub na-ekpuchi ekpuchi.
17 You became proud because of your beauty, you ruined your wisdom because you thought you were so wonderful. So I threw you down to the ground and I made sure kings saw what happened to you.
Obi gị jupụtara na nganga nʼihi ịma mma gị, i mere ka amamihe gị bụrụ ihe rụrụ arụ nʼihi ebube nke ịma mma gị. Nʼihi ya, achụdara m gị, tụọ gị nʼala, mee ka ị bụrụ ihe nlere anya nye ndị eze niile.
18 By all your sins and your dishonest trading you have made your sanctuaries unclean. So I had fire come from inside you, and it burned you up. I turned you into ashes on the ground as everybody there watched.

19 All who know you among the nations are horrified at what happened to you. Disaster has brought you down and you're finished forever.”
Ndị niile maara gị ka ihe ndị a juru anya, nʼihi na ị ghọọla ihe oke egwu. Ị laala nʼiyi ruo ebighị ebi.’”
20 A message from the Lord came to me, saying,

“Nwa nke mmadụ, chee ihu nʼebe Saịdọn dị buo amụma megide ya,

24 The people of Israel will no longer have to put up with these people who are thorns in their side, painful brambles and sharp thorns who treat Israel with contempt. Then they will know that I am the Lord God.

25 This is what the Lord God says: When I bring back the people of Israel from the nations where they've been scattered. I will show my holy character through them as everyone watches. Then they will live in their own country, which I gave to my servant Jacob.
“‘Ihe ndị a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Ndị Izrel ga-alọghachi biri nʼala nke aka ha ọzọ, ala nke m nyere nna ha Jekọb ohu m. Nʼihi na aga m esite na mba niile ha gbasasịrị chịkọtaa ha, si otu a gosi mba niile nke ụwa ịdị nsọ m.
