Ezekiel 25
1 A message from the Lord came to me, saying,
E veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
2 “Son of man, face towards the Ammonites and prophesy against them.
Filho do homem, dirige o teu rosto contra os filhos de Ammon, e profetiza contra eles.
3 Tell the Ammonites to listen to the message from the Lord God, for this is what the Lord God says: Because you said, ‘Oh good!’ when my sanctuary was made unclean, when the country of Israel was turned into a wasteland, and when the people of Judah were taken into exile,
E dize aos filhos de Ammon: Ouvi a palavra do Senhor Jehovah: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto tu disseste: há! há! acerca do meu santuário, quando foi profanado; e acerca da terra de Israel, quando foi assolada; e acerca da casa de Judá, quando foram no cativeiro;
4 this is why I will make you subject to the people of the East. They will make camp and set up their tents right where you live. They will eat your fruit and drink your milk.
Portanto, eis que te entregarei em possessão aos do oriente, e estabelecerão os seus paços em ti, e porão em ti as suas moradas; eles comerão os teus frutos, e eles beberão o teu leite
5 I will make Rabbah a camel pasture, and Ammon a sheep-pen. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
E farei de Rabba uma estrebaria de camelos, e dos filhos de Ammon um curral de ovelhas: e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.
6 For this is what the Lord God says: Because you clapped your hands and stamped your feet in a celebration of hate over what happened to Israel,
Porque assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto bateste com as mãos, e pateaste com os pés, e te alegraste de coração em todo o teu despojo sobre a terra de Israel,
7 this is why I will reach out and attack you, and hand you over to be looted by other nations. I will wipe you out so completely that you will no longer exist as a nation. I will destroy you, and then you will know that I am the Lord.
Portanto, eis que eu estenderei a minha mão contra ti, e te darei por despojo às nações, e te arrancarei dentre os povos, e te destruirei dentre as terras, e te acabarei de todo; e saberás que eu sou o Senhor.
8 This is what the Lord God says: Because the people of Moab and Seir said, ‘Look, the people of Judah are just like everybody else,’
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto dizem Moab e Seir: Eis que a casa de Judá é como todas as nações;
9 that's why I will open Moab's border to attack, including Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim, the country's famous cities.
Portanto, eis que eu abrirei o lado de Moab desde as cidades, desde as suas cidades fora das fronteiras, a glória da terra, Beth-jesimoth, Baal-meon, e até Kiriathaim.
10 I will hand Moab over to the people of the East for them to rule so that will no longer exist as a nation just like the Ammonites.
Para os do oriente, com a terra dos filhos de Ammon, a qual entregarei em possessão, para que não haja memória dos filhos de Ammon entre as nações.
11 This is how I'm going to punish the Moabites, and they will know that I am the Lord.
Também executarei juízos em Moab, e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
12 This is what the Lord God says: Because Edom committed serious sins by taking vicious revenge on the people of Judah,
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto Edom se houve vingativamente para com a casa de Judá, e se fizeram culpadíssimos, quando se vingaram deles;
13 this is why the Lord God says: I will reach out to attack Edom and destroy all its people and animals. I will turn it into a wasteland. All the way from Teman in the north to Dedan in the south they will die by the sword.
Portanto assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: também estenderei a minha mão contra Edom, e arrancarei dela homens e animais; e a tornarei em deserto desde Teman, e até Dedan cairão à espada.
14 I will take revenge on the Edomites through my people Israel. They will deal with the Edomites so that they experience my anger. Then they will know what my vengeance is like, declares the Lord God.
E exercitarei a minha vingança sobre Edom, pela mão do meu povo de Israel; e farão em Edom segundo a minha ira e segundo o meu furor; e conhecerão a minha vingança, diz o Senhor Jehovah.
15 This is what the Lord God says: Because the Philistines in their hatred repeatedly took revenge on Judah, trying to destroy the people,
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto os philisteus usaram de vingança, e executaram vingança de coração com despojo, para destruírem com perpétua inimizade,
16 this is why the Lord God says: Watch out! I'm going to reach out to attack the Philistines, and I will wipe out the Kerethites and destroy those who are left along the coast.
Portanto assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu estendo a minha mão contra os philisteus, e arrancarei os cheretheus, e destruirei o resto do porto do mar.
17 My revenge against them will be severe as I punish them in my anger. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when they experience my anger.”
E executarei neles grandes vinganças, com castigos de furor, e saberão que eu sou o Senhor, quando eu tiver exercido a minha vingança sobre eles.
