< Ezekiel 24 >

1 On the tenth day of the tenth month of the ninth year, a message from the Lord came to me, saying,
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me in the year ninth in the month tenth on the ten of the month saying.
2 “Son of man, write down today's date, because this is the day that the king of Babylon started his siege of Jerusalem.
O son of humankind (write *Q(k)*) yourself [the] name of the day [the] substance of the day this he has leaned [the] king of Babylon to Jerusalem on [the] substance of the day this.
3 Then repeat the following parable to these rebellious people. Tell them that this is what the Lord God says: Get a pot and set it on the fire. Pour in some water.
And speak a parable to [the] house of rebellion a parable and you will say to them thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh put on the pot put on and also pour in it water.
4 Fill it with some good cuts of meat from the thigh and the shoulder. Put in the best bones.
Gather pieces of meat its into it every piece of meat good thigh and shoulder [the] choicest of [the] bones fill [it].
5 Choose the best animal from the flock. Pile up the fuel underneath it. Get it boiling and cook the bones in it.
[the] choicest of The flock take and also pile up the bones under it make boil boiling its also they have cooked bones its in [the] midst of it.
6 So this is what the Lord God says: Disaster is coming to the city of that has shed so much blood! It is symbolized by the rusted pot, whose rust can't be cleaned off. Take out the meat bit by bit as it comes—don't choose which piece.
Therefore thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh woe! [the] city of blood a pot which rust its [is] in it and rust its not it has gone out from it to piece of meat its to piece of meat its take out it not it has fallen on it a lot.
7 For the blood she shed is still inside the city. She shed it openly on bare rock—she didn't even spill it on the ground and cover it up with dirt.
For blood its in [the] midst of it it was on bareness of rock it put it not it poured out it on the ground to cover over it dust.
8 In my anger and to punish, I have spilled her blood openly on bare rock, so it wouldn't be covered up.
To stir up rage to avenge vengeance I put blood its on bareness of rock to not to be covered.
9 So this is what the Lord God says: Disaster is coming to the city of that has shed so much blood. I will also pile up a large heap of firewood.
Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh woe! [the] city of blood also I I will make great the pile.
10 Put on plenty of wood and light the fire. Make sure the meat is well cooked and add spices. Burn the bones.
Increase the wood kindle the fire complete the meat and mix the seasoning and the bones let them be charred.
11 Then put the empty pot back on the burning coals until it's hot and the copper metal glows. This will melt the dirt inside it and get rid of the rust.
And set it on burning coals its empty so that it may grow warm and it will be hot bronze its and it will be melted in [the] midst of it uncleanness its it may be consumed rust its.
12 So far it's been impossible to clean it —even fire couldn't burn out all its rust.
Toil it has made weary and not it comes out from it [the] great [amount] of rust its in a fire rust its.
13 Because of your immorality you had made yourself unclean and I tried to clean you, but you refused to let me clean away your filth. So now you won't be pure again until I've finished being angry with you.
In uncleanness your licentiousness because I cleansed you and not you are clean from uncleanness your not you will be clean again until give rest to I rage my on you.
14 I, the Lord, have spoken. The time is soon coming when I will do what I say. I won't change my mind or show pity, I won't stop. I will judge you by your attitude and actions, declares the Lord God.”
I Yahweh I have spoken [it is] coming and I will act not I will refrain and not I will have compassion and not I will have pity according to ways your and according to practices your they have judged you [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
15 A message from the Lord came to me, saying,
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
16 “Son of man, look, I'm about to take away the one you love the most. She will die. But you must not mourn or weep. Don't cry any tears.
O son of humankind here I [am] about to take from you [the] desire of eyes your with a blow and not you must lament and not you must weep and not it will come tear[s] your.
17 Mourn in silence. Don't have any rituals for the dead. Dress normally—have your turban on and put your sandals on your feet. Don't veil your face and don't eat the bread used by mourners.”
Groaning - be silent dead [people] mourning not you must do turban your bind on you and sandals your you will put on feet your and not you must cover over a moustache and food of people not you must eat.
18 I talked to the people in the morning, and my wife died in the evening. The next morning I did as I'd been told.
And I spoke to the people in the morning and she died wife my in the evening and I did in the morning just as I had been commanded.
19 The people asked me, “What are you doing? Aren't you going to explain to us what this means?”
And they said to me the people ¿ not will you tell to us what? [are] these [things] for us that you [are] doing.
20 So I told them, “A message from the Lord came to me, saying:
And I said to them [the] word of Yahweh it came to me saying.
21 Tell the people of Israel that this is what the Lord God says: I am about to make my sanctuary unclean, this place you're so proud of that you think gives you power, the place you love so much, the place that makes you happy. Your sons and daughters that you left behind will be killed by the sword.
Say - to [the] house of Israel thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh here I [am] about to profane sanctuary my [the] pride of strength your [the] desire of eyes your and [the] love of being your and sons your and daughters your whom you have left by the sword they will fall.
22 Then you'll do what I did. You won't veil your face or eat the bread used by mourners.
And you will do just as I have done over a moustache not you must cover and food of people not you must eat.
23 You will keep your turbans on your heads and your sandals on your feet. You won't mourn or weep, but you will die inside because of your sins, and you will groan to one another.
And turbans your [will be] on heads your and sandals your [will be] on feet your not you must lament and not you must weep and you will waste away in iniquities your and you will groan each to brother his.
24 In this way Ezekiel will be a sign for you; you will do everything that he did. When this happens, then you will know that I am the Lord God.
And he will become Ezekiel for you a sign according to all that he has done you will do when comes it and you will know that I [am the] Lord Yahweh.
25 You, son of man, should know that when I destroy their fortress that is their pride and joy, the place they looked to for comfort and happiness —and their sons and daughters too—
And you O son of humankind ¿ not on [the] day take I from them stronghold their [the] joy of splendor their [the] desire of eyes their and [the] uplifting of being their sons their and daughters their.
26 when that happens someone who managed to get away will come and give you the news.
On the day that he will come the escapee to you for information of ears.
27 On that day you will be able to speak; you won't be mute any longer. This is how you will be a sign to them, and they will know that I am the Lord.”
On the day that it will be opened mouth your with the escapee so you may speak and not you will be dumb again and you will become for them a sign and they will know that I [am] Yahweh.
