Ezekiel 23
1 A message from the Lord came to me, saying,
૧યહોવાહનું વચન મારી પાસે આવ્યું અને કહ્યું,
2 “Son of man, there were once two women. They were daughters of the same mother.
૨હે મનુષ્યપુત્ર, બે સ્ત્રીઓ, એક જ માતાની દીકરીઓ હતી.
3 They became prostitutes in Egypt. In fact, they were prostitutes from the time they were young. They allowed their virgin breasts to be fondled and their nipples squeezed.
૩તેઓએ મિસરમાં પોતાની જુવાનીમાં વ્યભિચાર કર્યો. તેઓએ ત્યાં વ્યભિચાર કર્યો. ત્યાં તેઓના સ્તન દાબવામાં આવ્યા, અને ત્યાં તેઓની કુંવારી અવસ્થાની ડીટડીઓ છોલાઈ.
4 The older girl was called Oholah, and her sister Oholibah. I married them both and they had sons and daughters. Oholah represents Samaria, and Oholibah represents Jerusalem.
૪તેઓમાંની મોટી બહેનનું નામ ઓહોલાહ હતું અને નાની બહેનનું નામ ઓહોલીબાહ હતું. તેઓ બન્ને મારી થઈ અને તેઓને દીકરાઓ તથા દીકરીઓ થયાં. તેઓનાં નામોના અર્થ આ છે: ઓહોલાહનો અર્થ સમરુન અને ઓહોલીબાહનો અર્થ યરુશાલેમ છે.
5 Oholah prostituted herself while she was still married to me. She wanted to have sex with her lovers, the Assyrians.
૫“ઓહોલાહ મારી હતી, છતાં તેણે ગણિકાવૃત્તિ ચાલુ રાખી. તે પોતાના પ્રેમીઓ, એટલે આશ્શૂરના યોદ્ધાઓ ઉપર મોહી પડી હતી.
6 They were soldiers dressed in blue, leaders and commanders, all of them handsome young men in the cavalry.
૬તેઓ જાંબુડિયા રંગના વસ્ત્ર પહેરનારા રાજકર્તાઓ તથા અમલદારો હતા. જેઓ મજબૂત અને ખૂબસૂરત હતા, તેમાંના બધા ઘોડેસવારો હતા.
7 She gave away herself sexually to all the important men of Assyria. She made herself unclean by her worship of all the idols of those men she wanted to have sex with.
૭તેણે તેઓને એટલે આશ્શૂરના માણસોને પોતાની જાતને ગણિકા તરીકે સોંપી દીધી, જે સર્વ વડે તે વિલાસી થઈ હતી. તેઓ આશ્શૂરના સર્વોત્તમ દિલપસંદ પુરુષો હતા. તેણે તેઓની મૂર્તિઓ વડે પોતાને અશુદ્ધ કરી.
8 She didn't stop her prostitution that she started in Egypt—men sleeping with her when she was young, squeezing her virgin breasts and using her to satisfy their sexual appetite.
૮જ્યારે તે મિસરમાંથી નીકળી ત્યારે પણ તેણે પોતાની ગણિકાવૃતિ છોડી નહિ, જ્યારે તે નાની હતી ત્યારે માણસોએ તેની સાથે સૂઈને તેની કુંવારી અવસ્થાની ડીટડીઓ છોલી નાખી, તેઓએ તેની સાથે વ્યભિચાર કરવાનું ચાલુ રાખ્યું.
9 So I handed her over to her lovers, the Assyrians she wanted to have sex with.
૯તેથી મેં તેને તેના પ્રેમીઓના હાથમાં, એટલે આશ્શૂરીઓના માણસો જેના માટે તે વિલાસી હતી, તેઓના હાથમાં સોંપી દીધી.
10 They stripped her naked, took away her sons and daughters, and killed her with the sword. She became infamous among women, and they punished her.
૧૦તેઓએ તેની નિર્વસ્ત્રતા ઉઘાડી કરી. તેઓએ તેના દીકરાઓ તથા દીકરીઓ લઈ લીધાં, તેઓએ તેને તલવારથી મારી નાખી, તે બીજી સ્ત્રીઓમાં શરમરૂપ થઈ ગઈ, કેમ કે તેઓએ તેનો ન્યાય કરીને તેને શિક્ષા કરી.
11 Oholibah saw what happened to her sister, but she became even worse than her in her wanting sex and practicing prostitution.
૧૧તેની બહેન ઓહોલીબાહએ આ બધું જોયું, તેમ છતાં તે પોતાના વ્યભિચારમાં વધુ ભ્રષ્ટ થઈ અને પોતાની બહેન કરતાં વધુ ગણિકાવૃત્તિ કરી.
12 She also wanted to have sex with the Assyrians: their leaders and commanders, their splendidly-dressed soldiers—all of them handsome young men in the cavalry.
૧૨તે આશ્શૂરીઓ કે જેઓ રાજકર્તાઓ તથા અમલદારો હતા, જેઓ ભભકાદાર પોશાક પહેરનારા તથા ઘોડેસવારો હતા. તેમાંના બધા ખૂબસૂરત તથા મજબૂત હતા તેમના પર મોહિત થઈ.
13 I saw that she had also made herself unclean—both sisters were doing the same thing.
૧૩મેં જોયું કે તેણે પોતાની જાતને અશુદ્ધ કરી છે. તે બન્ને બહેનોનો એક જ માર્ગ હતો.
14 However, Oholibah's prostitution was even worse. She saw pictures of Babylonian soldiers wearing bright red uniforms painted on the wall.
૧૪તેણે પોતાની વ્યભિચારનું કામ વધારી. તેણે દીવાલ પર કોતરેલા માણસો, એટલે લાલ રંગથી કોતરેલી ખાલદીઓની પ્રતિમા જોઈ,
15 They were wearing belts on their waists and large turbans on their heads. They all looked like Babylonian officers in Chaldea, the country where they were born.
૧૫તેઓએ કમરે કમરબંધ બાંધેલા હતા અને માથે સુંદર સાફા બાંધેલા હતા. તેઓમાંના બધા દેખાવમાં રાજ્યઅમલદારો જેવા લાગતા હતા. તેઓની જન્મભૂમિ ખાલદી દેશ છે, તે બાબિલના વતની જેવા લાગતા હતા.
16 When she saw the paintings of them, she wanted to have sex with them and sent messengers to them in Chaldea.
૧૬તેણે જેમ તેઓને જોયા કે તરત જ તેઓની આશક થઈ, તેથી તેણે તેઓની પાસે ખાલદી દેશમાં સંદેશાવાહકો મોકલ્યા.
17 The Babylonians came to her and her love bed, and made her unclean with their sexual desire. However, after she had been dishonored by them, she rejected them in disgust.
૧૭ત્યારે બાબિલવાસીઓ આવ્યા અને તે સ્ત્રીને લઈને પથારીમાં સૂઈ ગયા, તેઓએ તેની સાથે વ્યભિચાર કરીને તેને ભ્રષ્ટ કરી, પછી તેનું મન તેઓના પરથી ઊઠી ગયું.
18 When Oholibah so blatantly prostituted herself, exposing herself naked, I turned away from her in disgust, just as I had done to her sister.
૧૮તેણે ખુલ્લી રીતે વ્યભિચાર કર્યો અને પોતાને ઉઘાડી કરી, જેમ મારું મન તેની બહેન પરથી પણ ઊઠી ગયું હતું, તેમ મારું મન તેના પરથી ઊઠી ગયું.
19 But she practiced even more prostitution, remembering how she'd been a prostitute in Egypt when she was young.
૧૯પછી તેણે મિસર દેશમાં પોતાની જુવાનીમાં વ્યભિચાર કર્યો હતો, તે દિવસો યાદ કરીને તેણે પુષ્કળ વ્યભિચાર કર્યો.
20 She wanted to have sex with her lovers who had genitals like donkeys and who ejaculated like stallions.
૨૦તે પોતાના પ્રેમીઓ માટે પ્રેમીકા હતી, જેઓની ઈંદ્રિયો ગધેડાની ઈંદ્રિયો જેવી હતી અને જેઓનું બીજ ઘોડાના બીજ જેવું હતું.
21 You went back to the indecent acts when you were young, when the Egyptians squeezed your nipples and fondled your young breasts.
૨૧જ્યારે મિસરવાસીઓથી તેની ડીટડીઓ છોલાઈ ત્યારે તેણે પોતાની જુવાનીનાં લંપટતાના કાર્યો યાદ કરીને ફરીથી શરમજનક કાર્ય કર્યું.
22 So Oholibah, this is what the Lord God says: I'm going to encourage your lovers to attack you, those you rejected in disgust. I will bring them to attack you from every direction:
૨૨માટે, ઓહોલીબાહ, પ્રભુ યહોવાહ આમ કહે છે: ‘જો, હું તારા પ્રેમીઓને તારી વિરુદ્ધ કરીશ. જેઓના પરથી તારું મન ઊઠી ગયું છે, તેઓને હું ચારેબાજુથી તારી વિરુદ્ધ લાવીશ.
23 the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, the men of Pekod, Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians along with them—all handsome young men, leaders and commanders, chariot captains and important officers, all riding horses.
૨૩એટલે હું બધા બાબિલવાસીઓને તથા બધા ખાલદીવાસીઓને પેકોદને, શોઆને તથા કોઆને તેમ જ બધા આશ્શૂરવાસીઓને, બધા ખૂબસૂરત જુવાનોને, રાજકર્તાઓને તથા અધિકારીઓને, ઘોડેસવારોને તથા મંત્રીઓને ભેગા કરીશ.
24 They will attack you from the north, invading with a great army, chariots, and wagons. They will come with their shields and helmets and surround you. I will hand you over to them for punishment, and they will judge and punish you following their own laws.
૨૪તેઓ તારી વિરુદ્ધ હથિયારો, રથો તથા ગાડાઓ, અને લોકોનાં મોટાં ટોળાં સહિત આવશે. તેઓ મોટી ઢાલો, નાની ઢાલો તથા ટોપો પહેરીને તારી સામે આવીને તને ચારેબાજુથી ઘેરી લેશે. હું તેઓને તને શિક્ષા કરવાની તક આપીશ અને તેઓ પોતાનાં કાર્યોથી તને શિક્ષા કરશે.
25 I feel so strongly about what you've done that I will oppose you, and they will treat you very badly. They will cut off your noses and ears, and they will kill those of you who are left. They will take away your sons and daughters as prisoners, and those of you who are left will be destroyed by fire.
૨૫કેમ કે હું તારા પર મારો કોપ રેડી દઈશ, તેઓ રોષથી તારી સાથે વર્તશે, તેઓ તારા નાક તથા કાન કાપી નાખશે, તારા બચેલા તલવારથી નાશ પામશે! તેઓ તારા દીકરા દીકરીઓને લઈ લેશે, જેથી તારા વંશજો અગ્નિથી ભસ્મ થઈ જશે.
26 They will tear off your clothes and take your beautiful jewelry.
૨૬તેઓ તારાં વસ્ત્રો ઉતારી લેશે અને તારાં આભૂષણો તારી પાસેથી લઈ લેશે!
27 I'm going to put a stop to your immorality and prostitution, which started in Egypt. You won't think longingly about those times, and you'll forget all about Egypt.
૨૭હું તારામાંથી તારા શરમજનક કાર્યોનો અને મિસર દેશમાં કરેલાં વ્યભિચારનો અંત લાવીશ. જેથી તું તારી નજર તેઓના તરફ ઉઠાવશે નહિ અને મિસરને સ્મરણમાં લાવશે નહિ.’”
28 For this is what the Lord God says: Believe it when I say that I'm going to hand you over to the people you hate, the ones you rejected in disgust.
૨૮કેમ કે પ્રભુ યહોવાહ કહે છે: ‘જો, જે લોકોને તું ધિક્કારે છે અને જેઓના પરથી તારું મન ઊઠી ગયું છે તેઓના હાથમાં હું તને સોંપી દઈશ.
29 They will treat you with hatred. They will take away everything you've worked for, leaving you stark naked with nothing, so that so that the indecent acts of your prostitution will be exposed. Your immorality and prostitution
૨૯તેઓ તને ધિક્કારશે; તેઓ તારી બધી સંપત્તિ લઈ લેશે અને તને ઉઘાડી કરી મૂકશે. તારા વ્યભિચારની ભ્રષ્ટતા એટલે તારાં શરમજનક કાર્યો તથા તારો વ્યભિચાર ઉઘાડાં થશે.
30 is why all this has happened to you, because you acted as a prostitute with the nations and made yourself unclean by worshiping their idols.
૩૦તેં ગણિકા જેવું કાર્ય કર્યું છે, પ્રજાઓની પાછળ જઈને તેમની પ્રેમીકા થઈ છે અને તેઓની મૂર્તિઓથી તેં પોતાને અપવિત્ર કરી છે, માટે આ સર્વ દુઃખો તારા પર લાવવામાં આવશે.
31 Because you did what your sister did, I will give you her cup to drink.
૩૧તું તારી બહેનને પગલે ચાલી છે, તેથી હું તેની શિક્ષાનો પ્યાલો તારા હાથમાં આપીશ.’
32 This is what the Lord God says: You will drink from your sister's cup—a large, deep cup. You will be laughed at and insulted. You'll have to endure much of this.
૩૨પ્રભુ યહોવાહ આમ કહે છે: ‘તું તારી બહેનનો પ્યાલો પીશે, તે ઊંડો અને મોટો છે; તું હાંસીપાત્ર થશે અને તું મજાકનો વિષય બનશે તે પ્યાલામાં ઘણું સમાય છે.
33 It will make you drunk and full of grief because it's a cup of that brings horror and destruction, the cup your sister Samaria drank from.
૩૩તું ભયાનક તથા વિનાશના પ્યાલાથી, એટલે નશાથી તથા ચિંતાથી ભરાઈ જશે. આ તારી બહેન સમરુનનો પ્યાલો છે!
34 You will drink it all down, smash it to pieces on the ground, and tear at your breasts. This is what I have spoken, declares the Lord God.
૩૪તું પીશે અને તેને ખાલી કરી નાખશે; પછી તું તેને ભાંગી નાખશે અને તારાં સ્તનને કાપીને ટુકડા કરી નાખશે.
35 In summary this is what the Lord God says: Because you have forgotten about me and have ignored me, you will have to experience the consequences of your immorality and prostitution.”
૩૫માટે, પ્રભુ યહોવાહ આમ કહે છે: ‘કેમ કે તું મને ભૂલી ગઈ છે અને મને તારી પીઠ પાછળ ફેંકી દીધો છે, તેથી તું તારી લંપટતા અને વ્યભિચારની બોજ ઉઠાવશે.”
36 Then the Lord said to me: “Son of man, are you going to condemn Oholah and Oholibah? Expose the disgusting things they've done!
૩૬યહોવાહે મને કહ્યું, “હે મનુષ્યપુત્ર, શું તું ઓહોલાહ અને ઓહોલીબાહનો ન્યાય કરશે? તો તેઓએ જે ધિક્કારપાત્ર કૃત્યો કર્યાં છે તે તેઓને જણાવ.
37 For they have committed adultery, and they are guilty of murder. They have committed adultery with their idols, and have even offered their children, whom they had for me, as sacrifices to their idols.
૩૭તેઓએ વ્યભિચાર કર્યો છે, તેઓના હાથમાં લોહી છે. તેઓએ મૂર્તિઓ સાથે વ્યભિચાર કર્યો છે, તેઓએ મારાથી તેઓને થયેલા દીકરાઓને અગ્નિમાં ભસ્મ થવા સારુ સોંપ્યા છે.
38 They also did this to me: On the very same day they both made my sanctuary unclean and violated my Sabbaths.
૩૮વળી તેઓએ સતત મારી સાથે આ કર્યું છે; તેઓએ મારા પવિત્રસ્થાનને અપવિત્ર કર્યું છે, તે જ દિવસે તેઓએ મારા વિશ્રામવારોને અશુદ્ધ કર્યા છે.
39 On very day that they killed their children for their idols, they went my sanctuary and made it unclean. Look at what they did right inside my Temple!
૩૯કેમ કે તેઓએ પોતાનાં બાળકો મૂર્તિઓને ચઢાવ્યાં પછી તે જ દિવસે તેઓ મારા સભાસ્થાનને અશુદ્ધ કરવા આવ્યા જુઓ, તેઓએ મારા સભાસ્થાનની વચ્ચે જે કર્યું છે તે આ છે.
40 They even kept on sending messengers for men to come from far away. When the men arrived, you would get yourselves ready for them by bathing, doing your eye makeup, and putting in your jewelry.
૪૦વળી તમે સંદેશાવાહકો મોકલીને દૂર દૂરથી માણસોને બોલાવ્યા હવે જુઓ! તેઓ આવ્યા, તેઓને માટે તેં સ્નાન કર્યું, આંખોમાં કાજળ લગાવ્યું અને ઘરેણાંથી પોતાને સુશોભિત કરી.
41 You sat on an expensive couch, with my incense and my oil on a table placed in front of it.
૪૧અને તું સુંદર ભભકાદાર પલંગ પર બેઠી અને તેની આગળ મેજ બિછાવી. પછી તેં તેના પર ધૂપ તથા મારુ તેલ મૂક્યું.
42 The room was full of the noise of people partying. Drunk men were brought in from the desert along with some common people and they put bracelets on your wrists and beautiful crowns on your head.
૪૨તમારા ઓરડામાંથી મોટી ઉજાણીના અવાજો સંભળાતા હતા. અને અરણ્યમાંથી નશાથી ચૂર લોકોને લાવવામાં આવ્યા હતા. તેઓએ તેમના બંનેના હાથોમાં બંગડીઓ પહેરાવી હતી અને તેઓના માથે સુંદર મુગટો પહેરાવ્યા હતા.
43 Then I said about the old worn-out woman, ‘Now they can have her as a prostitute because that's what she is!’
૪૩ત્યારે જે વ્યભિચાર કરીને વૃદ્ધ થઈ ગઈ હતી તેને વિષે મેં વિચાર કર્યો, ‘હવે તેઓ તેની સાથે વ્યભિચાર કરશે, હા તેઓ તેની સાથે વ્યભિચાર કરશે.’
44 So they had sex with her like a prostitute. They had sex with Oholah and Oholibah, those immoral women.
૪૪જેમ લોકો વેશ્યા પાસે જાય છે તેમ તેઓ તેની પાસે ગયા, આ રીતે તેઓએ તે ગણિકા સ્ત્રીઓ ઓહોલાહ તથા ઓહોલીબાહ પાસે જવાનું ચાલું રાખ્યું.
45 But men who believe in what's right will judge them and impose the punishment for committing commit adultery and murder, because they are adulterers and murderers.
૪૫પણ ન્યાયી માણસો તો તેમને વ્યભિચારી તથા ખૂની સ્ત્રીઓની સજા કરશે, કેમ કે, તેઓએ વ્યભિચાર કર્યો છે અને તેમના હાથમાં લોહી છે.”
46 This is what the Lord God says: Have a mob attack them! Make them terrified and rob them.
૪૬પ્રભુ યહોવાહ આમ કહે છે: “હું તેઓના ઉપર ચઢાઈ કરવા એક સૈન્ય મોકલીશ, તેઓને લૂંટવા તથા ત્રાસરૂપ થવા સોંપી દઈશ.
47 The mob will stone them and kill them with their swords, slaughtering their sons and daughters and burning down their houses.
૪૭તે સૈન્ય તેઓને પથ્થરથી મારશે અને તલવારોથી તેમને કાપી નાખશે. તેઓ તેઓના દીકરા તથા દીકરીઓને મારી નાખશે અને તેઓના ઘરોને બાળી મૂકશે.
48 This is how I will put an end to immorality in the country, and all the women will be warned not to do what you have done.
૪૮હું દેશમાંથી શરમજનક કાર્યોનો અંત લાવીશ. જેથી બધી સ્ત્રીઓ શિસ્તમાં રહે અને તેઓ ગણિકાનું કાર્ય કરે નહિ.
49 They will punish you for your immorality, and you will have to experience the consequences of your idol worship. Then you will know that I am the Lord God.”
૪૯તેઓ તમારાં શરમજનક કાર્યોનો બદલો તમને આપશે. તમારે મૂર્તિપૂજાના પાપનાં ફળ ભોગવવા પડશે. ત્યારે તમે જાણશો કે હું પ્રભુ યહોવાહ છું.”
