Ezekiel 2
1 “Stand up, son of man, because I want to talk to you,” he said to me.
Und Er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, stehe auf deine Füße, und Ich will mit dir reden:
2 As he spoke to me, the Spirit entered me and had me stand up. I listened to him speaking to me.
Und es kam ein Geist in mich, wie Er zu mir redete, und ließ mich auf meine Füße stehen, und ich hörte Den, Der zu mir redete.
3 “Son of man,” he told me, “I'm sending you to the people of Israel, a disobedient nation that has rebelled against me. They and their forefathers have continued to rebel against me, even up to today.
Und Er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, Ich sende dich zu den Söhnen Israels, zu einer empörerischen Völkerschaft, die sich wider Mich empörte; sie und ihre Väter sind von Mir abgefallen bis auf diesen selbigen Tag.
4 They are pig-headed; they are hard-hearted children. I am sending you to tell them that this is what the Lord God says.
Und die Söhne sind harten Angesichts und bestärkten Herzens; zu ihnen sende Ich dich, und zu denselben sollst du sprechen: Also spricht der Herr Jehovah.
5 Whether they listen or not—for they are a rebellious people—they will realize that a prophet has come to them.
Und sie, ob sie darauf hören oder es unterlassen, denn sie sind ein widerspenstig Haus, aber sie sollen wissen, daß ein Prophet in ihrer Mitte ist.
6 Son of man, don't be afraid of them or what they say. You don't need to be afraid even though you're surrounded by brambles and thorns, even though you live among scorpions. Don't be afraid of what they say or be discouraged by the way they look at you, even though they are a rebellious family.
Du aber, Menschensohn, sollst dich nicht fürchten vor ihnen, und vor ihren Worten sollst du dich nicht fürchten; zwar sind sie Aufwiegler und Dornen bei dir, und bei Skorpionen wohnst du. Vor ihren Worten sollst du dich nicht fürchten, und vor ihrem Angesicht nicht entsetzen, obwohl sie sind ein widerspenstig Haus.
7 Just tell them what I say, whether they listen or not, because they're rebels.
Und Meine Worte sollst du zu ihnen reden, ob sie darauf hören oder es unterlassen; denn widerspenstig sind sie.
8 As for you, son of man, pay attention to what I tell you. Don't be rebellious like those rebellious people. Open your mouth and eat what I'm about to give you.”
Du aber, Menschensohn, höre, was Ich zu dir rede. Sei du nicht widerspenstig, wie das widerspenstige Haus, sperre deinen Mund auf und iß, was Ich dir gebe.
9 I looked up and saw a hand stretched out to me holding a scroll.
Und ich sah, und siehe, eine Hand war gegen mich ausgestreckt, und siehe, die Rolle eines Buches war darin.
10 He spread it out in front of me, and there written on both the front and back were words of grief, mourning, and tragedy.
Und Er breitete sie vor mir aus, und sie war inwendig und auf der Rückseite geschrieben, und geschrieben waren darauf Klagelieder, Seufzer und Weh.
