< Ezekiel 11 >

1 Then the Spirit picked me up and took me to the eastern entrance of the Lord's Temple. Twenty-five men were gathered there at the entrance. I recognized among them Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.
Nonjone’ i Tiokey iraho vaho nente’e niakatse mb’ an-dalambey atiñana’ i anjomba’ Iehovày miatreke maniñanañe; le ingo am-pimoahañe i lalambeiy t’indaty roapolo-lim’ amby; tama’e ao Iaazanià ana’ i Azore naho i Pelatià ana’ i Benaià, roandria’ ondatio.
2 The Lord told me, “Son of man, it's these men who are making evil plans and giving bad advice to the people in this city.
Le hoe re amako, O ana’ ondatio, iretoañe o mpikitro-draha raty naho mpanoro heve-kaloloañe ami’ty rova toio,
3 They're saying, ‘Is this the time for us to be building houses? The city is the cooking pot, and we are the meat inside it.’
ie manao ty hoe: Tsy marine antika ze o fandranjiañe anjomba zao; etoañe i valàñey, itika ro hena’e.
4 So prophesy against them. Prophesy, son of man!”
Aa le itokio, mitokia ry ana’ondatio.
5 The Spirit of the Lord came upon me and told me to say: This is what the Lord says: “People of Israel, that's what you're saying! I know what you're thinking inside!
Nivotrak’amako amy zao i Arofo’ Iehovày nanao ty hoe, Isaontsio ty hoe: Hoe t’Iehovà, Fa nanoa’ areo ty hoe ry anjomba’ Israele, amy te apotako o raha mizilik’ am-pitsakorea’ areoo.
6 You murder more and more people in this city. You've filled its streets with the dead!
Fa nampitomboe’ areo ty zinamañe an-drova atoy, vaho nitsitsife’ areo lolo o lalañeo.
7 So this is what the Lord God says: Those you've killed in this city are the meat, and the city is the pot; but I'm going to take you out of it.
Aa le hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà Talè; O zinamañe nirohote’ areo an-damoko, ie ty nofo’e, le i rovay ty valàñe fe hakareko boak’ao nahareo.
8 You're afraid of being killed by the sword, so I will bring invaders with swords to attack you, declares the Lord God.
Irevendreveña’ areo i fibaray, aa le ty fibara ty hampombàko mb’ama’ areo, hoe t’Iehovà Talè.
9 I'm going to take you out of the city and hand you over to foreigners, and I'm going to carry out my sentence against you.
Ie hakareko boak’ao le haseseko am-pitàn-ambahiny naho hampijadoñeko zaka.
10 You will be killed by the sword, and I will punish you right up to the borders of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
Hampikorovohe’ ty fibara, ho zakaeko añ’ olo’ Israele añe, hahafohina’ areo te Izaho Iehovà.
11 The city won't be like a pot for you, and you won't be the meat inside it either. I will punish you right up to the borders of Israel.
Tsy ho valàñe’ areo ty rova toy, vaho tsy inahareo ty ho nofo’e am-po’e ao, fa tsy mete tsy zakaeko añ’ olon-tane’ Israele añe,
12 Then you will know that I am the Lord. For you didn't follow my rules and you didn't keep my laws. Instead you kept the laws of the nations around you.”
vaho hapota’ areo te Izaho Iehovà; ie tsy nañavelo amo fañèkoo, naho tsy nañorike o zakakoo, fa o fepèm-pifeheañe mañohokeo ty orihe’ areo.
13 While I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. I fell facedown on the ground and shouted loudly, “Lord God, are you going to completely destroy what's left of the people of Israel?”
Ie nitoky iraho le nihomake t’i Pelatià ana’ i Benaià. Aa le nitoke an-tareheko, nipazake ty hoe: Hete! ry Iehovà Talè! hagadoñe hao ty sehanga’Israele?
14 A message from Lord came to me, saying,
Le niheo amako ty tsara’ Iehovà nanao ty hoe,
15 “Son of man, your brothers, including your relatives, your fellow exiles, and all the other Israelites, are those the people of Jerusalem were referring to when they said, ‘They are far away from the Lord. This country was given to us and we are to own it.’
O ana’ ondatio, toe o longo’oo, eka o roahalahi’oo, o lahilahim-pifokoa’oo, vaho ze hene anjomba’ Israele, ro nanoa’ o mpimone’ Ierosalaimeo ty hoe, Ihankaño t’Iehovà; fa natolots’ anay ty tane toy ho fanaña’ay.
16 So tell them that this is what the Lord God says: Even though I sent them far away to live among the foreign nations, scattering them among the different countries, I have been taking care of them for a while in the countries where they went.
Aa le ano ty hoe: Hoe ty nafè’ Iehovà Talè, Ndra te nahifiko tsietoitane añe iereo, añivo’ o kilakila ondatio ao, naho naparaitako amo fifeheañeo, mbe ho fitsoloha’ iareo kede an-tane homba’ iereo iraho.
17 Tell them that this is what the Lord God says: I'm going to gather you from the other nations and bring you back from the countries where you've been scattered, and I will return the country of Israel to you.
Aa le ano ty hoe, Hoe t’Iehovà Talè, hatontoko am’ondatio nahareo, naho havoriko boak’ amo fifeheañe nampiparaitsahañe anahareoo, vaho hitolorako ty tane’ Israele.
18 When they come back, they are going to get rid of all its offensive idols and disgusting practices from the country.
Le homb’eo iereo, fonga hañondroke o haleora’eo naho o hativa’e ama’eo.
19 I will give them single-minded commitment and a whole new spirit. I will take away their hard-hearted attitude and replace it with one that is loving.
Le ho tolorako arofo raike naho haziliko ama’ areo ty arofo vao; naho hakareko amo nofo’ iareoo ty troke gañe vaho ho tolorako arofo nofotse;
20 This way they can follow my rules, keep my regulations, and do what I say. They will be my people, and I will be their God.
hañaveloa’ iareo amo fañèkoo naho hambena’ iareo o fepèkoo, hañeneke irezay; le h’ondatiko iereo vaho ho Andrianañahare’ iareo iraho.
21 But for those who still choose to worship offensive idols and engage in disgusting practices, I will let them experience the consequences of their own actions, declares the Lord God.”
Fe ty amo mpañorike ty fisalalan’ arofo’e mpilelalela o haleora’eo naho o hativa’eoo, le hondroheko an-doha’ iareo ty sata’iareo, hoe t’Iehovà Talè.
22 Then the cherubim opened their wings and took off, with the wheels alongside them, and with the glory of the God of Israel above them.
Ie amy zao, nonjone’ i kerobe rey o ela’eo naho o larò mpirekets’ ama’eo; vaho ambone’ iareo eo ty engen’ Andrianañahare’ Israele,
23 The glory of the Lord rose from inside the city and went over to the mountain to the east of the city.
le nionjoñe boak’ añivo’ i rovay ty enge’ Iehovà, nijohañe ankaboa’ i vohitse atiñana’ i rovay eñey.
24 In the vision given to me by the Spirit of God, the Spirit picked me up and carried me back to Babylonia to where the exiles were. After the vision left me,
Modo izay le nongahe’ i Tiokey iraho vaho nendeseñ’ añ’ aroñaroñe amy Tion’ Añaharey mb’an-tane o nte-Kasdio mb’amo mpirohio mb’eo. Aa le niakatse amako nañambone mb’eo i aroñaroñe nitreakoy.
25 I explained to the exiles everything the Lord had shown me.
Ie amy zay nataliliko amo mpirohio iaby o tsara naboa’ Iehovà amakoo.
