Exodus 6
1 But the Lord told Moses, “Now you'll see what I'm going to do to Pharaoh. Using my great strength I will force him to let them go; because of my power he will send them out from his country.”
Und Jehovah sprach zu Mose: Nun sollst du sehen, was Ich dem Pharao tun werde. Denn durch starke Hand soll er sie entlassen, und durch starke Hand sie aus seinem Lande forttreiben.
2 God spoke to Moses and told him, “I am Yahweh!
Und Gott redet zu Mose und sprach zu ihm: Ich bin Jehovah.
3 I revealed myself as God Almighty to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, but they didn't know my name, ‘Yahweh.’
Und bin Abraham, Isaak und Jakob als Gott Schaddai erschienen, aber bei Meinem Namen Jehovah wurde Ich ihnen nicht bekannt.
4 I also confirmed my solemn agreement with them to give them the land of Canaan, the country where they were living as foreigners.
Und habe auch Meinen Bund mit ihnen aufgerichtet, ihnen das Land Kanaan zu geben, das Land ihrer Wanderungen, in dem sie Fremdlinge waren.
5 In addition I've heard the groans of the Israelites that the Egyptians are treating as slaves, and I haven't forgotten the agreement I promised them.
Und Ich habe das Stöhnen der Söhne Israels gehört, welche die Ägypter knechten, und gedenke Meines Bundes.
6 So tell the Israelites, ‘I am the Lord and I will save you from the forced labor the Egyptians are making you do; I will set you free from being their slaves. I will rescue you using my power and imposing heavy punishments.
Darum sprich zu den Söhnen Israels: Ich bin Jehovah, und Ich bringe euch von den Lasten der Ägypter heraus und errette euch aus ihrer Knechtschaft, mit ausgestrecktem Arm und mit großen Gerichten will Ich euch erlösen.
7 I will make you my own people. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from slavery in Egypt.
Und Ich nehme euch Mir zum Volk und werde euch Gott sein, und ihr sollt wissen, daß Ich Jehovah, euer Gott bin, Der euch von den Lasten Ägyptens herausgebracht,
8 I will take you to the land that I solemnly promised to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will give it to you to own. I am the Lord!’”
Und bringe euch zu dem Land, das Ich dem Abraham, Isaak und Jakob zu geben Meine Hand aufhob, und euch nun zum erblichen Besitztum gebe; Ich bin Jehovah.
9 Moses explained this to the Israelites but they did not listen to him, because they were so discouraged and because of the hard labor they were forced to do.
Und Mose redete so mit den Söhnen Israels; aber sie hörten vor Ungeduld des Geistes und harter Knechtschaft nicht auf Mose.
10 Then the Lord said to Moses,
Und Jehovah redete mit Mose und sprach:
11 “Go and speak to Pharaoh, king of Egypt. Tell him to let the Israelites leave his country.”
Gehe hinein, rede zu Pharao, dem Könige Ägyptens, und er soll die Söhne Israels aus seinem Land entlassen.
12 But Moses replied, “Even my own people don't listen to me. Why would Pharaoh listen to me, especially since I'm such a poor speaker?”
Und Mose redete vor Jehovah und sprach: Siehe, die Söhne Israels hörten nicht auf mich; und wie sollte Pharao auf mich hören? und ich bin unbeschnitten an Lippen.
13 But the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, and told them what to do regarding the people of Israel and Pharaoh, king of Egypt, in order to bring the Israelites out of Egypt.
Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und zu Aharon und gebot ihnen an die Söhne Israels und an Pharao, den König von Ägypten, die Söhne Israels aus Ägyptenland herauszubringen.
14 These were the Israelite family heads. The sons of Reuben, the firstborn son of Israel, were Hanok and Pallu, Hezron and Karmi. These were the families of Reuben.
Das sind die Häupter des Hauses ihrer Väter: Die Söhne Rubens, des Erstgeborenen Israels: Chanoch und Pallu, Chezron und Karmi. Das sind die Familien Rubens.
15 The sons of Simeon were Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul, (the son of a Canaanite woman). These were the families of Simeon.
Und die Söhne Simeons: Jemuel und Jamin und Ohad und Jachin und Zochar und Schaul, der Sohn der Kanaaniterin. Dies die Familien Simeons.
16 These were the names of the sons of Levi according to their genealogical records: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. Levi lived for 137 years.
Und das sind die Namen der Söhne Levis nach ihren Geschlechtern: Gerschon und Kohath und Merari, und die Jahre des Lebens Levis waren hundertsiebenunddreißig Jahre.
17 The sons of Gershon, by families, were Libni and Shimei.
Die Söhne Gerschons sind Libni und Schimei nach ihren Familien.
18 The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. Kohath lived for 133 years.
Und die Söhne Kohaths: Amram und Jizhar und Chebron und Ussiel, und die Jahre des Lebens Kohaths sind hundertdreiunddreißig Jahre.
19 The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. These were the families of the Levites according to their genealogical records.
Und die Söhne Meraris sind Machli und Muschi. Dies die Familien Levis nach ihren Geschlechtern.
20 Amram married his father's sister Jochebed, and she had their sons Aaron and Moses. Amram lived for 137 years.
Und Amram nahm sich seine Muhme Jochebed zum Weibe, und sie gebar ihm Aharon und Mose; und die Jahre des Lebens Amrams waren hundertsiebenunddreißig Jahre.
21 The sons of Izhar were Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri.
Und die Söhne Jizhars waren Korach und Nepheg und Sichri.
22 The sons of Uzziel were Mishael, Elzaphan, and Sithri.
Und die Söhne Ussiels: Mischael und Elzaphan und Sithri.
23 Aaron married Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab and sister of Nahshon. She had their sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
Und Aharon nahm Elischeba, Tochter Aminadabs, Schwester des Nachasson, sich zum Weibe und sie gebar ihm Nadab und Abihu, Eleasar und Ithamar.
24 The sons of Korah were Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph. These were the Korahite families.
Und die Söhne Korachs: Assir und Elkanah und Abiasaph. Das sind die Familien der Korachiten.
25 Eleazar, son of Aaron, married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she had their son Phinehas. These are the ancestors of the Levite families, listed according to their clans. Eleazar son of Aaron married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she gave birth to his son, Phinehas. These are the heads of the Levite families, listed by family.
Und Eleasar, Sohn Aharons, nahm sich eine von Putiels Töchtern zum Weibe, und sie gebar ihm Pinechas. Dies sind die Häupter der Väter der Leviten nach ihren Familien.
26 Aaron and Moses mentioned here are the ones the Lord told, “Lead the Israelites out of Egypt, divided up in their respective tribes.”
Das ist Aharon und Mose, zu denen Jehovah sprach: Bringet Israels Söhne heraus aus dem Lande Ägypten nach ihren Heerscharen.
27 Moses and Aaron were also the ones who went to speak with Pharaoh, king of Egypt, about the Israelites leaving Egypt.
Sie sind es, die zu Pharao, dem Könige von Ägypten, redeten, daß sie möchten die Söhne Israels aus Ägypten herausbringen, das ist Moses und Aharon.
28 When the Lord spoke to Moses in Egypt,
Und es geschah an dem Tage, da Jehovah zu Mose redete im Lande Ägypten,
29 he said to him, “I am the Lord. Tell Pharaoh, king of Egypt, all that I tell you.”
Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach: Ich bin Jehovah! Rede zu Pharao, Ägyptens König, alles, was Ich zu dir rede.
30 But Moses replied, “I'm not a good speaker—why would Pharaoh listen to me?”
Und Mose sprach vor Jehovah: Siehe, ich bin unbeschnitten an Lippen, und wie wird Pharao auf mich hören?
