< Exodus 39 >

1 They made woven clothing from blue, purple, and crimson thread for serving in the sanctuary. They also made holy clothing garments for Aaron, as the Lord had ordered Moses to do.
And from the violet stuff and the purple and [the] scarlet stuff of the scarlet they made garments of woven material to serve in the holy place and they made [the] garments of the holiness which [belong] to Aaron just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
2 They made the ephod of finely-woven linen embroidered with gold, and with blue, purple, and crimson thread.
And he made the ephod gold violet stuff and purple and scarlet stuff of scarlet and fine linen twisted.
3 They hammered out thin sheets of gold and cut threads from them to weave in with the blue, purple, and scarlet thread, together with fine linen, all skillfully worked.
And they hammered out [the] thin plates of gold and he cut [them] up threads to work in among the violet stuff and in among the purple and in among [the] scarlet stuff of the scarlet and in among the fine linen [the] work of a skillful worker.
4 Two shoulder pieces were attached to the front and back pieces.
Shoulder-pieces they made for it joined on [the] two (ends its *Q(K)*) it was joined.
5 The waistband of the ephod was one piece made in the same way, using gold thread, with blue, purple, and crimson thread, and with finely-woven linen, as the Lord had ordered Moses to do.
And [the] girdle of ephod its which [was] on it [was] from it it [will be] like workmanship its gold violet stuff and purple and scarlet stuff of scarlet and fine linen twisted just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
6 They placed the onyx stones in ornamental gold settings, engraved with the names of the Israelite tribes in the same way a jeweler engraves a personal seal.
And they prepared [the] stones of the onyx surrounded filigree settings of gold engraved [the] engravings of a seal on [the] names of [the] sons of Israel.
7 They attached both stones to the shoulder pieces of the ephod as reminders for the Israelite tribes, as the Lord had ordered Moses to do.
And he put them on [the] shoulder-pieces of the ephod stones of remembrance for [the] sons of Israel just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
8 They also made a breastpiece for decisions in the same skilful way as the ephod, to be used in determining the Lord's will. They made it using gold thread, with blue, purple, and crimson thread, and with finely-woven linen.
And he made the breastpiece [the] work of a skillful worker like [the] work of [the] ephod gold violet stuff and purple and scarlet stuff of scarlet and fine linen twisted.
9 It was square when folded, measuring around nine inches in length and width.
Square it was folded double they made the breastpiece [was] a span length its and [was] a span breadth its folded double.
10 They attached an arrangement of precious stones in four rows as follows. In the first row carnelian, peridot, and emerald.
And they filled in it four rows of stone[s] [was] a row of a ruby a topaz and a beryl the row one.
11 In the second row turquoise, lapis lazuli, and sardonyx.
And the row second [was] a turquoise a sapphire and an emerald.
12 In the third row jacinth, agate, and amethyst.
And the row third [was] a jacinth an agate and an amethyst.
13 In the fourth row topaz, beryl, and jasper. They were all placed in ornamental gold settings.
And the row fourth [was] a chrysolite an onyx and a jasper surrounded filigree settings of gold in settings their.
14 Each of the twelve stones were engraved like a personal seal with the name of one of the twelve Israelites tribes and represented them.
And the stones on [the] names of [the] sons of Israel they [were] two [plus] ten on names their [was the] engravings of a seal each one on name its for two [plus] ten tribe[s].
15 They made cords of braided chains from pure gold to attach the breastpiece.
And they made on the breastpiece chains of twisting a work of cordage gold pure.
16 They made two gold settings and two gold rings and fastened the rings to the two top corners of the breastpiece.
And they made two filigree settings of gold and two rings of gold and they put [the] two the rings on [the] two [the] ends of the breastpiece.
17 They attached the two gold chains to the two gold rings on the corners of the breastpiece,
And they put [the] two the cords the gold on [the] two the rings on [the] ends of the breastpiece.
18 and then fastened the opposite ends of the two chains to the ornamental gold settings on the shoulder pieces of the front side of the ephod.
And [the] two [the] ends of [the] two the cords they put on [the] two the filigree settings and they put them on [the] shoulder-pieces of the ephod to [the] front of face its.
19 They made two more gold rings and attached them to the two lower corners of the breastpiece, on the inside edge next to the ephod.
And they made two rings of gold and they put [them] on [the] two [the] ends of the breastpiece on edge its which [was] to [the] side of the ephod [the] inside towards.
20 They made two more gold rings and attached them to the bottom of the two shoulder pieces of the front side of the ephod, near where it joins its woven waistband.
And they made two rings of gold and they put them on [the] two [the] shoulder-pieces of the ephod from to downwards from in front of face its close to joining its from above [the] girdle of the ephod.
21 They tied the rings of the breastpiece to the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue thread, so that the breastpiece wouldn't come loose from the ephod, as the Lord had ordered Moses to do.
And they bound the breastpiece from rings its to [the] rings of the ephod with a cord of violet stuff to be on [the] girdle of the ephod and not it was displaced the breastpiece from on the ephod just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
22 They made the robe that goes with the ephod exclusively from woven blue cloth,
And he made [the] robe of the ephod [the] work of a weaver an entirety of violet stuff.
23 with an opening in the middle at the top. They stitched a woven collar around the opening to strengthen it so it wouldn't tear.
And [the] opening of the robe [was] in [the] middle of it like [the] opening of a collar an edge [belonged] to opening its all around not it was torn.
24 They made pomegranates using blue, purple, and crimson thread and finely-woven linen and attached them all the way around its hem.
And they made on [the] skirts of the robe pomegranates of violet stuff and purple and scarlet stuff of scarlet twisted.
25 They made pure gold bells and attached them between the pomegranates all the way around its hem,
And they made bells of gold pure and they put the bells in between the pomegranates on [the] skirts of the robe all around in between the pomegranates.
26 having the bells and the pomegranates alternate. The robe was to be used for priestly service, as the Lord had ordered Moses to do.
A bell and a pomegranate a bell and a pomegranate [were] on [the] skirts of the robe all around to serve just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
27 They made tunics with finely-spun linen made by a weaver for Aaron and his sons.
And they made the tunics fine linen [the] work of a weaver for Aaron and for sons his.
28 They also made turbans, headdresses, and headbands of fine linen, and finely-woven linen undershorts,
And the turban fine linen and [the] head-wrap of the headdresses fine linen and [the] undergarments of linen fine linen twisted.
29 as well as sashes of finely-woven linen embroidered with blue, purple, and crimson thread, as the Lord had ordered Moses to do.
And the sash fine linen twisted and violet stuff and purple and scarlet stuff of scarlet [the] work of a worker in colors just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
30 They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold and wrote on it, engraved like a seal, “Holy to the Lord.”
And they made [the] plate of [the] crown of holiness gold pure and they inscribed on it an inscription of [the] engravings of a seal holiness to Yahweh.
31 They tied a blue cord to it to attach it to the front of the turban, as the Lord had ordered Moses to do.
And they put on it a cord of violet stuff to put [it] on the turban from to above just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
32 So all the work for the Tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was finished. The Israelites did everything as the Lord had ordered Moses to do.
And it was finished all [the] service of [the] tabernacle of [the] tent of meeting and they did [the] people of Israel according to all that he had commanded Yahweh Moses so they did.
33 Then they presented the Tabernacle to Moses: the tent with all its furniture, its clips, its frames, its crossbars, and its posts and stands;
And they brought the tabernacle to Moses the tent and all articles its hooks its frames its (bars its *Q(K)*) and pillars its and bases its.
34 the covering of tanned ram skins, the covering of fine leather, and the veil;
And [the] covering of [the] skins of the rams that was dyed red and [the] covering of [the] skins of the dolphins and [the] curtain of the screen.
35 the Ark of the Testimony with its poles and the atonement cover;
[the] ark of The testimony and poles its and the atonement cover.
36 the table with all its equipment and the Bread of the Presence;
The table all articles its and [the] bread of the presence.
37 the pure gold lampstand with its lamps placed in a row, and all its equipment, as well as the olive oil for the lamps;
The lampstand pure lamps its [the] lamps of the row and all articles its and [the] oil of the light.
38 the gold altar, the anointing oil, the aromatic incense, and the screen for the tent's entrance;
And [the] altar of gold and [the] oil of anointing and [the] incense of the perfume and [the] screen of [the] entrance of the tent.
39 the bronze altar with its bronze grate, its poles, and all its utensils; the basin plus its stand;
- [the] altar of Bronze and [the] grating of bronze which [belonged] to it poles its and all articles its the laver and base its.
40 the curtains of the courtyard and its posts and stands; the curtain for the courtyard entrance, its ropes and tent pegs, and all the equipment for the services of Tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting;
[the] curtains of The courtyard pillars its and bases its and the screen for [the] gate of the courtyard ropes its and tent pegs its and all [the] articles of [the] service of the tabernacle for [the] tent of meeting.
41 and the woven garments for serving in the sanctuary, the holy clothes for Aaron the priest and for his sons to serve as priests.
[the] garments of The woven material to serve in the holy place [the] garments of holiness for Aaron the priest and [the] garments of sons his to serve as priests.
42 The Israelites did all the work that the Lord had ordered Moses to do.
According to all that he had commanded Yahweh Moses so they did [the] people of Israel all the labor.
43 Moses inspected all the work and made sure they had done it as the Lord had ordered. Then Moses blessed them.
And he saw Moses all the work and there! they had done it just as he had commanded Yahweh so they had done and he blessed them Moses.
