< Exodus 35 >

1 Moses summoned all the Israelites and told them, “This is what the Lord has ordered you to do:
Then Moses assembled all the Congregation of the children of Israel, and sayd vnto them, These are the wordes which the Lord hath commanded, that ye should do them:
2 Six days you can work, but the seventh day is to be a holy Sabbath of rest to the Lord. Anyone who does any work on the Sabbath day must be killed.
Six dayes thou shalt work, but the seuenth day shall bee vnto you the holy Sabbath of rest vnto the Lord: whosoeuer doth any worke therein, shall die.
3 Don't even light a fire in any of your homes on the Sabbath day.”
Ye shall kindle no fire throughout all your habitations vpon the Sabbath day.
4 Moses also told all the Israelites, “This is what the Lord has commanded:
Againe, Moses spake vnto all the Congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord commandeth, saying,
5 Collect an offering to the Lord from what you have. Everyone who wants to should bring an offering to the Lord: gold, silver, and bronze;
Take from among you an offering vnto the Lord: whosoeuer is of a willing heart, let him bring this offring to the Lord, namely golde, and siluer, and brasse:
6 blue, purple, and crimson thread; finely-woven linen and goat hair;
Also blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine linen, and goates heare,
7 tanned ram skins and fine leather; acacia wood;
And rams skins died red, and badgers skins with Shittim wood:
8 olive oil for the lamps; spices for the anointing oil and for the aromatic incense;
Also oyle for light, and spices for the anointing oyle, and for the sweete incense,
9 and onyx stones and gemstones for making the ephod and breastpiece.
And onix stones, and stones to be set in the Ephod, and in the brest plate.
10 All your skilled craftsmen are to come and make everything the Lord has commanded:
And all the wise hearted among you, shall come and make all that the Lord hath commanded:
11 the Tabernacle with its tent and covering, its clips and frames, its crossbars, posts, and stands;
That is, the Tabernacle, that pauilion thereof, and his couering, and his taches and his boards, his barres, his pillars and his sockets,
12 the Ark with its poles and atonement cover, and the veil to hang over it;
The Arke, and the barres thereof ye Merci-seate, and the vaile that couereth it,
13 the table with its poles, all its equipment, and the Bread of the Presence;
The Table, and the barres of it, and all the instruments thereof, and the shewe bread:
14 the lampstand of light with its equipment and lamps and olive oil to provide lighting;
Also the Candlesticke of light and his instruments, and his lampes with the oyle for the light:
15 the altar of incense with its poles; the anointing oil and aromatic incense; the screen for the Tabernacle entrance and all its accessories;
Likewise the Altar of perfume and his barres, and the anoynting oyle, and the sweete incense, and the vaile of the doore at the entring in of the Tabernacle,
16 the altar of burnt offering with its bronze grate, its poles and all its utensils; the basin plus its stand;
The Altar of burnt offering with his brasen grate, his barres and all his instruments, the Lauer and his foote,
17 the curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, and the curtain for the courtyard entrance;
The hangings of the court, his pillars and his sockets, and the vaile of the gate of the court,
18 the tent pegs for the Tabernacle and for the courtyard, as well as their ropes;
The pinnes of the Tabernacle, and the pinnes of the court with their cordes,
19 and the woven clothes for serving in the holy place: the sacred clothing for Aaron the priest and for his sons to serve as priests.”
The ministring garments to minister in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the Priest, and the garmentes of his sonnes, that they may minister in the Priests office.
20 The Israelites left Moses,
Then all the Congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.
21 and all those who felt moved to do so and who had a willing spirit came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work making the Tent of Meeting, for everything required for its services, and for the sacred clothing.
And euery one, whose heart encouraged him, and euery one, whose spirit made him willing, came and brought an offring to the Lord, for the worke of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and for all his vses, and for the holy garments.
22 So everyone who was willing, both men and women, came and presented their gold as a thanks offering to the Lord, including brooches, earrings, rings, and necklaces—all kinds of gold jewelry.
Both men and women, as many as were free hearted, came and brought taches and earings, and rings, and bracelets, all were iewels of golde: and euery one that offered an offring of gold vnto the Lord:
23 Everyone who had blue, purple, and crimson thread, finely-woven linen, goat hair, tanned ram skins, and fine leather, contributed them.
Euery man also, which had blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine linen, and goates heare, and rammes skinnes died red, and badgers skins, brought them.
24 Those who could present an offering of silver or bronze brought it as a gift to the Lord. Everyone who had acacia wood for any part of the work donated it.
All that offered an oblation of siluer and of brasse, brought the offring vnto the Lord: and euery one, that had Shittim wood for any maner worke of the ministration, brought it.
25 Every woman skilled in spinning with her hands brought what she had spun: blue, purple, or crimson thread, or finely-woven linen.
And all the women that were wise hearted, did spin with their hands, and brought ye spun worke, euen the blewe silke, and the purple, the skarlet, and the fine linen.
26 All the women who were willing to use their skills spun the goat hair.
Likewise al the women, whose hearts were moued with knowledge, spun goates heare.
27 The leaders brought onyx stones and gemstones to make the ephod and breastpiece,
And ye rulers brought onix stones, and stones to be set in the Ephod, and in the brest plate:
28 as well as spices and olive oil for lighting, for the anointing oil, and for the aromatic incense.
Also spice, and oyle for light, and for the anoynting oyle, and for the sweete perfume.
29 All the Israelite men and women who were willing brought a freewill offering to the Lord for all the work in making what the Lord through Moses had ordered them to do.
Euery man and woman of the children of Israel, whose hearts moued the willingly to bring for all the worke which the Lord had commanded the to make by the hand of Moses, brought a free offring to the Lord.
30 Then Moses told the Israelites, “The Lord chosen by name Bezalel, son of Uri, son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah.
Then Moses sayde vnto the children of Israel, Beholde, the Lord hath called by name Bezaleel the sonne of Vri, the sonne of Hur of the tribe of Iudah,
31 He has filled him with the Spirit of God giving him ability, creativity, and expertise in all kinds of craftsmanship.
And hath filled him with an excellent spirit of wisdome, of vnderstanding, and of knowledge, and in all maner worke,
32 He can produce designs in gold, silver, and bronze,
To finde out curious workes, to worke in golde, and in siluer, and in brasse,
33 he can cut gemstones to place in settings, and he can carve wood. He is a master of every craft.
And in grauing stones to set them, and in karuing of wood, euen to make any maner of fine worke.
34 The Lord has also given him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others.
And he hath put in his heart that hee may teach other: both hee, and Aholiab the sonne of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan:
35 He has equipped them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and crimson thread, and finely-woven linen, and as weavers—in fact as skilled designers in all kinds of different crafts.
Them hath he filled with wisdome of heart to worke all maner of cunning and broidred, and needle worke: in blewe silke, and in purple, in skarlet, and in fine linnen and weauing, euen to do all maner of worke and subtill inuentions.
