Exodus 24
1 The Lord told Moses, “Come up to the Lord—you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of Israel's elders. You are to worship at a distance.
൧യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോട് പറഞ്ഞു: “നീയും അഹരോനും നാദാബും അബീഹൂവും യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരിൽ എഴുപത് പേരും യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കൽ കയറിവന്ന് ദൂരത്തുനിന്ന് നമസ്കരിക്കുവിൻ.
2 Only Moses may approach the Lord—the others must not come near. The people may not go up the mountain with him.”
൨മോശെ മാത്രം യഹോവയുടെ അടുത്തുവരട്ടെ. മറ്റുള്ളവർ അടുത്തുവരരുത്; ജനം അവനോടുകൂടി കയറി വരുകയുമരുത്” എന്ന് കല്പിച്ചു.
3 Moses went and told the people all the Lord's instructions and regulations. They all responded together: “We will do everything the Lord says!”
൩അപ്പോൾ മോശെ വന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ വചനങ്ങളും ന്യായങ്ങളും എല്ലാം ജനത്തെ അറിയിച്ചു. “യഹോവ കല്പിച്ച സകല കാര്യങ്ങളും ഞങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യും” എന്ന് ജനമൊക്കെയും ഏകസ്വരത്തോടെ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
4 Moses wrote down everything the Lord had said. He got up early the following morning and built an altar at the bottom of the mountain, and set up twelve pillars for each of the twelve tribes of Israel.
൪മോശെ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പ്നകളെല്ലാം എഴുതി അതികാലത്ത് എഴുന്നേറ്റ് പർവ്വതത്തിന്റെ അടിവാരത്ത് ഒരു യാഗപീഠവും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പന്ത്രണ്ട് ഗോത്രങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണത്തിനനുസരിച്ച് പന്ത്രണ്ട് തൂണുകളും പണിതു.
5 Then he sent out some young Israelite men who went and offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls as peace offerings to the Lord.
൫പിന്നെ അവർ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളിൽ ചില ബാല്യക്കാരെ അയച്ചു; അവർ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങൾ കഴിച്ച് യഹോവയ്ക്ക് സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളായി കാളകളെയും അർപ്പിച്ചു.
6 Moses put half of the blood into bowls, and sprinkled the other half on the altar.
൬മോശെ രക്തത്തിൽ പകുതി എടുത്ത് പാത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒഴിച്ചു; രക്തത്തിൽ പാതി യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ തളിച്ചു.
7 Then he picked up the Book of the Agreement and read it to the people. They replied, “We will do everything the Lord says. We will obey.”
൭അവൻ നിയമപുസ്തകം എടുത്ത് ജനം കേൾക്കെ വായിച്ചു. യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചതൊക്കെയും ഞങ്ങൾ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുമെന്ന് അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.
8 So Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Look, this is the blood of the agreement that the Lord has made with you following these terms.”
൮അപ്പോൾ മോശെ രക്തം എടുത്ത് ജനത്തിന്മേൽ തളിച്ചു; “ഈ സകലവചനങ്ങളും ആധാരമാക്കി യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോട് ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന നിയമത്തിന്റെ രക്തം ഇതാ” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.
9 Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of Israel's elders climbed up the mountain,
൯അനന്തരം മോശെയും അഹരോനും നാദാബും അബീഹൂവും യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരിൽ എഴുപത് പേരുംകൂടി കയറിച്ചെന്നു.
10 and they saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was something like a tiled pavement made of lapis lazuli, as clear blue as the sky itself.
൧൦അവർ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ കണ്ടു; അവിടുത്തെ പാദങ്ങൾക്ക് കീഴെ നീലക്കല്ല് പാകിയ തളം പോലെയും ആകാശത്തിന്റെ സ്വച്ഛതപോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു.
11 But God did not harm the leaders of Israel—they saw him, and they ate and drank a sacred meal.
൧൧യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ പ്രമാണികൾക്ക് തൃക്കയ്യാൽ ഒന്നും ഭവിച്ചില്ല; അവർ ദൈവത്തെ കണ്ട് ഭക്ഷണപാനീയങ്ങൾ കഴിച്ചു.
12 Then the Lord told Moses, “Come up the mountain to me, and stay here, so I can give you the stone tablets, with the instructions and commands I have written for them to learn.”
൧൨പിന്നെ യഹോവ മോശെയോട്: “നീ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ കയറിവന്ന് അവിടെ ഇരിയ്ക്കുക; ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് കല്പലകകളും നീ അവരെ ഉപദേശിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഞാൻ എഴുതിയ ന്യായപ്രമാണവും കല്പനകളും തരും” എന്ന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
13 So Moses left with Joshua his attendant and climbed up the mountain of God.
൧൩അങ്ങനെ മോശെയും അവന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരനായ യോശുവയും എഴുന്നേറ്റ്, മോശെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ കയറി.
14 He told the elders, “Stay here and wait for us to return. Aaron and Hur are with you. If anyone has a problem, they can talk with them.”
൧൪അവൻ മൂപ്പന്മാരോട്: “ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിവരുവോളം ഇവിടെ താമസിക്കുവിൻ; അഹരോനും ഹൂരും നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടി ഉണ്ടല്ലോ; ആർക്കെങ്കിലും വല്ല കാര്യവുമുണ്ടായാൽ അവൻ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലട്ടെ” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.
15 As Moses climbed up on the mountain, the cloud covered it
൧൫അങ്ങനെ മോശെ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ കയറിപ്പോയി; ഒരു മേഘം പർവ്വതത്തെ മൂടി.
16 The Lord's glory came down on Mount Sinai, covering it for six days. On the seventh day the Lord called to Moses from inside the cloud.
൧൬യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സും സീനായി പർവ്വതത്തിൽ ആവസിച്ചു. മേഘം ആറുദിവസം അതിനെ മൂടിയിരുന്നു; അവൻ ഏഴാം ദിവസം മേഘത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്ന് മോശെയെ വിളിച്ചു.
17 To the Israelites the Lord's glory looked like a burning fire on the top of the mountain.
൧൭യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സിന്റെ കാഴ്ച പർവ്വതത്തിന്റെ മുകളിൽ കത്തുന്ന തീപോലെ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾക്ക് തോന്നി.
18 Moses went into the cloud as he climbed up on the mountain, and he stayed on the mountain for forty days and nights.
൧൮മോശെയോ മേഘത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ കയറി. മോശെ നാല്പത് പകലും നാല്പത് രാവും പർവ്വതത്തിൽ ആയിരുന്നു.
