< Deuteronomy 34 >

1 Moses left the plains of Moab and went to Mount Nebo, climbing right to the top of Pisgah that faces in the direction of Jericho. The Lord showed him the whole country, from Gilead all the way to Dan.
Dia niakatra niala teo Arbota-moaba Mosesy ka nankany an-tendrombohitra Nebo, ao an-tampon’ i Pisga, izay tandrifin’ i Jeriko. Ary nasehon’ i Jehovah azy ny tany Gileada rehetra hatrany Dana
2 This included all the territories of Naphtali, Ephraim and Manasseh, Judah as far as the Mediterranean Sea,
sy Naftaly rehetra sy ny tanin’ ny Efraima sy ny Manase sy ny tanin’ ny Joda rehetra hatramin’ ny ranomasina andrefana
3 the Negev, and the Jordan Valley from Jericho (the city of palms) down to Zoar.
ary ny tany atsimo sy ny ao amin’ ny lohasahan’ i Jeriko, tanàna be rofia hatrany Zoara.
4 The Lord told him, “This is the country I solemnly promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when I said, ‘I'm giving it to your descendants.’ I have allowed you to see it for yourself, but you're not going to enter it.”
Dia hoy Jehovah taminy: Io no tany izay nianianako tamin’ i Abrahama sy Isaka ary Jakoba hoe: Homeko ny taranakao izy; nataoko mahita azy ny masonao, nefa tsy ho tafita ho tonga eny ianao.
5 Moses, the servant of the Lord, died there in the country of Moab, just as the Lord had said.
Ary Mosesy, mpanompon’ i Jehovah, dia maty teo amin’ ny tany Moaba araka ny tenin’ i Jehovah.
6 He buried him in a valley there in Moab that is opposite Beth-peor, but no one knows to this day where Moses' grave is.
Ary naleviny tao an-dohasaha tao amin’ ny tany Moaba, tandrifin’ i Beti-peora, izy; ka tsy misy olona mahalala ny fasany mandraka androany.
7 Moses was 120 when he died, yet he was still seeing clearly and he was still strong.
Efa roa-polo amby zato taona Mosesy vao maty; ary tsy pahina ny masony, na nihena ny heriny.
8 The Israelites mourned for Moses on the plains of Moab for thirty days, until the time of mourning was over.
Ary ny Zanak’ Isiraely nisaona an’ i Mosesy telo-polo andro teo Arbota-moaba; dia tapitra ny andro fitomaniana nisaonana an’ i Mosesy.
9 Joshua, son of Nun, was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had placed his hands on him to dedicate him. The Israelites paid attention to him, and followed the instructions the Lord had given to Moses.
Ary Josoa, zanak’ i Nona, dia feno ny fanahim-pahendrena, fa efa nametrahan’ i Mosesy tanana izy; dia nihaino azy ny Zanak’ Isiraely ka nanao araka izay nandidian’ i Jehovah an’ i Mosesy.
10 Since then there has never been a prophet in Israel like Moses who was the Lord's close friend.
Ary tsy nisy mpaminany intsony niseho teo amin’ ny Isiraely tahaka an’ i Mosesy, izay fantatr’ i Jehovah nifanatrika
11 The Lord sent him to carry out all the signs and miracles in Egypt to convince Pharaoh and his officials, and all the people in the country.
tamin’ ny famantarana rehetra sy ny fahagagana, izay nanirahan’ i Jehovah azy mba hataony tany Egypta tamin’ i Farao sy ny mpanompony rehetra ary ny taniny rehetra
12 Moses did these amazing things with tremendous power as the Israelites watched.
ary tamin’ ny herin-tanana rehetra sy ny fampahatahorana lehibe rehetra, izay nasehon’ i Mosesy teo imason’ ny Isiraely rehetra.
