Deuteronomy 33
1 The following is the blessing that Moses the man of God gave to the Israelites before he died.
ദൈവപുരുഷനായ മോശ തന്റെ മരണത്തിനുമുമ്പ് ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ ഇപ്രകാരം അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു.
2 He said, The Lord came from Mount Sinai and shone on us from Mount Seir; he blazed out from Mount Paran coming with ten thousand of holy ones, holding flaming fire at his right hand.
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “യഹോവ സീനായിൽനിന്ന് വന്നു, സേയീരിൽനിന്ന് അവരുടെമേൽ ഉദിച്ചു; പാരാൻപർവതത്തിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്നു പ്രകാശിച്ചു. തെക്കുനിന്ന്, അവിടത്തെ പർവതചരിവുകളിൽനിന്ന്, ലക്ഷോപലക്ഷം വിശുദ്ധരുമായി അവിടന്നു വന്നു.
3 How much you love the people; you hold all the holy ones in your hand. They sit down at your feet to listen to your words:
അങ്ങു നിശ്ചയമായും തന്റെ ജനത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ സകലവിശുദ്ധരും അങ്ങയുടെ കരവലയത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു. അവർ എല്ലാവരും അങ്ങയുടെ പാദത്തിൽ കുമ്പിടുന്നു, അങ്ങയിൽനിന്ന് അവർ ഉപദേശം സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നു,
4 the law that Moses delivered to us that belongs to all the Israelites.
യാക്കോബിന്റെ സഭയുടെ അവകാശമായി, മോശ നമുക്കു നൽകിയ നിയമംതന്നെ.
5 The Lord became King in Israel when the people's leaders gathered, when the tribes of Israel assembled.
ഇസ്രായേൽ ഗോത്രങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നായകന്മാർ ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടിയപ്പോൾ അങ്ങ് യെശൂരൂന് രാജാവായിരുന്നു.
6 To Reuben he said, “May he live and not die, but may he only have a few men.”
“രൂബേൻ മരിക്കാതെ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കട്ടെ, അവന്റെ പുരുഷന്മാർ കുറയാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.”
7 To Judah he said: “Lord, please hear the cry of Judah and reunite him with his people. Even though he fights for himself, may you help him against his enemies.”
അദ്ദേഹം യെഹൂദയെക്കുറിച്ച് ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു: “യഹോവേ, യെഹൂദയുടെ നിലവിളി കേൾക്കണമേ; അവനെ തന്റെ ജനത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരണമേ. അവൻ സ്വന്തം കരങ്ങളാൽ അവനുവേണ്ടി പൊരുതുന്നു; അവന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾക്കെതിരേ സഹായമായിരിക്കണമേ.”
8 To Levi he said: “Your Thummim were given to Levi and your Urim to those dedicated to God, the ones you tested at Massah and argued with at the waters of Meribah.
ലേവിയെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “അങ്ങയുടെ തുമ്മീമും ഊറീമും അങ്ങയുടെ ഭക്തനോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ട്. അവിടന്ന് അവനെ മസ്സായിൽവെച്ചു പരീക്ഷിച്ചു; മെരീബയിലെ ജലാശയത്തിനരികിൽവെച്ച് അങ്ങ് അവനോടു പൊരുതി.
9 Levi said that he didn't pay attention to his father and mother, that he didn't acknowledge his brothers, and that he didn't recognize his children. The Levites did what you said and kept your agreement.
അവൻ തന്റെ മാതാപിതാക്കളെക്കുറിച്ച്, ‘ഞാൻ അവരെ അറിയുന്നില്ല’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവൻ തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ അംഗീകരിച്ചില്ല, തന്റെ മക്കളെ സ്വീകരിച്ചുമില്ല, എന്നാൽ അവൻ അങ്ങയുടെ വചനം കാത്തു, അങ്ങയുടെ ഉടമ്പടി സൂക്ഷിച്ചു.
10 They will teach your regulations to Jacob and your law to Israel. They will place incense before you, and sacrifice whole burnt offerings on your altar.
അവൻ അങ്ങയുടെ പ്രമാണങ്ങൾ യാക്കോബിനെയും അങ്ങയുടെ നിയമം ഇസ്രായേലിനെയും ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ അങ്ങയുടെമുമ്പാകെ സുഗന്ധധൂപവും അങ്ങയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിൽ സമ്പൂർണ ഹോമയാഗവും അർപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
11 Lord, please bless what they have, and accept their service for you. Destroy those who attack them; make sure their enemies never rise again.”
യഹോവേ, അവന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകളെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കണമേ, അവന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽ പ്രസാദിക്കണമേ. അവനെ എതിർക്കുന്ന ശത്രുക്കൾ ഇനി എഴുന്നേൽക്കാതവണ്ണം അവരുടെ അരക്കെട്ടുകളെ നീ തകർത്തുകളയണമേ.”
12 To Benjamin he said: “May the one the Lord loves be kept safe and secure in the Lord. The Lord always protects him, letting him rest on his shoulders.”
ബെന്യാമീനെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “യഹോവയ്ക്കു പ്രിയനായവൻ അങ്ങയിൽ സുരക്ഷിതനായിരിക്കട്ടെ, ദിവസംമുഴുവനും അവിടന്ന് അവനെ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നു, യഹോവ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവൻ അവിടത്തെ തോളുകളിൽ വിശ്രമിക്കുന്നു.”
13 To Joseph he said: “May the Lord bless his land with the best gifts of heaven—with the dew and water from the depths below;
യോസേഫിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “അവന്റെ ദേശം യഹോവയാൽ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, മുകളിൽ സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള വിശിഷ്ട മഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും താഴേ അഗാധതയിലെ ജലംകൊണ്ടും;
14 with the best crops ripened by the sun and the best produce of the seasons;
സൂര്യനിൽനിന്നുള്ള വിശിഷ്ട ഫലങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും ചന്ദ്രനിൽനിന്നു ലഭിക്കുന്ന ശ്രേഷ്ഠഫലങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും;
15 with the finest contributions of the ancient mountains and the best materials of the everlasting hills;
പുരാതന പർവതങ്ങളുടെ വിശിഷ്ടദാനങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും ശാശ്വതശൈലങ്ങളുടെ ഫലസമൃദ്ധികൊണ്ടും;
16 with the best gifts of the land and everything in it, along with the appreciation of the one who was in the burning bush. May these blessings rest on the head of Joseph like a crown for this prince among his brothers.
ഭൂമിയിലെ ഉത്തമവസ്തുക്കൾകൊണ്ടും അതിന്റെ സമൃദ്ധികൊണ്ടും കത്തുന്ന മുൾപ്പടർപ്പിൽ വസിച്ചവന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹത്താലും സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ പ്രഭുവായ യോസേഫിന്റെ ശിരസ്സിലെ കിരീടത്തിൽ, ഈ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളെല്ലാം വന്നുഭവിക്കട്ടെ.
17 He is as majestic as a firstborn bull; his horns are like those of a wild ox. He will use them to gore the nations, driving them to the ends of the earth. The horns represent the ten thousands of Ephraim, and the thousands of Manasseh.”
പ്രതാപത്തിൽ അവൻ കടിഞ്ഞൂൽ കാട്ടുകാളയെപ്പോലെയാണ്; അവന്റെ കൊമ്പുകൾ കാട്ടുപോത്തിൻകൊമ്പുകളാകുന്നു. അവകൊണ്ട് അവൻ ജനതകളെ, ഭൂമിയുടെ അതിരുകളിൽ ഉള്ളവരെപ്പോലും വെട്ടി ഓടിച്ചുകളയും. എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ പതിനായിരങ്ങളും; മനശ്ശെയുടെ ആയിരങ്ങളും അങ്ങനെതന്നെ.”
18 To Zebulun he said: “Celebrate, Zebulun, in your travels and Issachar, in your tents.
സെബൂലൂനെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “സെബൂലൂനേ, നിന്റെ സഞ്ചാരങ്ങളിലും യിസ്സാഖാരേ, നീ നിന്റെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിലും ആനന്ദിക്കുക.
19 They will summon the peoples to a mountain; will offer the appropriate sacrifices there. They will enjoy the rich produce of the seas and from trading on the seashores.”
അവർ ജനതകളെ പർവതത്തിൽ വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടും, അവിടെ നീതിയാഗങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിക്കും; സമുദ്രങ്ങളിലെ സമൃദ്ധിയിലും മണലിലെ ഗൂഢനിക്ഷേപങ്ങളിലും അവർ വിരുന്നൊരുക്കും.”
20 To Gad he said: “Blessed is he who makes Gad's territory larger! Gad is like a lion lying in wait, ready to rip off an arm or a head.
ഗാദിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു: “ഗാദിനെ വിശാലമാക്കുന്നവൻ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ! ഗാദ് സിംഹത്തെപ്പോലെ ജീവിക്കുന്നു, ഭുജവും നെറുകയും പറിച്ചുകീറുന്നു.
21 He chose the best land for himself, for he was allocated a ruler's share. He met with the people's leaders; he did what the Lord said was right, following the Lord's regulations for Israel.”
ദേശത്തിന്റെ വിശിഷ്ടഭാഗം അവൻ തനിക്കുവേണ്ടി തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു; നായകരുടെ ഓഹരി അവനുവേണ്ടി സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നു. ജനത്തിന്റെ തലവന്മാർ ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടിയപ്പോൾ, യഹോവയുടെ നീതിയും ഇസ്രായേലിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ച വിധികളും അവൻ നടപ്പിലാക്കി.”
22 To Dan he said: “Dan is a young lion that leaps out of Bashan.”
ദാനെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “ദാൻ ബാശാനിൽനിന്നും കുതിച്ചുചാടുന്ന, ഒരു സിംഹക്കുട്ടി.”
23 To Naphtali he said: “Naphtali is really favored, full of the Lord's blessing. He shall take over the land to the west and south.”
നഫ്താലിയെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “നഫ്താലി യഹോവയുടെ പ്രസാദംകൊണ്ടു സംതൃപ്തനും അവിടത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹം നിറഞ്ഞവനും ആകുന്നു; തെക്കേദേശംമുതൽ കടൽവരെ അവൻ അവകാശമാക്കും.”
24 To Asher he said: “May Asher be blessed more than all the other sons; may he be favored above his brothers and bathe his feet in olive oil.
ആശേരിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: “പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ഏറ്റവും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ ആശേർ ആകുന്നു; അവൻ സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു പ്രിയനായിരിക്കട്ടെ, അവൻ തന്റെ പാദങ്ങൾ എണ്ണയിൽ മുക്കട്ടെ.
25 May the bolts of your gate be strong as iron and bronze, and may you be strong all your life.”
നിന്റെ ഓടാമ്പലുകൾ ഇരുമ്പും വെങ്കലവും ആയിരിക്കും; നിന്റെ ശക്തി നിന്റെ ദിനങ്ങൾക്കു തുല്യം.
26 There is no one like the God of Israel, who rides across the heavens to come to help you; who rides the clouds in majesty.
“യെശൂരൂന്റെ ദൈവത്തെപ്പോലെ ആരുമില്ല, നിന്റെ സഹായത്തിനായി അവിടന്നു തന്റെ മഹിമയിൽ മേഘാരൂഢനായി വരുന്നു,
27 The eternal God is your home, and he holds you up with his everlasting arms. He drives out the enemy ahead of you, and gives the order, “Destroy him!”
നിത്യനായ ദൈവം നിന്റെ സങ്കേതമാകുന്നു, കീഴേ ശാശ്വതഭുജങ്ങളുണ്ട്. ശത്രുക്കളെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്ന് തുരത്തി, ‘അവരെ സംഹരിക്കുക!’ എന്ന് അവിടന്നു കൽപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
28 As a result Israel lives in peace; Jacob has no trouble in a country of grain and new wine, where the heavens drip with dew.
ധാന്യവും പുതുവീഞ്ഞുമുള്ള ദേശത്ത്, അങ്ങനെ ഇസ്രായേൽ നിർഭയമായും യാക്കോബ് സുരക്ഷിതമായും വസിക്കുന്നു, അവിടെ ആകാശം മഞ്ഞുപൊഴിക്കും.
29 How blessed you are, Israel! Is there anyone like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is the shield that protects you, the sword that gives you confidence. Your enemies will tremble before you, and you shall tread them underfoot.
ഇസ്രായേലേ, നീ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ! നിന്നെപ്പോലെ യഹോവയാൽ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ട ജനം ഏതുള്ളൂ? അവിടന്നു നിന്റെ പരിചയും സഹായകനും നിന്റെ മഹിമയുടെ വാളും ആകുന്നു. നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ കീഴടങ്ങും, നീ അവരുടെ ഉന്നതസ്ഥലങ്ങൾ ചവിട്ടിമെതിക്കും.”
