Deuteronomy 27

1 Moses and the Israelite elders of Israel gave these instructions to the people: Keep all the commandments I am giving you today.

౧మోషే ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల పెద్దలకు, ప్రజలకు ఇలా ఆజ్ఞాపించారు. “ఈరోజు నేను మీకు ఆజ్ఞాపిస్తున్న ఆజ్ఞలన్నిటినీ పాటించాలి.

2 The day you cross the Jordan into the country the Lord your God is giving you, set up some large stones and paint them with whitewash.

౨మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకు అనుగ్రహిస్తున్న దేశంలో ప్రవేశించడానికి మీరు యొర్దాను నది దాటే రోజు మీరు పెద్ద రాళ్లను నిలబెట్టి వాటి మీద సున్నం పూయాలి.

3 Then write all these laws on them once you've crossed over to enter the country that the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your forefathers, promised you.

౩మీ పితరుల దేవుడు యెహోవా మీతో చెప్పిన ప్రకారం మీరు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకిస్తున్న పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించే దేశంలో ప్రవేశించడానికి మీరు నది దాటిన తరువాత ఈ ధర్మశాస్త్ర వాక్యాలన్నీ వాటి మీద రాయాలి.

4 After you've crossed the Jordan, you are to set up these stones on Mount Ebal, having painted them with whitewash, as I've ordered you to do today.

౪మీరు ఈ యొర్దాను దాటిన తరువాత నేను ఈ రోజు మీకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్టుగా ఈ రాళ్లను ఏబాలు కొండ మీద నిలబెట్టి వాటి మీద సున్నం పూయాలి.

5 Also build a stone altar there to the Lord your God, an altar of stones. Don't use any stone tools in its construction.

౫అక్కడ మీ యెహోవా దేవునికి బలిపీఠం కట్టాలి. ఆ బలిపీఠాన్ని రాళ్లతో నిర్మించాలి. ఆ పని కోసం ఇనుప పనిముట్లు ఉపయోగించకూడదు.

6 Build the altar of the Lord your God with uncut stones and sacrifice burnt offerings on it to the Lord your God.

౬చెక్కకుండా ఉన్న రాళ్లతో మీ యెహోవా దేవునికి బలిపీఠం కట్టి దాని మీద మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు హోమబలులు అర్పించాలి.

7 That is also where you are to sacrifice and eat your peace offerings, celebrating in the presence of the Lord your God.

౭మీరు సమాధాన బలులు అర్పించి అక్కడ భోజనం చేసి మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఎదుట సంతోషించాలి.

8 Write all these laws clearly on the stones.

౮ఈ ధర్మశాస్త్ర వాక్యాలన్నీ ఆ రాళ్ల మీద చాలా స్పష్టంగా రాయాలి.

9 Moses and the Levitical priests gave these orders to all the Israelites: “Be quiet, people of Israel, and listen! Today you have become the people of the Lord your God.

౯మోషే, యాజకులైన లేవీయులూ ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలందరితో ఇలా చెప్పారు, ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలారా, మీరు మౌనంగా ఉండి మా మాటలు వినండి.

10 So obey what the Lord your God tells you, and follow commandments and regulations that I'm giving you today.”

౧౦ఈనాడు మీరు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు స్వంత ప్రజలయ్యారు. కాబట్టి మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మాటలు విని, ఈ రోజు నేను మీకు ఆజ్ఞాపించే ఆయన చట్టాలూ, ఆజ్ఞలూ పాటించాలి.

11 That day Moses gave these orders to the people:

౧౧ఆ రోజే మోషే ప్రజలకు ఇలా ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు, మీరు యొర్దాను దాటిన తరువాత, షిమ్యోను, లేవీ, యూదా, ఇశ్శాఖారు, యోసేపు,

12 After you've crossed the Jordan, the following tribes are to stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.

౧౨బెన్యామీను గోత్రాలవాళ్ళు ప్రజలకు దీవెన పలుకులు అందించడానికి గెరిజీము కొండ మీద నిలబడాలి.

13 The following tribes are to stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

౧౩రూబేను, గాదు, ఆషేరు, జెబూలూను, దాను, నఫ్తాలి గోత్రాల వాళ్ళు శిక్షలు పలకడానికి ఏబాలు కొండ మీద నిలబడాలి.

14 Then the Levites will shout in a loud voice so Israelite can hear:

౧౪అప్పుడు లేవీయులు ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలందరితో బిగ్గరగా ఇలా చెప్పాలి.” “యెహోవాకు అసహ్యం కలిగించే శిల్పి చేతులతో

15 “A curse on anyone who makes a carved image or a metal idol and worships it in secret. It's only an object that someone made, and it's offensive to the Lord!” Everyone says “Amen!”

౧౫మలిచిన విగ్రహాన్ని గానీ పోత విగ్రహాన్ని గానీ చేసుకుని దాన్ని రహస్య స్థలంలో నిలబెట్టేవాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడు” అని చెప్పినప్పుడు ప్రజలంతా “ఆమేన్‌” అనాలి.

16 “A curse on anyone who dishonors their father or mother.” Everyone says “Amen!”

౧౬“తన తండ్రినిగానీ, తల్లినిగానీ అవమాన పరచేవాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడు” అని చెప్పినప్పుడు, ప్రజలంతా “ఆమేన్‌” అనాలి.

17 “A curse on anyone who moves their neighbor's boundary stone!” Everyone says “Amen!”

౧౭“తన పొరుగువాడి సరిహద్దు రాయిని తొలగించినవాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడు” అని చెప్పినప్పుడు, ప్రజలంతా “ఆమేన్‌” అనాలి.

18 “A curse on anyone who allows a blind man to wander in the road!” Everyone says “Amen!”

౧౮“గుడ్డివాణ్ణి దారి తప్పించేవాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడు” అని చెప్పినప్పుడు, ప్రజలంతా “ఆమేన్‌” అనాలి.

19 “A curse on anyone who doesn't treat foreigners, the orphans, and widows fairly!” Everyone says “Amen!”

౧౯“పరదేశికి గానీ, తండ్రి లేనివాడికి గానీ, విధవరాలికి గానీ అన్యాయపు తీర్పు తీర్చేవాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడు” అని చెప్పినప్పుడు, ప్రజలంతా “ఆమేన్‌” అనాలి.

20 “A curse on any man who sleeps with his father's wife, for he has disgraced his father!” Everyone says “Amen!”

౨౦“తన తండ్రి భార్యతో లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకున్నవాడు, తన తండ్రి పడకను హేళన చేసినవాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడు” అని చెప్పినప్పుడు, ప్రజలంతా “ఆమేన్‌” అనాలి.

21 “A curse on anyone who has sex with any animal!” Everyone says “Amen!”

౨౧“ఏదైనా జంతువుతో లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకున్నవాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడు” అని చెప్పినప్పుడు, ప్రజలంతా “ఆమేన్‌” అనాలి.

22 “A curse on any man who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother!” Everyone says “Amen!”

౨౨“తన సోదరితో, అంటే తన తండ్రి కూతురుతో గానీ, తన తల్లి కూతురుతో గానీ లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకున్నవాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడు” అని చెప్పినప్పుడు, ప్రజలంతా “ఆమేన్‌” అనాలి.

23 “A curse on any man who sleeps with his mother-in-law!” Everyone says “Amen!”

౨౩“తన అత్తతో లైంగిక సంబంధం పెట్టుకున్నవాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడు” అని చెప్పినప్పుడు, ప్రజలంతా “ఆమేన్‌” అనాలి.

24 “A curse on anyone who secretly attacks his neighbor!” Everyone says “Amen!”

౨౪“రహస్యంగా తన పొరుగువాణ్ణి చంపేవాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడు” అని చెప్పినప్పుడు, ప్రజలంతా “ఆమేన్‌” అనాలి.

25 “A curse on anyone who accepts a bribe to kill someone who's innocent!” Everyone says “Amen!”

౨౫“నిర్దోషి ప్రాణం తీయడానికి లంచం తీసుకునేవాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడు” అని చెప్పినప్పుడు, ప్రజలంతా “ఆమేన్‌” అనాలి.

26 “A curse on anyone who doesn't carefully obey all these laws by keeping them!” Everyone says “Amen!”

౨౬“ఈ ధర్మశాస్త్రానికి సంబంధించిన విధులను పాటించకుండా వాటిని లక్ష్యపెట్టనివాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడు” అని చెప్పినప్పుడు, ప్రజలంతా “ఆమేన్‌” అనాలి.
