Deuteronomy 12
1 These are the rules and regulations you must make sure to follow the whole time you live in the land that the Lord, the God of your forefathers, has given you to own.
Estes são os estatutos e as ordenanças que você deve observar para fazer na terra que Iavé, o Deus de seus pais, lhe deu para possuir todos os dias que você vive na terra.
2 You are to completely destroy all the pagan shrines where the nations you're driving out worshiped their gods: on the top of high mountains, on the hills, and under every green tree.
Certamente destruireis todos os lugares em que as nações que despojardes serviram seus deuses: nas altas montanhas, nas colinas, e debaixo de toda árvore verde.
3 Tear down their altars, knock down their idolatrous pillars, burn down their Asherah poles, and cut down the idols of their gods. Remove any trace of them from everywhere.
Derrubarás seus altares, despedaçarás seus pilares e queimarás seus bastões de Cinzas com fogo. Cortareis as imagens gravadas de seus deuses. Destruireis o nome deles daquele lugar.
4 You are not to worship the Lord your God in the way that they did.
Não o farás a Javé, teu Deus.
5 No, you must go to the place the Lord your God will choose from the territory of all your tribes to set up a place where he will live with you. That's where you must go.
Mas para o lugar que Javé, vosso Deus, escolherá dentre todas as vossas tribos, para ali colocar seu nome, procurareis sua morada, e ali vireis.
6 You'll take there your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and all your offerings—your freewill offerings and offerings to fulfill a promise, along with the firstborn of your herds and flocks.
Levareis vossas ofertas queimadas, vossos sacrifícios, vossos dízimos, a oferta de mão, vossos votos, vossas ofertas de livre vontade, e o primogênito de vosso rebanho e de vosso rebanho ali.
7 That's where, in the presence of the Lord your God, you and your families will eat and celebrate everything you've worked for, because the Lord your God has blessed you.
Ali comereis perante Javé vosso Deus, e vos alegrareis com tudo a que puserdes vossa mão, vós e vossas famílias, nas quais Javé vosso Deus vos abençoou.
8 You're not to do like we're doing here today. At the moment everyone does what they think is right,
Você não fará todas as coisas que fazemos aqui hoje, cada homem o que quer que seja certo aos seus próprios olhos;
9 because you haven't arrived in the land you will own that the Lord your God is giving you and where you will be at peace.
pois você ainda não chegou ao resto e à herança que Yahweh seu Deus lhe dá.
10 After you cross the Jordan and settle down in the country that the Lord your God is giving you to possess, and he lets you rest from fighting all your enemies and you live in safety,
Mas quando atravessares o Jordão e habitares a terra que Javé teu Deus te faz herdar, e ele te der descanso de todos os teus inimigos ao teu redor, para que habites em segurança,
11 then the Lord your God will choose a place where he will live with you. That's where you are to bring everything I've order you to do—your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and freewill offerings, and all the special gifts you promise to give to the Lord.
então acontecerá que ao lugar que Javé teu Deus escolher, para fazer habitar ali o seu nome, ali trarás tudo o que eu te ordeno: tuas ofertas queimadas, teus sacrifícios, teus dízimos, a oferta da tua mão, e todos os teus votos de escolha que fizeres a Javé.
12 You will celebrate there in the presence of the Lord your God—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female slaves, and the Levites living in your towns, because they don't have any share in the allotment of land.
Alegrar-vos-eis perante Iavé vosso Deus - vós e vossos filhos, vossas filhas, vossos servos, vossas servas, vossas servas e o levita que está dentro de vossos portões, porque ele não tem parte nem herança convosco.
13 Make sure you don't present your burnt offerings just anywhere you want.
Tenha cuidado para não oferecer suas ofertas queimadas em todos os lugares que você vê;
14 You are to offer them only in the place the Lord will choose in the territory of one of your tribes. That's where you are to do everything that I order you to do.
mas no lugar que Javé escolher em uma de suas tribos, lá você oferecerá suas ofertas queimadas, e lá você fará tudo o que eu lhe ordenar.
15 Of course you can slaughter and eat meat wherever you are, anytime you want, depending on how much the Lord your God has blessed you. All of you, whether you're ceremonially clean or not, can it eat it just like you would a gazelle or a deer,
No entanto, você pode matar e comer carne dentro de todos os seus portões, depois de todo o desejo de sua alma, de acordo com Yahweh, a bênção de seu Deus que Ele lhe deu. O impuro e o limpo podem comer dela, como da gazela e do cervo.
16 but you are not to eat the blood—pour that out on the ground.
Somente vós não comereis o sangue. Derramá-lo-ás sobre a terra como água.
17 In your towns you must not eat the tithe of your grain or new wine or olive oil, the firstborn of your herds or flocks, any of the offerings that you give to fulfill a promise, your freewill offerings, or your special gifts.
Não poderás comer dentro de tuas portas o dízimo de teu grão, ou de teu vinho novo, ou de teu óleo, ou o primogênito de teu rebanho ou de teu rebanho, nem qualquer de teus votos que fizeres, nem tuas ofertas de livre vontade, nem a oferta de onda de tua mão;
18 No, you must eat them in the presence of the Lord your God at the place the Lord your God will choose— you, your sons and daughters, your male and female slaves, and the Levites living in your towns. Celebrate in the presence of the Lord your God in everything you do,
mas as comerás diante de Javé teu Deus no lugar que Javé teu Deus escolher: tu, teu filho, tua filha, teu servo macho, tua serva fêmea e o levita que está dentro de tuas portas. Você se alegrará diante de Javé, seu Deus, em tudo a que puser sua mão.
19 and make sure you don't forget about the Levites as the whole time you live in your land.
Tenha cuidado para não abandonar o Levita enquanto viver em sua terra.
20 When the Lord your God gives you more land as he promised, and you feel like some meat, and say, “I want to have some meat,” you may can it whenever you want.
Quando Yahweh seu Deus amplia sua fronteira, como Ele lhe prometeu, e você diz: “Eu quero comer carne”, porque sua alma deseja comer carne, você pode comer carne, depois de todo o desejo de sua alma.
21 If the place where the Lord your God chooses to live with you is a long way away, then you can slaughter any animal from the herd or flock he has given you, following the regulations I have given you, and you can eat it in your town whenever you want.
Se o lugar que Javé seu Deus escolher para colocar seu nome estiver muito longe de você, então você matará de seu rebanho e de seu rebanho, que Javé lhe deu, como eu lhe ordenei; e você poderá comer dentro de seus portões, depois de todo o desejo de sua alma.
22 In fact you can eat it like you would eat a gazelle or deer—whether you're ceremonially clean or not, you can eat it.
Mesmo como a gazela e como o cervo é comido, assim comereis dele. O imundo e o limpo podem comer dela da mesma forma.
23 Just make sure you don't eat the blood, because the blood is the life, and you must not eat the life with the meat.
Tenha certeza apenas de que você não come o sangue; pois o sangue é a vida. Você não deve comer a vida com a carne.
24 You must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground.
Você não comerá dela. Você o derramará sobre a terra como água.
25 Don't eat it, so that all will go well with you and your children, because you will be doing what is right in the Lord's sight.
Não o comerá, para que ele possa ir bem com você e com seus filhos depois de você, quando fizer o que é certo aos olhos de Javé.
26 Take your holy sacrifices and the offerings to fulfill your vows and go to the place the Lord will choose.
Somente suas coisas sagradas que você tem, e seus votos, você tomará e irá para o lugar que Yahweh escolher.
27 Present your burnt offerings, the meat and blood, on the altar of the Lord your God. The blood of your other sacrifices is to be poured out beside the altar of the Lord your God, but you are allowed to eat the meat.
Vocês oferecerão seus holocaustos, a carne e o sangue, no altar de Yahweh, vosso Deus. O sangue de seus sacrifícios será derramado sobre o altar de Yahweh seu Deus, e você comerá a carne.
28 Make sure you obey everything I'm commanding you, so that it may always go well with you and your children, because you will be following what is good and right in the sight of the Lord your God.
Observe e ouça todas estas palavras que eu lhe ordeno, para que possa ir bem com você e com seus filhos depois de você para sempre, quando você fizer o que é bom e correto aos olhos de Iavé seu Deus.
29 When the Lord your God destroys the nations ahead of you as you enter the country to possess, and you drive them out and settle down in their land,
Quando Yahweh seu Deus cortar as nações de antes de você onde você entra para desapropriá-las, e você as desapropriar e habitar em suas terras,
30 make sure you don't fall into the trap of following their ways after they have been destroyed right in front of you. Don't try and find out about their gods, asking, “I wonder how these people worship their gods? I'll do like they did.”
tenha cuidado para não ser ludibriado a segui-las depois de serem destruídas de antes de você, e para não perguntar depois de seus deuses, dizendo: “Como estas nações servem a seus deuses? Eu farei o mesmo”.
31 You must not worship the Lord your God like this, because when they worship their gods they do every kind of abominable thing that the Lord hates. They even burn their sons and daughters as sacrifices to their gods!
Não o farás a Javé teu Deus; por toda abominação a Javé, que ele odeia, eles fizeram aos seus deuses; pois até queimam seus filhos e suas filhas no fogo aos seus deuses.
32 Be careful to do everything I order you to do. Don't add or take away anything from these instructions.
Whatever coisa que eu vos ordeno, que observem para fazer. Não lhe acrescentarás, nem lhe tirarás nada.
