Daniel 3
1 King Nebuchadnezzar had a gold statue made that was sixty cubits tall and six cubits wide. He had it set up on the plain of Dura in the province of Babylon.
੧ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਬਣਵਾਈ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਉਚਿਆਈ ਸੱਠ ਹੱਥ ਤੇ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਛੇ ਹੱਥ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰਾ ਨਾਮਕ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
2 Then he summoned the provincial governors, prefects, local governors, counselors, treasurers, judges, magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces to come to the dedication of the statue he had set up.
੨ਤਦ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹਿਜ਼ਾਦਿਆਂ, ਦੀਵਾਨਾਂ, ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ, ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰਾਂ, ਭੰਡਾਰੀਆਂ, ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰਾਂ, ਕਪਤਾਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਣ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੇ ਖੜੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
3 They all came to the dedication of the statue Nebuchadnezzar had set up and stood in front of it.
੩ਤਦ ਸ਼ਹਿਜ਼ਾਦੇ, ਦੀਵਾਨ, ਸਰਦਾਰ, ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ, ਭੰਡਾਰੀ, ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ, ਕਪਤਾਨ ਤੇ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਉਸ ਮੂਰਤ ਦੀ ਚੱਠ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਨਬੂਕਦੱਨਸਰ ਨੇ ਖੜੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਮੂਰਤ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੇ ਖੜੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ।
4 Then a herald announced in a loud voice, “People of all nations and languages, pay attention to the king's command!
੪ਤਦ ਇੱਕ ਢੰਡੋਰੀਏ ਨੇ ਉੱਚੀ ਹਾਕ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ, ਹੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਹੇ ਕੌਮੋ, ਹੇ ਭਾਖਿਓ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ ਭਈ
5 As soon as you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, trigon, harp, pipes, and all kinds of musical instruments, you must fall to the ground and worship the gold statue that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up.
੫ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ, ਬੰਸਰੀ, ਬੀਨਾਂ, ਸਾਰੰਗੀ, ਬਰਬਤ, ਬੀਨ ਤੇ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੋ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੇ ਖੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਝੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕੋ!
6 Anyone who doesn't immediately fall down and worship will be thrown into a furnace of blazing fire.”
੬ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਝੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਨਾ ਟੇਕੇ ਉਸੇ ਘੜੀ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਬਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਭੱਠੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
7 So when all the people heard the sound of the musical instruments they all fell down—the people of all nations and languages worshiped the gold statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
੭ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ, ਬੰਸਰੀ, ਬੀਨਾਂ, ਸਾਰੰਗੀ, ਬਰਬਤ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਪਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੀ ਤਦ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ, ਕੌਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਭਾਖਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਝੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੇ ਖੜੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ।
8 Right then some of the astrologers came forward and made accusations against the Jews.
੮ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਕਈ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ।
9 They said to King Nebuchadnezzar, “May Your Majesty the king live forever!
੯ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੇ ਰਾਜਾ, ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੋ!
10 Your Majesty has decreed that everyone who hears the sound of the musical instruments shall fall down and worship the gold statue,
੧੦ਹੇ ਰਾਜਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਜੋ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ, ਬੰਸਰੀ, ਬੀਨਾਂ, ਸਾਰੰਗੀ, ਬਰਬਤ, ਬੀਨ ਤੇ ਹਰ ਪਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੇ ਤਾਂ ਝੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕੇ
11 and that anyone who does not shall be thrown into a furnace of blazing fire.
੧੧ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਝੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਨਾ ਟੇਕੇ ਉਹ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਬਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਭੱਠੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
12 But there are some Jews that you placed in charge of the province of Babylon—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—who pay no attention to Your Majesty's decree. They do not serve your gods and will not worship the gold statue you set up.”
੧੨ਹੁਣ ਕਈ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਹਨ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਹਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸ਼ਦਰਕ, ਮੇਸ਼ਕ, ਤੇ ਅਬੇਦਨਗੋ, ਇਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ, ਹੇ ਰਾਜਾ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਆਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਨਾ ਉਸ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
13 This made Nebuchadnezzar absolutely furious. “Bring me Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego!” he demanded. So they were brought before the king.
੧੩ਤਦ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਅਤੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਗਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਦਰਕ, ਮੇਸ਼ਕ, ਤੇ ਅਬੇਦਨਗੋ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਕਰੋ! ਤਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
14 “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, are you deliberately refusing to serve my gods and worship the gold statue I set up?” asked the king.
੧੪ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਸ਼ਦਰਕ, ਮੇਸ਼ਕ ਤੇ ਅਬੇਦਨਗੋ, ਕੀ ਇਹ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਉਸ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਖੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਦੇ ਹੋ?
15 “Are you ready now to fall down and worship the statue I had made when you hear the sound of the musical instruments? If you don't, you will be immediately thrown into the furnace of blazing fire, and there's no god who can save you from my power!”
੧੫ਹੁਣ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤੁਰੀ, ਬੰਸਰੀ, ਬੀਨਾਂ, ਸਾਰੰਗੀ, ਬਰਬਤ, ਬੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਝੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਮੂਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਖੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕੋ ਤਾਂ ਚੰਗਾ, ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੱਥਾ ਨਾ ਟੇਕੋ ਤਾਂ ਉਸੇ ਘੜੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਬਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਭੱਠੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਜਾਓਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਛੁਡਾ ਲਵੇ?
16 “King Nebuchadnezzar, we don't need to defend ourselves before you over this,” Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied.
੧੬ਤਦ ਸ਼ਦਰਕ, ਮੇਸ਼ਕ, ਅਤੇ ਅਬੇਦਨਗੋ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ, ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
17 “If our God whom we serve so wishes, he is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire. He will save us from your power, Your Majesty.
੧੭ਸਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਬਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਭੱਠੀ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੇ ਰਾਜਾ, ਓਹੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਵੇਗਾ,
18 But even if he does not, Your Majesty needs to know that we would never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”
੧੮ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਹੇ ਰਾਜਾ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਉਸ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਅੱਗੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਾਂਗੇ।
19 This made Nebuchadnezzar so angry with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego that his face twisted in rage. “Make the furnace seven times hotter than normal!” he ordered.
੧੯ਤਦ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਦਾ ਰੰਗ ਸ਼ਦਰਕ, ਮੇਸ਼ਕ, ਤੇ ਅਬੇਦਨਗੋ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਦਲ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਭੱਠੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਸਤੂਰ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਗੁਣਾ ਹੋਰ ਗਰਮਾ ਦਿਓ।
20 Then he commanded some of his strongest soldiers, “Tie up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and throw them into the furnace of blazing fire!”
੨੦ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤਕੜੇ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਦਰਕ, ਮੇਸ਼ਕ, ਤੇ ਅਬੇਦਨਗੋ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਬਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਭੱਠੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਣ।
21 So they were tied up, fully dressed in their coats, trousers, turbans, and other clothes, and thrown into the furnace of blazing fire.
੨੧ਤਦ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ, ਕੁੜਤਿਆਂ, ਪਗੜੀਆਂ, ਪਜਾਮਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਲੀੜਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਬਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਭੱਠੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਗਏ।
22 Because the king's command was so harsh in making the furnace so extremely hot, the flames killed the soldiers who threw them in.
੨੨ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਸੀ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਭੱਠੀ ਦਾ ਤਾਇਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਅੱਤ ਵਧੀਕ ਸੀ, ਇਸੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਲੋ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਦਰਕ, ਮੇਸ਼ਕ, ਤੇ ਅਬੇਦਨਗੋ ਦੇ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ।
23 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, still tied up, fell into the furnace of blazing fire.
੨੩ਇਹ ਤਿੰਨੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸ਼ਦਰਕ, ਮੇਸ਼ਕ, ਤੇ ਅਬੇਦਨਗੋ ਬੱਧੇ ਹੋਏ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਬਲਦੀ ਭੱਠੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਗਏ।
24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar suddenly jumped up in amazement. “Didn't we throw three men tied up into the furnace?” he asked his advisors. “Yes, that's right, Your Majesty,” they replied.
੨੪ਤਦ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੱਕਾ-ਬੱਕਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਝੱਟ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗਾ, ਕੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁੱਟਵਾਇਆ? ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਹਾਂ ਰਾਜਾ, ਇਹ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ।
25 “Look!” he cried out. “How is it that I can see four men, not tied up, walking around in the fire and not being burned? And the fourth one looks like a god!”
੨੫ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਭਈ ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਚਾਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਦਾ ਸਰੂਪ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ!
26 Nebuchadnezzar went towards the door of the furnace of blazing fire. “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!” he shouted. So Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the fire.
੨੬ਫਿਰ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਬਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਭੱਠੀ ਦੇ ਬੂਹੇ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਇਆ। ਉਹ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਹੇ ਸ਼ਦਰਕ, ਮੇਸ਼ਕ, ਤੇ ਅਬੇਦਨਗੋ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਬੰਦਿਓ, ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਕੇ ਐਧਰ ਆਓ! ਤਦ ਸ਼ਦਰਕ, ਮੇਸ਼ਕ, ਤੇ ਅਬੇਦਨਗੋ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਆਏ।
27 The provincial governors, prefects, local governors, and the king's advisors gathered around them and saw that the fire had not harmed them. Their hair wasn't singed, their clothes weren't scorched—there wasn't even the smell of smoke!
੨੭ਸ਼ਹਿਜਾਦਿਆਂ, ਦੀਵਾਨਾਂ, ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਿੱਠਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਗ ਦਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਵੱਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਚੱਲਿਆ, ਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਲ਼ ਝੁਲਸੇ, ਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਝੱਗਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਜਲਣ ਦੀ ਬੋ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਸੀ।
28 Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel and he rescued his servants who trusted in him! They disobeyed my royal command, putting their lives on the line, and refused to worship any other gods except their God.
੨੮ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੇ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਦਰਕ, ਮੇਸ਼ਕ, ਤੇ ਅਬੇਦਨਗੋ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਿਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਟਾਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਂਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਜਾਂ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ।
29 Consequently I am issuing a decree that if anyone of any nation or language speaks disrespectfully about the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego they will be torn to pieces and their houses will be destroyed. There is no other God who is able to save like this!”
੨੯ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਭਾਖਿਆਂ ਸ਼ਦਰਕ, ਮੇਸ਼ਕ, ਤੇ ਅਬੇਦਨਗੋ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕੋਈ ਬੁਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਆਖਣਗੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੁੱਕੜੇ-ਟੁੱਕੜੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਕੂੜੇ ਦੇ ਢੇਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇਸ ਪਰਕਾਰ ਬਚਾ ਸਕੇ!
30 Then Nebuchadnezzar promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, giving them even greater responsibilities in the province of Babylon.
੩੦ਤਦ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਦਰਕ, ਮੇਸ਼ਕ, ਤੇ ਅਬੇਦਨਗੋ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
