< Daniel 11 >
1 And I myself, in the first year of Darius the Mede, took my stand to support and defend him.
Keivang, Michael vantil kom’a kading jing in, Meok mi Darius lengchan kal kum masapen’a pat’a, ama pandetna ding leh hatsahna ding’a kigo jing kahi.
2 So now let me reveal the truth to you. There are still three kings to come to power in Persia, and then a fourth who will be far richer than all the others. When he becomes strong through his wealth, he will rally the whole kingdom against Greece.
Tua hi, keiman naheng’a thudih chu ka phondoh ding ahi. Vetan, Persiate leng thumtah hung lendoh’a, vai ahinpoh ding, chujou leh leng li na pa vang chu, leng masaho sanga nasa tah’a haojo cheh ding ahi. Aman ahaona leh athahatna mangcha-a amitakip atildoh ding chuleh Greek lenggam chung’a gal asat ding ahi.
3 Then a mighty king will come to power. He will rule with great authority and do whatever he wants.
Chuteng leh, leng hattah khat hung umdoh kit ding, aman thuneitah’a lengvai apoh ding, anop nop abol ding ahi.
4 But as he extends his power his kingdom will be broken up, divided towards the four winds of heaven. It will not go to his descendants, and it will not be ruled as he ruled. It will be pulled up and given to others.
Amavang, athahat athunei laitah’a, alenggam hungkeh ding, chuleh alenggam chu hopli kiso ding ahi. Ama son le chilhah hilou hon lengvai apoh ding, ahinlah, aman thuneitah’a vai apohlai bang’a, amahon thahat leh thuneina aneilou ding’u ahi. Ajeh chu alengvaipohna chu ajunga kibotdoh’a, midang kipedoh ahitai.
5 The king of the south will grow strong, but one of his officers will grow even stronger and will rule his kingdom with great authority.
Chutah leh, lhanglam lengpa hung hatdoh ding, amavang, ama sepai lamkai ho lah’a chu, mikhat ama sang’a hung thaneijo ding chuleh alenglam’a chu hu-ham tah’a vai ahinhop ding ahi.
6 Some years later they will form an alliance, and the daughter of the king of the south will be married to the king of the north to guarantee the peace treaty. However, she will not be able to keep her hold on power, nor will his power continue. She and her attendants will be betrayed, along with her child and husband. Later on, however,
Kum phabep jou leh sahlam lengpa leh lhanglam lengpa, hung kihoutoh’a chamna khat asemdoh lhon ding ahi. Kihou chamna suhdetna dinga lhanglam lengpan achanu chu sahlam lengpa jiding a apeh ding. Hijongleh, amanun thuneina ima anei joulou ding chuleh apan jong chutima-a koima athunun jou dehlou ding ahi. Chuleh amanu chu anungjui ho leh apan khompi ho jouse toh kisugam ding ahiuve.

Hijongleh, amanu inkote khat chu lhanggam’a leng hung chang ding, aman asepai tamtah toh sahlam lengpa kulpi anokhum’a asat ding chuleh ajo ding ahi.
8 In addition he will take back with him to Egypt the idols of their gods, along with their expensive vessels of silver and gold. For some years he will leave the king of the north alone.
Ama Egypt gam’a akilekit teng, amaho doilim semthu jouse apoh mang ding, chuleh sana leh dangka-a kisem thil manlu tampi jong apohmang tha ding ahi. Chujou teng, kum phabeppi sung’a sahlam lengpa chu kisatpi talouva amachang adalhah ding ahi.
9 Then the king of the north will march into the kingdom of the king of the south but will have to retreat to his own land.
Chujou tengleh, sahlam lengpa chu lhanggam lengpa gamsung’a hung lut’a gal ahin sat khum ding ahi. Hijongleh ama agam lang’a kinungle kitloi ding ahi.
10 However, his sons will prepare for war, assembling a huge number of troops. One of them will lead an advance that rushes forward like a river bursting its banks, crossing over and pressing forward to attack the enemy fortress.
Ahivangin, sahlam lengpa chapaten sepai tampi asem dohkit diu, asepaiho chutoh twisoh bang’a hamgei guija lhanggam lengpa kulpi geija, gal asat khum ding ahi.
11 This will infuriate the king of the south, who will go out into battle against the large army assembled by the king of the north and will defeat it.
Chutahleh lhanggam lengpa chu lungsa doh ding, sahlam lengpa sepai ho chutoh kisat ding chuleh aman agalmite chu abon’a ajosoh hel ding ahi.
12 After capturing such a large army, he will become very proud, and will kill thousands. But this triumph will not last long.

13 Years later the king of the north will once again raise an army, even larger than before, and will invade with this huge army, accompanied by plenty of supplies.
Ajeh chu kum phabep jouleh sahlam lengpan jong amasa sang’a tamjo sepai akhop kitding, asepaiho chutoh thil ijakai ninglhing set’a hung konsuh kit ding ahi.
14 At the same time many will rebel against the king of the south. Violent men from your own people will rebel in order to fulfill this vision, but they shall fail.
Hichepet hileh, agamsung mipi tamtah'in lhanggam lengpa chu adou diu ahi. Chuleh hiche gaova nathilmu chengse hi aguilhunna ding’a, namite lah’a pumhat jeng’a thilbol mihon jong lengpa douna gal asat dingu ahi. Hijong leh amahon gal chu ajo lou diu ahibouve.
15 Then the king of the north will come and build siege ramps and he will capture a city with strong defenses. The forces of the south will not be able to prevent it—even his best troops won't be able to resist the attack.
Chutah leh, sahlam lengpa chu hungkon intin, dettah’a pal kikaikhum kulpi umna khopi jeng jong anokhum’a alahding ahi. Hiche phatleh, lhanglam gam’a sepai ahatlai lai ho jeng jong amasanga pang joulou diu ahi, ajeh chu ama nan jou nading tha anei lou diu ahitai.

17 He will be determined to come with all the power of his kingdom and will make a peace treaty with the king of the south. To secure this he will give him a daughter of women to marry in order to destroy the kingdom. But she will not be successful and will not support him.
Aman alenggam thahatna pumpi chutoh hungkon’a, lhanggam lengpa toh kimaito’a kihouchamna agonding ahi. Chuleh aman alenggam suhmang peh nading a achanu chu lhanggam lengpa ji dinga agon ding, ahivanga, athilgon ho abon’a losam ding ahi.
18 Then he will turn to attack the coastlands and will conquer many, but a commander will put a stop to his arrogant behavior, paying him back for it.
Hiche ban’a chu, aman twikhanglen pang’a gamho ahin lunglutpi ding, gal abolkhum kit ding chuleh khopi tampi alah ding ahi. Ahivang in, gamdang sepai lamkai khat in, hichea hi, lengpa kiloupisahna ho chu achaina ahin semding chuleh jumleh ja thoh’a akinungle sah ding ahi.

20 His successor will send out a tax collector to maintain royal wealth. However, in a short time he will die, but not violently or in battle.

21 A contemptible person will follow him who will not be given royal majesty. He will take over peacably and assume control of the kingdom through deception.
Ama ban’a hi, duhdah lou migilou khat, lengpa son leh chilhah jong hilou khat, lengvaipo’a hung pang ding ahi. Aman alep lep’a thu asei ding chuleh duha thutah’a thilgon aneiding, mihon agellou pettah’a, lenggam thaneina chu alah ding ahi.

Ama masang’a sepai tamtah kitheh ngim ding, kisumang hel ding chuleh kitepna leng chapa geija kisumang ding ahi.
23 After making an alliance with him, he will act deceptively. He will come to power peacably, becoming strong though only having a few supporters.
Aman jouleh nal aseija kitepna abol ding, chuleh kichamna tampi asemdoh ding ahi.
24 He will invade the richest parts of the land and do what his fathers and forefathers never did—he will distribute plunder, spoil, and possessions. He will make plans to attack fortresses, but only for a time.
Gihsalna neimasa louva, gamsunga leipha laipen munho aholdoh ding, apu apaten anabol khah louhel abol ding ahi. 40 At the time of the end the king of the south will attack him. But the king of the north will retaliate with force like a storm, with chariots and horsemen and many ships. He will advance, sweeping through many lands.
