< Amos 8 >

1 This is what the Lord God showed me. I saw a basket of fruit.
Hagi Hankavenentake Ra Anumzamo'a ete mago'ane ava'nagnaza naveri hige'na koana, uzate'nea zafaragamo'za ekaeka kupina avite'za me'nazage'na ke'noe.
2 He asked me, “What do you see, Amos?” I said, “A basket of fruit.” Then the Lord told me, “This is the end of my people Israel! I won't ignore their sins anymore.
Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a nantahigeno, Amosiga na'a negane hige'na, uzate'nea zafa ragamo'za eka eka kupina avite'za me'nazage'na negoe hugeno, Ra Anumzamo'a huno, Israeli vahe'mo'za knazama eri'nagura e'inahukna hu'za ko uzate'nazanki'na, ame hu'na knazana zamina zamazeri havizana hugahue.
3 On that day the Temple songs will become sorrowful wailing. There will be dead bodies scattered everywhere. Silence!” declares the Lord.
Hagi ana knafina, ra mono nompima muse zagame'ma nehaza zana atre'za zamasunku zagame hu'za zavi krafa hugahaze. Na'ankure fri vahe zamavufagamo'za mika kaziga umase emase hugahaze. Hagi ana vahera kumamofo fegu'a eri'za ometre ometre hugahaze, hu'na Nagra maka'zama kegava hu'noa Ra Anumzamo'na nehue.
4 Listen to this, you who trample down the needy, and wipe out the poor of the land.
Hagi zamunte omane vahe'mokizmi zama kumazafa neseta, nanazanku'ma atupama hu'naza vahe'ma knazama nezamiza vahe'mota, kama antahiho.
5 You who ask, “When will the holy day be over so we can get back to selling grain? When will the Sabbath be over so we can open our storehouses, and cheat people with short measures and unfair scales?”
Hagi tamagragura amanage nehaze, inanknare kasefa ikante'ma ne'zama kreta neneta, musema nehu'na knamo'a ome vagarenigeta, havigea huta witia zagorera ome atregahune huta nehaze. Anage nehuta mani fruma nehuna Sabati knamo'a vagarenigeta nezantia zagore ome atregahune huta nehaze. Tamagra zamunte omane vahe'ma rezamavatagama hanagu ko ete nevaze. Hagi witi raga ne'zama refakoma hunakura, knarera huta refako osuta, havige huta osi'a zante ra zago agi ahezmantage'za mi'zana nesaze.
6 You buy the poor for silver, the needy for a pair of sandals, and you sell grain mixed with chaff.
Hagi witima zagore'ma atre'naku'ma nehuta hona'a mopafinti zogita eri havia huta netraze. Hagi zamunte'ma omane vahe'ma kazokzo eri'za vahe'ma zamavareneta, mizazmia mago silva zago zamige, aga ano zamige nehaze.
7 The Lord God, of whom the descendants of Jacob are so proud, has sworn an oath: I will never forget the evil you have done.
Hagi Hankavenentake Ra Anumzamo'a huvempa huno, tamagra Jekopu naga'mota hu'naza kefo tamavu'tamava zankura nagera akani oramantegahue.
8 Shall not the land tremble because of this, and everyone who lives there mourn? The earth will rise up like the Nile river in flood, be tossed around, and then fall again.
Hagi e'inama haza zamofontera mopamo'a momi hanigeno, miko vahe'mo'za zavi krafa hugahaze. Hagi mopamo'a Naeli timo'ma hageno vazi zore'noma eviaza huno ome ra huteno, ete ome uramiankna hugahie.
9 On that day, declares the Lord God, I will make the sun go down at noon, and darken the land during the daytime.
Hagi Hankavenentake Ra Anumzamo'a huno, Ananknafina Nagra feru kopi zagea huntenugeno ame huno unefrena, masa me'nenifi ame hu'na eri hani hugahue.
10 I will turn your festivals into times of mourning, your happy songs into laments. I will make you wear sackcloth and shave your heads. I will make your mourning like that for an only son. At the end of it all it will be a bitter day.
Hagi musenkasema nehaza zana eri rukrahe hanena, zavi krafa hugahaze. Hagi tamasunku kukena nehuta, tamazokara vazagategahaze. Hagi magoke mofavrema frinege'za nehazaza huta zavira ategahaze. Hagi ana kna, e'i kefo knarafa fore hugahie.
11 The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will send a famine on the land—not a famine of bread, or a lack of water, but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord.

12 People will wander from sea to sea, from north to east, running to and fro searching for the word of the Lord, but they will not find it.
Hagi Anumzamofo nanekegura hake'za hagerima ome atre emetre'ma hutegane, noti kazigane, sauti kaziganena vu'za e'za hugahazanagi, hake'za eri forera osugahaze.
13 On that day, even the beautiful girls and healthy young men will collapse from thirst.
Hagi ana knafina knare'nare mofa'nanene, kasefa nehazavemo'zanena Anumzamofo kema antahizankura tinkuma hiaza huza tusiza nehanageno zamavu evu evu hanige'za traka huza masegahaze.
14 Those who swear by the disgraceful idols of Samaria, who take oaths like, “By the life of your god, Dan,” or “A pilgrimage to the god of Beersheba”—they will fall, and never rise again.
