Acts 5
1 Now a man called Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold some property.
၁သို့ရာတွင်အာနနိ နှင့် ရှဖိရေ အမည် ရှိသော လင်မယားနှစ်ယောက်တို့မူကား၊ ဥစ္စာ တစ်စုံတစ်ခုကို ရောင်း ပြီးလျှင်၊
2 He kept back some of the money he received for himself, and brought the rest to present to the apostles. His wife knew what he was doing.
၂ထိုသူသည် မိမိခင်ပွန်း နှင့်သဘောတူ လျက်၊ အဘိုး တဘို့ကို ထိမ်ဝှက် သဖြင့်၊ တ ဘို့ကိုသာယူဆောင်ခဲ့၍ တမန်တော် တို့၏ ခြေ ရင်း၌ ထား လေ၏။
3 Then Peter asked him, “Ananias, why did you let Satan convince you to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back some of the money from the land you sold?
၃ပေတရု ကလည်း၊ အာနနိ ၊ သင် သည်သန့်ရှင်း သော ဝိညာဉ် တော်ကို လှည့်စား ၍၊ မြေ ကိုရောင်းသော အဘိုး ၏တဘို့ကိုထိမ်ဝှက် မည် အကြောင်း၊ စာတန် သည် သင် ၏စိတ် နှလုံးကို အဘယ်ကြောင့် ပြည့် စေ ရသနည်း။
4 While you had the land, didn't it belong to you? And after you sold it, didn't you still have control over what you did with the money? Why did you decide to do this? You haven't lied to human beings, but to God!”
၄ထို မြေရှိ စဉ်တွင် ကိုယ် ပိုင် သည် မဟုတ်လော။ ရောင်း ၍ရသော အဘိုးသည် ကိုယ် ဥစ္စာဖြစ် သည် မဟုတ်လော။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဤသို့ ကြံစည်သနည်း။ လူ ကိုသာ မုသာ ပြောပြီမ ဟုတ်၊ ဘုရားသခင် ကိုလည်း မုသာပြောပြီဟု ပေတရုဆို ၏။
5 Hearing these words, Ananias fell down and died. Everyone who heard what happened was terrified.
၅ထိုစကား ကိုကြား လျှင် ၊ အာနနိ သည်လဲ ၍ သေ ၏။ ထိုအကြောင်းအရာကို ကြား သောသူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် အလွန် ကြောက်လန့် ခြင်း သို့ရောက် ကြ၏။
6 Some of the young men got up and wrapped him in a shroud. Then they carried him out and buried him.
၆လုလင် တို့သည်လည်းထ ၍ အလောင်း ကောင်ကို အဝတ်နှင့် ပတ်ရစ် ပြီးလျှင် ဆောင်သွား ၍ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ကြ၏။
7 About three hours later his wife arrived, not knowing what had happened.
၇ထိုနောက် သုံး နာရီ ခန့် လောက်ကြာ လျှင်၊ သူ ၏ ခင်ပွန်း သည် ဖြစ် ခဲ့ပြီးသော အမှုအရာကို မ သိ ဘဲလျက် ဝင်လာ ၏။
8 Peter asked her, “Tell me, did you sell the land for this price?” “Yes, that was the price,” she replied.
၈ပေတရု ကလည်း၊ ဤမျှလောက် နှင့်မြေ ကိုရောင်း သလော၊ ငါ့ အားပြော လောဟုမေး လျှင်၊ ထိုမိန်းမက၊ ဟုတ် ပါ၏။ ဤမျှလောက် နှင့်ပင် ရောင်းပါသည်ဟုဆို ၏။
9 Then Peter told her, “How could you agree together to swindle the Spirit of the Lord? Look, those who buried your husband are just returning, and they'll carry you out too!”
၉ပေတရု ကလည်း ၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ဝိညာဉ် တော်ကို စုံစမ်း မည်ဟု သဘောတူ နှင့် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ကြံစည်ကြသနည်း။ ကြည့်ရှု လော့။ သင် ၏ ခင်ပွန်း ကို သင်္ဂြိုဟ် သော သူ တို့၏ခြေ သည်တံခါး နားမှာ ရှိသည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ သင့် ကိုလည်းဆောင်သွား လေဦးမည်ဟု ဆိုသော ခဏခြင်း တွင်၊
10 Immediately she fell down dead at his feet. The young men came back in and found her dead, so they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.
၁၀ထိုမိန်းမသည်ပေတရု ၏ ခြေ ရင်း၌ လဲ ၍ သေ လေ၏။ လုလင် တို့ သည်လည်းဝင် ၍ ထိုမိန်းမ သေ သည်ကိုတွေ့ လျှင် ၊ ဆောင်သွား ၍သူ ၏ ခင်ပွန်း အနားမှာ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ကြ၏။
11 Great fear spread through the whole church, as well as among everyone who heard what had happened.
၁၁သင်းဝင်သူ အပေါင်း မှစ၍ထိုအကြောင်း အရာ ကို ကြား ရသော သူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် အလွန် ကြောက်လန့် ခြင်းသို့ ရောက် ကြ၏။
12 Many miraculous signs were performed among the people by the apostles. All the believers used to meet together in Solomon's porch.
၁၂တမန်တော် တို့သည်လည်း လူ များရှေ့ မှာ နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာ၊ အံ့ဘွယ် သော အမှုအရာများ ကိုပြု ကြ၏။ ထိုသူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ရှောလမုန် ကနားပြင် ၌ တစ် ညီတစ်ညွတ်တည်း နေ ကြသဖြင့်၊
13 Nobody else dared to join them even though they were greatly respected.
၁၃ကြွင်း သော သူတစ်စုံတစ်ယောက် မျှ မပေါင်းဖော် ဝံ့ သော်လည်း ၊ လူ များတို့သည် ကောင်းကြီး ပေးကြ၏။
14 However, many men and women came to believe in the Lord.
၁၄သခင် ဘုရား၌ ယုံကြည် သော ယောက်ျား ၊ မိန်းမ ၊ အပေါင်း တို့သည် သင်းဝင်ကြ၏။
15 As a result, people brought those who were sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that as Peter passed by his shadow might fall on them.
၁၅ပေတရု သည် လမ်း၌ ရှောက်သွား စဉ်၊ အနာစွဲသောသူတို့တွင် တစ်ယောက်ယောက်ကို သူ ၏အရိပ် လွှမ်းမိုး စေခြင်းငှာ ၊ လူနာ တို့ကိုလမ်း နား သို့ထုတ် ၍ ခုတင် မွေ့ရာ ပေါ်မှာ ထား ကြ၏။
16 Crowds from the towns around Jerusalem brought their sick and those afflicted by evil spirits. They were all healed.
၁၆ပတ်လည် ဝန်းကျင်၌ရှိသော မြို့သူ ရွာသားအပေါင်း တို့သည် အနာ စွဲသောသူ၊ နတ် ဆိုး ညှဉ်းဆဲ သော သူတို့ကို ဆောင်ခဲ့ လျက်၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သို့ စုဝေး လာကြ၍ ၊ ထိုလူနာ အပေါင်း တို့သည် အနာကင်းလွတ် ခြင်းသို့ရောက်ကြ၏။
17 However, the high priest and those with him (who were Sadducees) became very jealous and decided to intervene.
၁၇ထိုအခါယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် မင်းနှင့် ဇဒ္ဒုကဲ ဖြစ် သော ထိုမင်း ၏ အပေါင်းအဖော် ရှိသမျှ တို့သည် ထ ၍ ဒေါသ အမျက်နှင့် ပြည့် ကြသဖြင့်၊
18 They arrested the apostles and threw them in the public jail.
၁၈တမန်တော် တို့ကိုဘမ်းဆီး ၍ ထောင် ထဲ၌ လှောင်ထား ကြ၏။
19 But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and led them out.
၁၉ညဉ့် အခါ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ ကောင်းကင်တမန် သည် ထောင် တံခါး ကိုဖွင့် ပြီးလျှင်၊ ထိုသူ တို့ကိုနှုတ်ဆက်၍၊ သင်တို့သွား ကြလော့။
20 “Go to the Temple and tell the people everything about this new way of life!” he told them.
၂၀ဗိမာန် တော်၌ ရပ် ၍ အသက် ရှင်ခြင်း တရား စကားအလုံးစုံ ကို လူ များတို့အား ဟောပြော ကြလော့ဟု မှာထား ၏။ ထို စကားကိုကြား လျှင်၊ နံနက် စောစော ဗိမာန် တော်သို့ ဝင် ၍ ဆုံးမ ဩဝါဒပေးကြ၏။
21 They did as they were told and went into the Temple at around dawn and began teaching. Then the high priest and his followers called a council meeting with all the leaders of Israel. He sent for the apostles to be brought from prison.
၂၁ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် မင်းနှင့် သူ ၏ အပေါင်းအဖော်တို့သည် လာ ကြသဖြင့် ၊ လွှတ် အရာရှိမှစ၍ ဣသရေလ လူ တို့တွင် အသက်ကြီး သော သူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို စုဝေး စေပြီးမှ၊ တမန်တော် တို့ကိုခေါ် စေခြင်းငှာလုလင် တို့ကို ထောင် သို့ စေလွှတ် ကြ၏။
22 But when the officials went to the prison they couldn't find the apostles so they went back and told the council,
၂၂မင်းလုလင် တို့သည် ထောင်သို့ရောက် လျှင်၊ တမန်တော် တို့ကို ထောင် ထဲမှာ မ တွေ့ သည်ရှိသော် ပြန် ကြ၍၊
23 “We found the prison all locked up, with guards at the doors. But when we had them open up, we couldn't find anyone inside.”
၂၃ထောင် တံခါးလည်းအထူးသဖြင့်လုံခြုံ စွာ ပိတ် လျက် ၊ ထောင်ကို စောင့် သော သူ တို့လည်း တံခါး ပြင်မှာ ရပ် လျက်ရှိကြသည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ သည်တွေ့ ပါ၏။ ဖွင့် ပြီးမှ အထဲ ၌အဘယ်သူ ကိုမျှမတွေ့ ပါဟု ကြားလျှောက် ကြ၏။
24 Now when the captain of the Temple guards and the chief priests heard this they were totally baffled, and wondered what was going on.
၂၄ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မင်းနှင့် ဗိမာန် တော်မှူး အစ ရှိသော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အကြီးတို့သည် ထို စကား ကို ကြား လျှင်၊ ထိုအမှု သည် အဘယ်သို့ သောအမှု ဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်နည်းဟူ၍တွေးတော ခြင်းရှိကြ၏။
25 Then someone came in and said, “Look, the men you put in prison are right there in the Temple teaching people!”
၂၅ထိုအခါလူတစ် ယောက်သည်လာ ၍ ထောင် ထဲမှာ လှောင် ထား သောသူ တို့သည် ဗိမာန် တော်၌ ရပ် လျက် ၊ လူ များတို့အား ဆုံးမ ဩဝါဒပေးကြပါသည်ဟု လျှောက် လေ၏။
26 So the captain went with his guards and brought them in, but did not use force because they were afraid that the people would stone them.
၂၆ထိုအခါ ဗိမာန်တော်မှူး သည် မင်း လုလင်တို့နှင့်အတူသွား ပြန်လျှင်၊ မိမိတို့ကို လူ များတို့သည် ကျောက်ခဲနှင့်ပစ် မည်ကိုစိုးရိမ် သောကြောင့် ၊ တမန်တော် တို့ကို အနိုင် အထက်မ ပြုဘဲ ခေါ်ဆောင် လေ၏။
27 The apostles were brought in and made to stand in front of the council.
၂၇ထိုသို့ ခေါ်ဆောင် ပြီးလျှင်၊ လွှတ် အရာရှိတို့ ရှေ့ မှာထား ၍ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် မင်းက၊
28 “Didn't we order you not to teach in this name?” the high priest demanded to know. “Now look—you've filled the whole of Jerusalem with your teaching, and you're trying to blame us for his death!”
၂၈ထို နာမ ကို အမှီပြု ၍မ ဆုံးမ မသွန်သင်မည် အကြောင်း ငါတို့သည်သင် တို့အား၊ ကျပ်တည်း စွာ စီရင် မှာထားသည်မ ဟုတ်လော။ ယခု ကြည့် ကြ။ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့ကို သင် တို့အယူဝါဒ နှင့် ပြည့် စေသည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ ငါ တို့အပေါ်သို့ ထို သူ ၏အသွေး ကိုရောက် စေခြင်းငှာသင်တို့ ကြံစည် ပါသည် တကားဟုမေးမြန်း ပြောဆို ကြ၏။
29 But Peter and the apostles answered, “We have to obey God rather than men.
၂၉ပေတရု နှင့် အခြားသော တမန်တော် တို့ကလည်း၊ လူ ၏စကားထက် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ စကားကို နားထောင် သင့် ပါ၏။
30 The God of our forefathers raised Jesus from the dead—the one you killed by hanging him on a cross.
၃၀သင် တို့သည် သစ် တိုင်၌ ဆွဲ ၍ ကွပ်မျက် သော ယေရှု ကို ငါ တို့ ဘိုးဘေး များ၏ ဘုရားသခင် သည် ထမြောက် စေတော်မူပြီ။
31 God exalted him to a position of honor at his right hand as Prince and Savior, as a way to bring repentance to Israel, and for the forgiveness of sins.
၃၁ဣသရေလ လူတို့အား နောင်တ တရားနှင့် အပြစ် လွှတ် ခြင်း အခွင့်ကိုပေး စေခြင်းငှာ၊ ထို သူကို အစိုးရသောအရှင် အရာ၌၎င်း ၊ ကယ်တင် သော သခင် အရာ၌၎င်း၊ ဘုရားသခင် ခန့်ထား၍ မိမိ လက်ျာ လက်တော်နှင့် ချီးမြှင့် တော်မူပြီ။
32 We are witnesses of what happened, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”
၃၂ထို အကြောင်း အရာတို့သည် အမှန်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ကို ငါ တို့သည် သက်သေခံ ဖြစ် ကြ၏။ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ စကားတော်ကို နားထောင် သော သူ တို့အား ပေး သနား တော်မူသော သန့်ရှင်း သော ဝိညာဉ် တော်သည်လည်း သက်သေခံဖြစ်တော်မူသည်ဟု ပြောဆို ကြ၏။
33 When the council heard this they were furious and wanted to kill them.
၃၃ထိုစကားကိုကြား လျှင်၊ ထိုသူ တို့နှလုံးသည် ကွဲပြတ် မတတ်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ တမန်တော် တို့ကို ကွပ်မျက် ခြင်းငှာအချင်းချင်း တိုင်ပင်ပြောဆိုကြ၏။
34 But then one of the council members stood up to speak. He was Gamaliel, a Pharisee and a doctor of law who was respected by everyone. He ordered the apostles sent out for a short while.
၃၄ထိုအခါ လူ အပေါင်း တို့ရိုသေ သောသူ၊ ဂါမလျေလ အမည် ရှိသောနိဿရည်း ဆရာ၊ ဖာရိရှဲ တစ် ယောက်သည် လွှတ်တော် ပေါ်၌ ထ ၍၊ တမန်တော် တို့ကို ပြင် သို့ခဏ ထွက်စေပြီးလျှင်၊
35 Gamaliel addressed the council: “Leaders of Israel, be careful what you plan to do to these men.
၃၅ဣသရေလ လူ တို့၊ ဤ သူ တို့အား အဘယ်သို့ ပြု မည်အရာ ကို သတိ နှင့်ဆင်ခြင်ကြလော့။
36 Some time ago Theudas tried to make a name for himself, and about four hundred men joined him. He was killed and all who followed him were scattered and it came to nothing.
၃၆အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ အထက် က သုဒ အမည်ရှိသောသူတစ်ယောက်သည်ထ သဖြင့်၊ ငါ သည်လူ သာမည မဟုတ်ဟု ဆို သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သူ ၌ လူ လေးရာ မျှလောက် ဆည်းကပ် ကြ၏။ ထိုသူ သည် ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက် ၍ သူ့ ကိုယုံကြည် သမျှ သော သူတို့သည် ကွဲပြား ပျောက်ပျက်ကြ၏။
37 Then after him Judas of Galilee came along at the time of the census, and he attracted some followers. He also died, and those who listened to him were dispersed.
၃၇ထိုသူနောက်ငွေတော်ခွဲစဉ် ကာလ ၊ ယုဒ အမည် ရှိသောဂါလိလဲ လူတစ်ယောက်သည်လည်းထ ၍၊ မိမိ နောက် သို့လူ များကိုသွေးဆောင် လေ၏။ ထိုသူ သည်လည်း ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ရောက်၍ ၊ သူ့ ကိုယုံကြည် သမျှ သောသူတို့သည် ပျောက်လွင့် ကြ၏။
38 So in the current case I recommend that you leave these men alone, and just let them go. If what they are planning or what they are doing comes from their own human thinking, then it will be defeated.
၃၈ယခု လည်းဤသူ တို့ကို ရှောင်ရှား ၍ အလိုအလျောက် ရှိကြ ပါစေဟု ငါဆို၏ ။ ဤ အကြံဤအမှုသည် လူ ၏ အကြံ လူ၏အမှု ဖြစ်လျှင် ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။
39 But if it comes from God, you won't be able to defeat them. You could even find yourselves fighting against God!”
၃၉ဘုရားသခင် ၏အကြံအမှုဖြစ် လျှင် သင် တို့သည် မ ဖျက်ဆီး နိုင်ကြ။ သင်တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ အာဏာတော်ကို ဆန်သောသူမ ဖြစ် မည်အကြောင်း သတိပြုကြ လော့ဟု ပြောဆို၏။
40 They were convinced by what he said. So they called the apostles back in, had them whipped, and ordered them not to say anything in the name of Jesus. Then they let them go.
၄၀ထို စကားကို နားထောင် ကြသဖြင့်၊ တမန်တော် တို့ကိုခေါ် ၍ ရိုက်နှက် ပြီးမှ၊ ယေရှု ၏နာမ ကို အမှီပြု လျက် မ ဟော မပြောမည်အကြောင်း တားမြစ် ထား၍ လွှတ် ကြ ၏။
41 The apostles left the council, happy to be considered worthy to suffer shame for the name of Jesus.
၄၁တမန်တော်တို့သည်လည်း၊ သခင်ယေရှု၏ နာမ တော်ကြောင့် မိမိတို့သည် အရှက်ကွဲ ခြင်းကို ခံထိုက် ကြသည်ဟု မှတ်တော်မူသောကြောင့် ဝမ်းမြောက် သော စိတ်ရှိ၍ လွှတ်တော် မှ ထွက်သွား ကြ၏။
42 Every day they continued to teach and proclaim Jesus as the Messiah, in the Temple and from house to house.
၄၂ဗိမာန် တော်၌ ၎င်း ၊ အိမ် ၌၎င်း နေ့တိုင်း အစဉ် ဆုံးမ သွန်သင်လျက် ၊ ယေရှု သည်ခရစ်တော် ဖြစ်၏ဟူ၍ဧဝံဂေလိတရားကို မ ပြတ် ဟောပြော လျက်နေကြ၏။
