Acts 28
1 When we were safe ashore, we discovered that we were on the island of Malta.
୧କାଇଟା ନ ଅଇ, କଣ୍ଡିପାଲି ଜାଇ ଦେକ୍ଲୁ ଜେ, ଆମେ ମେଲିତି ନାଉଁର୍ ଚାରିବେଟ୍ତି ପାନିର୍ ମଜାଇ ରଇବା ସୁକ୍ଲା ଜାଗାଇ କେଟିଆଚୁ ।
2 The people there were very kind—they started a fire and called all of us over so we could warm up from the rain and the cold.
୨ତେଇ ପୁର୍ବେଅନି ରଇବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଆମ୍କେ ଆଲାଦ୍ ଦେକାଇଲାଇ, ସେବେଲେ ବର୍ସା ମାରି ସିତ୍ ଅଇତେ ରଇଲା । ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ସେମନ୍ ଆମ୍କେ ଜଇ ଲାଗାଇ ଗତିଆ ମାନ୍ଲାଇ ।
3 Paul collected a bundle of firewood and threw it on the fire. But a poisonous snake was driven out of the bundle because of the heat and bit him, fastening itself on his hand.
୩ପାଉଲ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ବିଡା ଦାରୁ ଜଇତେଇ ପାକାଇବା ବେଲେ ଜଇ ତାତିର୍ ଲାଗି ବିଡାଇଅନି ଗଟେକ୍ ବିସ୍ରଇବା ସାଁପ୍ ବାରଇଲା ଆରି ପାଉଲର୍ ଆତେ ଚଗି ଚାବି ଡସିରଇଲା ।
4 When the people there saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to each other, “This man must be a murderer. Even though he escaped death from the sea, Justice won't let him live.”
୪ସେ ଜାଗାର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ପାଉଲର୍ ଆତେ ଚାବିକରି ଡସି ଜୁଲ୍ତେ ରଇବା ସାଁପ୍କେ ଦେକି ତାକର୍ ତାକର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ କୁଆବଲା ଅଇଲାଇ, “ଏ ବାଇଦରେ ଗଟେକ୍ ନର୍ମାରୁ ଲକ୍, ସେ ଜାଇଟା ମିସା ଅ ବେ, ସେ ସମ୍ଦୁରେ ରକିଆ ପାଇରଇଲେ ମିସା ତାର୍ କରମ୍ ତାକେ ବଁଚ୍ବାକେ ନ ଦେଏ ।”
5 However, Paul shook the snake off into the fire, and suffered no ill-effects.
୫ମାତର୍ ପାଉଲ୍ ତାର୍ ଆତ୍ ଜିଞ୍ଜାଡ୍ଲାକେ ସାଁପ୍ ଜଇତେଇ ଅଦର୍ଲା ଆରି ତାକେ କାଇଟା ଅଏନାଇ ।
6 They were expecting him to swell up, or suddenly fall down dead. But after waiting a long time, they saw that nothing bad had happened to him so they changed their minds and decided he must be a god.
୬ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ପାଉଲର୍ ଆତ୍ ପୁଲିଜାଇସି ନଇଲେ ଅଟାତ୍ ଅଦ୍ରି ମରିଜାଇସି ବଲି ଜାଗିରଇଲାଇ, ମାତର୍ ବେସି ପର୍ ଜାଗିକରି ଦେକ୍ଲାଇ ମିସା ତାକେ କାଇଟା ଅଏ ନାଇ । ପଚେ ସେମନ୍ କାତା ପାସ୍ଲାଇକରି କଇଲାଇ “ଏ ଗଟେକ୍ ଦେବ୍ତା!”
7 Nearby were lands that belonged to Publius, the chief official of the island. He welcomed us and looked after us for three days very hospitably.
୭ତେଇଅନି ଅଲପ୍ ଦୁରିକେ ସେ ଜାଗାର୍ ମୁକିଅ ନେତା, ତାର୍ ନାଉଁ ପବ୍ଲିଅ । ତାର୍ କେତେଟା ପଦା ରଇଲା, ସେ ଆମ୍କେ ଗତିଆ ମାନିକରି ଡାକିନେଲା । ଆରି ଆମେ ତିନ୍ ଦିନ୍ ଜାକ ତାକର୍ ଗରେ ଗତିଆ ଅଇ ରଇଲୁ ।
8 Now Publius' father was sick, lying in bed suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went in to see him, and prayed for him, placed his hands on him, and healed him.
୮ସେବେଲେ ପବ୍ଲିଅସର୍ ବାବା ଜର୍ ଆରି ରକତ୍ଜାଡା ଦାରାଇଅଇ ଡୁଲିରଇଲା । ପାଉଲ୍ ତାକର୍ ବାକ୍ରାଇ ଜାଇ ତାର୍ପାଇ ପାର୍ତନା କରି ତାର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ଆତ୍ ଚିଇ ତାକେ ନିମାନ୍କଲା ।
9 After this happened, everyone else who was sick on the island came and was healed.
୯ଏ ଗଟ୍ନା ପଚେ ସେ ଜାଗାର୍ ଜେତ୍କି ରଗିମନ୍ ସବୁ ପାଉଲର୍ ଲଗେ ଆସି ନିମାନ୍ ଅଇଲାଇ ।
10 They presented us with many gifts, and when we had to sail they provided everything we needed for the voyage.
୧୦ସେମନ୍ ଆମ୍କେ ବେସି ବିନ୍ ବିନ୍ ରକାମର୍ ଜିନିସ୍ ଇନାମେ ଦେଲାଇ ଆରି ଆମେ ତେଇଅନି ଜାଜେ ବସି ଜିବାବେଲେ ସେମନ୍ ଆମର୍ପାଇ ଦର୍କାର୍ ରଇଲା ସବୁ ଜିନିସ୍ ଜାଜେ ଆନି ଦେଲାଇ ।
11 After a three month stay we set sail aboard a ship from Alexandria having a figurehead of the Heavenly Twins that had spent the winter at the island.
୧୧ସେ ଜାଗାଇଅନି ବାରଇବାକେ ଆମ୍କେ ତିନ୍ମାସ୍ ଲାଗ୍ଲା । ସିତ୍ଦିନ୍ ଅଇରଇଲାକେ ତବିର୍ଅଇଲା ଆଲେକ୍ଜାଣ୍ଡ୍ରିଆ ନଅରେଅନି ଆସିରଇବା ଗଟେକ୍ ଜାଜେ ଆମେ ବାରଇଲୁ । ସେ ଜାଜର୍ ନାଉଁ ରଇଲା ଜଁଲି ଦେବ୍ତା ।
12 We stopped at Syracuse, and spent three days there.
୧୨ପର୍ତୁମ୍ ସିର୍କୁସ୍ ନାଉଁର୍ ନଅରେ କେଟି ତେଇ ତିନ୍ଦିନ୍ ରଇଲୁ ।
13 From there we sailed on to Rhegium. The following day a south wind blew, and on the second day we arrived at the port of Puteoli,
୧୩ତେଇଅନି ଆରି ତରେକ୍ ଜିବାଟା ଆରାମ୍ କରି ଆମେ ରେଜିଅମ୍ ସଅରେ କେଟ୍ଲୁ । ତାର୍ ଆର୍କର୍ ଦିନେ ଦକିଣ୍ ଦିଗେଅନି ପବନ୍ ଆଇଲା ଆରି ଦୁଇଦିନ୍ ପଚେ ପୁତେଅଲି ସଅରେ କେଟ୍ଲୁ ।
14 where we discovered some believers. They asked us to stay with them for a week. So we came to Rome.
୧୪ତେଇ କେତେଟା ଜିସୁକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବା ବାଇମନ୍କେ ମିସ୍ଲୁ । ତାକର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଆଟ୍ ରଇବାକେ ସେମନ୍ ଆମ୍କେ ବାବୁଜିଆ କଲାଇ । ସାରାସାରିପଚେ ଆମେ ରମ୍ ଦେସେ ଜାଇ କେଟ୍ଲୁ ।
15 When some of the believers from Rome heard we had arrived they came to meet us at the Forum of Appius and the Three Taverns. When Paul saw them, he was thankful to God and much encouraged.
୧୫ଆମେ ଗାଲା କବର୍ ସୁନିକରି ରମ୍ ଦେସର୍ ବିସ୍ବାସି ବାଇମନ୍ ତେଇଅନି ଆପିଅ ଜାଗାର୍ ଆଟେ ଆରି ତିନ୍ସରା ନାଉଁର୍ ନଅର୍ମନ୍ ଜାକ ଆମ୍କେ ବେଟ୍ ଅଇବାକେ ଇଣ୍ଡି ଇଣ୍ଡି ଆଇଲାଇ । ସେମନ୍କେ ଦେକି ପାଉଲ୍ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ଦନିଅବାଦ୍ ଦେଲା ଆରି ବେସି ସାର୍ଦା ଅଇଲା ।
16 When we entered Rome, Paul was permitted to stay under house arrest with a soldier to guard him.
୧୬ଆମେ ରମ୍ ଦେସେ କେଟ୍ଲା ପଚେ ପାଉଲ୍କେ ଗଟେକ୍ ସନିଅ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଗରେ ରଇବାକେ ଆଦେସ୍ ମିଲ୍ଲା ।
17 Three days later Paul invited the Jewish leaders there to come to see him. When they were all together he told them, “Brothers, even though I had not done anything wrong against the people or the customs of our forefathers, I was arrested in Jerusalem and handed over to the Roman authorities.
୧୭ତିନ୍ ଦିନ୍ ପଚେ ପାଉଲ୍ ସେ ଜାଗାର୍ ଜିଉଦି ନେତାମନ୍କେ ଗଟେକ୍ ସବା କର୍ବାକେ କବର୍ ପାଟାଇଲା । ସେମନ୍ ଆସି ରୁଣ୍ଡ୍ଲାଇକେ ପାଉଲ୍ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ଏ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର୍ ବାଇମନ୍, ମୁଇ ଆମର୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ବିରୁଦେ କି ଆମର୍ ଆନିଦାଦିମନର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ସିକିରଇବା ରିତିନିତି ବିରୁଦେ କିଚି କରିନାଇ, ଏଲେ ମିସା ଜିରୁସାଲାମର୍ ଜିଉଦିମନ୍ ମକେ ଦାରି ବନ୍ଦିଗରେ ପୁରାଇ ରମିଅମନ୍କେ ସର୍ପିଦେଲାଇ ।
18 After they had interrogated me they wanted to release me because I had done nothing that warranted execution.
୧୮ମକେ ପାଚାର୍ ଉଚାର୍ କଲା ପଚେ ମରନ୍ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାଇବା ଏତ୍କି କାଇ ଅପ୍ରାଦ୍ କରେ ନାଇ ବଲି ଜାନ୍ଲାଇ । ପଚେ ରମିଅ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ମକେ ମୁକ୍ଲାଇବାକେ ମନ୍ କର୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ ।
19 But the Jewish leaders opposed this, so I was forced to appeal to Caesar—not that I had any accusations against my own people.
୧୯ମାତର୍ ଜିଉଦି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ମକେ ଚାଡ୍ବାକେ ରାଜି ଅଅତ୍ନାଇ । ତେବେ ମର୍ ନିଜର୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ବିରୁଦେ ମର୍ କାଇ ଦାବି ନ ରଇଲା ମିସା, ମୁଇ ବଡ୍ସାସନ୍କାରିଆକେ ଗୁଆରି କର୍ବି ଆକା ବଲି ବାବ୍ଲି ।
20 That's why I asked to see you, and talk to you, because it is on account of the hope of Israel that I am chained up like this.”
୨୦ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ଏ ବିସଇ କାତାବାର୍ତା ଅଉଁ ବଲି ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ ଡାକାଇ ଆଚି । ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଏବେ ଜାକେ ଆସା କରି ଆଇଲାଇନି, ତାର୍ପାଇ ବଲିକରି ମୁଇ ଆଜି ସିକ୍ଲି ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବାନ୍ଦାଇ ଅଇଆଚି ।”
21 “We have not received any letters from Judea about you, and none of our people have come here with reports against you or to speak badly of you,” they told him.
୨୧ସେମନ୍ କଇଲାଇ, “ଆମ୍କେ ଜିଉଦା ଦେସେଅନି ତମର୍ ବିସଇ କାଇ ଚିଟି ଗଟେକ୍ ମିସା ମିଲେ ନାଇ, କି ବାଇମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି କେ ମିସା ଇତି ଆସି ତମର୍ ବିସଇର୍ ବୁଲ୍ କାତା ସୁନାଅତ୍ ନାଇ କି କଅତ୍ ମିସା ନାଇ ।
22 “But we do want to hear from you what you believe—especially regarding this sect, which we know is condemned everywhere.”
୨୨ମାତର୍ ତମେ କାଇଟା ବଲି ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାସ୍ନି, ସେଟା ତମର୍ଟାନେଅନି ଆମେ ସୁନ୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କଲୁନି । କାଇକେବଇଲେ, ଗୁଲାଇବାଟର୍ ଲକ୍ ତମର୍ ଦଲ୍ ବିରୁଦେ କାତା ଅଇଲାଇନି ।”
23 They made an appointment to meet with him. On that day many people came to where he was staying. From morning till night Paul was explaining to them, telling them about the kingdom of God. He tried to convince them about Jesus using the writings of the law of Moses and the prophets.
୨୩ସେମନ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ଦିନ୍ ଟିକ୍ କଲାଇ ଆରି ଟିକ୍ କଲା ଦିନେ ସେମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି ବେସି ଲକ୍ ପାଉଲ୍ ରଇବା ଜାଗାଇ ଆଇଲାଇ । ପାଉଲ୍ ସେମନ୍କେ ସାକାଲେଅନି ସଞ୍ଜ୍ଜାକ ପରମେସର୍ ରାଇଜ୍ ବିସଇ ବୁଜାଇଦେଲା ଆରି ମସାର୍ ରିତିନିତି ଆରି ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତାମନ୍ ଲେକ୍ଲା ସାସ୍ତରର୍ ବାକିଅ ଦେକାଇକରି ଜିସୁର୍ ବିସଇ ବୁଜାଇଲା ।
24 Some accepted what Paul said, but some refused to believe.
୨୪ତେଇ କେତେ ଲକ୍ ପାଉଲ୍ କଇଲା କାତା ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାଇ, ମାତର୍ କେତେ ଲକ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରତ୍ ନାଇ ।
25 They couldn't agree among themselves, and they left after Paul told them this: “The Holy Spirit said it well through Isaiah the prophet to your forefathers,
୨୫ତେବେ ତାକର୍ ତାକର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଦଦାପେଲା ଅଇକରି ବାରଇ ଉଟିଗାଲାଇ । ପାଉଲ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ କାତା କଇଲା, ସୁକଲ୍ ଆତ୍ମା ତମର୍ ଆନିଦାଦିମନ୍କେ ଜିସାୟ ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତାର୍ ଡଣ୍ଡେଅନି ସତ୍ କାତା କଇରଇଲା!
26 ‘Go to these people and tell them: Even though you hear, you won't ever understand, and even though you see, you won't ever comprehend.
୨୬ସେ କଇରଇଲା, “ଏ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଜାଇ କଅ, ତମେ ସୁନି ସୁନି ରଇସା, ମାତର୍ ନ ବୁଜାସ୍ । ଦେକି ଦେକି ରଇସା, ମାତର୍ ନ ଚିନାସ୍ ।”
27 For the minds of these people have become calloused and hard, their ears cannot hear, their eyes are shut, in case they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and understand with their minds, and might come back to me and I would heal them.’
୨୭କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ଏ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ମନ୍ ବେସି ଆଁଟ୍, ସେମନ୍ ନିଜର୍ ନିଜର୍ ଆଁକି ଲିମିଦେଇ ଆଚତ୍ ଆରି କାନ୍ ଚୁଟି ଦେଇ ଆଚତ୍, ସେମନ୍ ଜଦି ଆଁକି ଦେକ୍ତାଇ, ଆରି ଚୁଟି ଅଇଲା କାନ୍ ଉଗାଡି ସୁନ୍ତାଇ । ସେନ୍ତାର୍ ଆଲେ ସେମନ୍ ମନେ ମନେ ବୁଜ୍ତାଇ । ଆରି ସେମନ୍ ମର୍ଲଗେ ବାଅଡ୍ତାଇ ଆରି ମୁଇ ସେମନ୍କେ ନିକ କର୍ତି । ଏଟା ପରମେସର୍ କଇଲାନି ।
28 Consequently you should know that this salvation that comes from God has been sent to the foreigners and they will listen.”
୨୮ସାରାସାରିପଚେ ପାଉଲ୍ କଇଲା “ତେବେ ପରମେସରର୍ ମୁକ୍ତି ଜିଉଦିନଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ପାଇ ଆଇଲା ଆଚେ । ଏଟା ତମେ ଜାନିରୁଆ, ସେମନ୍ ମିସା ସେଟା ମାନ୍ବାଇ ।”
୨୯ପାଉଲ୍ ଏ ସବୁ କାତା କଇଲାକେ, ଜିଉଦିମନ୍ ନିଜର୍ ନିଜର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଦଦାପେଲା ଅଇଅଇକରି ଉଟିଗାଲାଇ ।
30 For two full years Paul stayed there in the house he rented, welcoming everyone who came to see him.
୩୦ପାଉଲ୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଗର୍ ବାଡାକରି ତେଇ ଦୁଇ ବରସ୍ ଜାକ ରଇଲା ଆରି ତାକେ ଦେକ୍ବାକେ ଆଇଲା ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ତେଇ ଗତିଆ ମାନ୍ତେରଇଲା । ଜେତ୍କି ଲକ୍ ପାଉଲର୍ ଲଗେ ଆଇତେ ରଇଲାଇ ସେ ସବୁ ଲକ୍କେ ଡାକି, କାକେ ନ ଡର୍ତେ କଲା ।
31 He spoke of the kingdom of God, and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ very boldly. No one prevented him.
୩୧ଆରି ତାକେ କେ ମିସା ତେବାଅତ୍ ନାଇ । ସେ ପରମେସରର୍ ରାଇଜ୍ ବିସଇ ଜାନାଇକରି ମାପ୍ରୁ ଜିସୁକିରିସ୍ଟର୍ ବିସଇ ସିକିଆ ଦେଇତେରଇଲା ।
