2 Kings 15
1 Azariah, son of Amaziah, became king of Judah in the twenty-seventh year of the reign of Jeroboam, king of Israel.
၁ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ယေရောဗောင် နန်းစံ နှစ်ဆယ် ခုနစ် နှစ် တွင်၊ “
2 He was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem for fifty-two years. His mother's name was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.
၂ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် အာမဇိ သား ဩဇိ သည် အသက် တဆယ် ခြောက် နှစ်ရှိ သော် ၊ နန်း ထိုင်၍ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ ငါးဆယ် နှစ် နှစ် စိုးစံ လေ၏။ မယ်တော် ကား ၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သူယေခေါလိ အမည် ရှိ၏
3 He did what was right in the Lord's sight, just as his father Amaziah had done.
၃ထိုမင်းသည် ခမည်းတော် အာမဇိ ပြု သမျှ အတိုင်း ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ တရား သောအမှုကို ပြု ၏
4 But the high places were not removed. The people still were sacrificing and presenting burnt offerings in those places.
၄သို့ရာတွင် မြင့် သောအရပ်တို့ကို မ ပယ်ရှား သောကြောင့် ၊ လူ တို့သည် ထိုအရပ် တို့၌ ယဇ် ပူဇော်၍ နံ့သာပေါင်းကို မီးရှို့ ကြ၏
5 The Lord touched the king and he had leprosy until the day he died. He lived in isolation in a separate house. His son Jotham was in charge of the palace and was the country's actual ruler.
၅ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဒဏ်ခတ် တော်မူသဖြင့် ၊ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် သေ သည်တိုင်အောင် နူနာ စွဲ ၍ ခြားနား သော နန်း ၌ နေ ရ၏။ သားတော် ယောသံ သည် နန်းတော် ကို အုပ်၍ နိုင်ငံတော်မှုကို စီရင် ရ၏

၆ဩဇိ ပြုမူသော အမှု အရာကြွင်း လေသမျှ တို့သည် ယုဒ ရာဇဝင် ၌ ရေးထား လျက်ရှိ၏
7 Azariah died and was buried with his fore fathers in the City of David. His son Jotham succeeded him as king.
၇ဩဇိ သည် ဘိုးဘေး တို့နှင့် အိပ်ပျော် ၍ ၊ သူ တို့နှင့်အတူ ဒါဝိဒ် မြို့ ၌ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ခြင်းကိုခံ လေ၏။ သား တော်ယောသံ သည် ခမည်းတော် အရာ ၌ နန်း ထိုင်၏
8 Zechariah, son of Jeroboam, became king of Israel in the thirty-eighth year of the reign of Azariah, king of Judah. He reigned in Samaria for six months.
၈ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဩဇိ နန်းစံ သုံးဆယ် ရှစ် နှစ် တွင် ၊ ယေရောဗောင် သား ဇာခရိ သည် ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ မင်းပြု၍ ဣသရေလ နိုင်ငံကို စိုးစံ၏
9 He did what was evil in the Lord's sight, as his forefathers had done. He did not end the sins that Jeroboam, son of Nebat, had made Israel commit.
၉ထိုမင်းသည် ဘိုးဘေး ပြု သည်အတိုင်း ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက် ကိုပြု ၍ ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ပြစ်မှား စေသောနေဗတ် သား ယေရောဗောင် ၏ ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ် တို့ကို မ စွန့် ဘဲနေ၏
10 Then Shallum, son of Jabesh, plotted against Zechariah. He attacked him, murdering him in front of the people, and took over as king.
၁၀ယာဖက် သား ရှလ္လုံ သည် ဇာခရိ မင်းတဘက် ၌ သင်းဖွဲ့ ၍ လူ များရှေ့ မှာ သေ အောင်လုပ်ကြံ ပြီးလျှင် သူ ၏ အရာ ၌ နန်း ထိုင်၏

၁၁ဇာခရိ ပြုမူသော အမှု အရာကြွင်း လေသမျှတို့ သည် ဣသရေလ ရာဇဝင် ၌ ရေးထား လျက်ရှိ၏
12 In this way what the Lord told Jehu came true: “Your descendants will sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.”
၁၂ထိုသို့ ထာဝရဘုရား က၊ သင် ၏ သား မြေးလေး ဆက်တိုင်အောင် ဣသရေလ နိုင်ငံရာဇပလ္လင် ပေါ် မှာ ထိုင် ရမည်ဟု ယေဟု အား မိန့် တော်မူသော စကား တော် ပြည့်စုံ သတည်း
13 Shallum, son of Jabesh, became king in the thirty-ninth year of the reign of King Uzziah of Judah. He reigned in Samaria for one month.
၁၃ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဩဇိ နန်းစံသုံးဆယ် ကိုး နှစ် တွင် ရှလ္လုံ သည် နန်း ထိုင်၍ ၊ ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ တလ စိုးစံ လေ၏
14 Then Menahem, son of Gadi, went from Tirzah to Samaria, attacked and murdered Shallum, son of Jabesh, and took over as king.
၁၄ဂါဒိ သား မေနဟင် သည် တိရဇ မြို့မှ ရှမာရိ မြို့ သို့သွား ၍ ၊ ယာဖက် သား ရှလ္လုံ ကိုသေ အောင် လုပ်ကြံ ပြီးလျှင် ၊ သူ ၏အရာ ၌ နန်း ထိုင်၏

၁၅ရှလ္လုံ ပြုမူသောအမှု အရာကြွင်း လေသမျှတို့နှင့် သင်းဖွဲ့ ခြင်းအရာသည် ဣသရေလ ရာဇဝင် ၌ ရေးထား လျက်ရှိ၏
16 At that time Menahem, starting from Tirzah, attacked Tiphsah and the region nearby, because they would not surrender the town to him. So he destroyed Tiphsah and ripped open all the pregnant women.
၁၆ထိုအခါ မေနဟင် သည် တိဖသ မြို့နှင့် မြို့သား များ၊ တိရဇ မြို့ အလွန်တိဖသမြို့ နယ်များတို့ကို လုပ်ကြံ ၏။ မြို့တံခါးကို သူ့အား မ ဖွင့် သောကြောင့် လုပ်ကြံ ၍ ကိုယ်ဝန် ဆောင်သော မိန်းမအပေါင်း တို့၏ ဝမ်းကို ခွဲ လေ၏
17 Menahem, son of Gadi, became king of Israel in the thirty-ninth year of the reign of King Azariah of Judah. He reigned in Samaria for ten years.
၁၇ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဩဇိ နန်းစံသုံးဆယ် ကိုး နှစ် တွင် ၊ ဂါဒိ သား မေနဟင် သည် နန်းထိုင် ၍ ၊ ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ ဣသရေလ နိုင်ငံကို ဆယ် နှစ် စိုးစံလေ၏
18 Throughout his reign he did what was evil in the Lord's sight. He did not end the sins that Jeroboam, son of Nebat, had made Israel commit.
၁၈ထိုမင်းသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက် ကိုပြု ၍ ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ပြစ်မှား စေသော နေဗတ် သား ယေရောဗောင် ၏ ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ် တို့ကို မ စွန့် ဘဲ နေ၏
19 Pul, king of Assyria, invaded the country. Menahem paid Pul a thousand talents of silver to support Menahem in consolidating his power over the kingdom.
၁၉အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် ပုလ သည် ဣသရေလပြည် ကို တိုက်လာ ၏။ မေနဟင် သည် မိမိ အာဏာ တည် စေမည် အကြောင်း ၊ ပုလ မင်းမစစေခြင်းငှါ၊ ငွေ အခွက် တသောင်း ကို ဆက် ရ၏
20 Menahem demanded payment from all the wealthy men of Israel, fifty shekels of silver each, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria retreated and did not stay in the country.
၂၀အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် အား ဆက် စရာဘို့ ၊ မေနဟင် သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၌ ငွေ ခွဲ ၍ ၊ ရ တတ်သော သူတိုင်း အကျပ် ငါးဆယ် စီပေးရ၏။ ထိုကြောင့် အာရှုရိ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် မ နေ ၊ မိမိပြည် သို့ ပြန်သွား၏

22 Menahem died, and his son Pekahiah succeeded him as king.
၂၂မေနဟင် သည် ဘိုးဘေး တို့နှင့် အိပ်ပျော် ၍ ၊ သား တော်ပေကဟိ သည် ခမည်းတော် အရာ ၌နန်းထိုင် ၏
23 Pekahiah, son of Menahem, became king of Israel in Samaria in the fiftieth year of the reign of King Azariah of Judah, and he reigned for two years.
၂၃ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဩဇိ နန်းစံငါးဆယ် တွင် ၊ မေနဟင် သား ပေကဟိ သည် နန်းထိုင် ၍၊ ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ ဣသရေလ နိုင်ငံကို နှစ် နှစ်စိုးစံလေ၏
24 He did what was evil in the Lord's sight. He did not end the sins that Jeroboam, son of Nebat, had made Israel commit.
၂၄ထိုမင်းသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက် ကိုပြု ၍ ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကိုပြစ်မှား စေသော နေဗတ် သား ယေရောဗောင် ၏ ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ် တို့ကို မ စွန့် ဘဲ နေ၏
25 Pekah, son of Remaliah, one of his officers plotted against him together with Argob, Arieh, and fifty men from Gilead. Pekah attacked and killed Pekahiah in the fortress of the king's palace in Samaria, and took over as king.
၂၅အမှုတော်ထမ်းတပ်မှူး ၊ ရေမလိ သား ပေကာ သည် ပေကဟိ မင်းတဘက် ၌ သင်းဖွဲ့ ၍ ၊ အာဂေါဘ နှင့် အရေဟ အစရှိသော ဂိလဒ် ပြည်သား ငါးကျိပ် ပါ လျက်၊ ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ နန်းတော် ထဲမှာ သေ အောင်လုပ်ကြံ ၍ သူ ၏ အရာ ၌ နန်းထိုင် ၏

27 Pekah, son of Remaliah, became king of Israel in the fifty-second year of the reign of King Azariah of Judah. He reigned in Samaria for twenty years.
၂၇ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဩဇိ နန်းစံငါးဆယ် နှစ် နှစ် တွင် ၊ ရေမလိ သား ပေကာ သည် နန်း ထိုင်၍ ရှမာရိ မြို့၌ ဣသရေလ နိုင်ငံကို အနှစ် နှစ်ဆယ် စိုးစံလေ၏
28 He did what was evil in the Lord's sight. He did not end the sins that Jeroboam, son of Nebat, had made Israel commit.
၂၈ထိုမင်းသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဒုစရိုက် ကိုပြု ၍ ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို ပြစ်မှား စေသော နေဗတ် သား ယေရောဗောင် ၏ ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ် တို့ကို မ စွန့် ဘဲနေ၏
29 During the reign of Pekah, king of Israel, Tiglath-pileser, king of Assyria, invaded and captured Ijon, Abel-beth-maacah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead, Galilee, and all the land of Naphtali, and he took the people to Assyria as prisoners.
၂၉ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ပေကာ လက်ထက် ၊ အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် တိဂလတ် ပိလေသာသည်လာ ၍ ဣယုန် မြို့၊ အဗေလ ဗက်မာခါမြို့၊ ယာနော မြို့၊ ကေဒေရှ မြို့၊ ဟာဇော် မြို့နှင့်တကွ ဂိလဒ် ပြည်၊ ဂါလိလဲ ပြည်၊ နဿလိ ပြည် သားအပေါင်း တို့ကို လုပ်ကြံ၍၊ အာရှုရိ ပြည်သို့ သိမ်းသွား ၏
30 Then Hoshea, son of Elah, plotted against Pekah, son of Remaliah. In the twentieth year of the reign of Jotham, son of Uzziah, Hoshea attacked Pekah, killed him, and took over as king.
၃၀ဩဇိ သား ယောသံ နန်းစံနှစ်ဆယ် တွင် ၊ ဧလာ သား ဟောရှေ သည် ရေမလိ သား ပေကာ မင်းတဘက်၌ သင်းဖွဲ့ ၍ သေ အောင်လုပ်ကြံ ပြီးမှ ၊ သူ ၏အရာ ၌ နန်းထိုင် ၏

32 Jotham, son of Uzziah, became king of Judah in the second year of the reign of Pekah son of Remaliah, king of Israel.
၃၂ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ရေမလိ သား ပေကာ နန်းစံ နှစ် နှစ် တွင် ၊ ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဩဇိ သား ယောသံ သည် အသက်နှစ်ဆယ်ငါးနှစ်ရှိသော်နန်းထိုင်၍၊”
33 He was twenty-five when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem for sixteen years. His mother's name was Jerusha, daughter of Zadok.
၃၃ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ ဣသရေလနိုင်ငံကို တဆယ် ခြောက် နှစ် စိုးစံ လေ၏။ မယ်တော် ကား၊ ဇာဒုတ် သမီး ယေရုရှာ အမည် ရှိ၏
34 He did what was right in the Lord's sight, just as his father Uzziah had done.
၃၄ထိုမင်း သည် ခမည်းတော် ဩဇိ ကျင့် သမျှ အတိုင်း ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ တရား သော အမှုကို ပြု ၏
35 But the high places were not removed. The people still were sacrificing and presenting burnt offerings in those places. He rebuilt the upper gate of the Lord's Temple.
၃၅သို့ရာတွင် မြင့် သောအရပ်တို့ကို မ ပယ်ရှား သောကြောင့် ၊ လူ တို့သည် ထိုအရပ် တို့၌ ယဇ် ပူဇော်၍ ၊ နံ့သာပေါင်းကိုမီးရှို့ ကြ၏။ ထို မင်းသည် ဗိမာန် တော်အထက် တံခါး ကို လုပ် လေ၏

37 During that time the Lord started sending Rezin, king of Aram, and Pekah, son of Remaliah, to attack Judah.
၃၇ထိုကာလ တွင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် ရေဇိန် နှင့် ရေမလိ သား ပေကာ ကို ယုဒ ပြည်သို့ စေလွှတ် တော်မူ၏
38 Jotham died and was buried with his forefathers in the City of David, his ancestor. His son Ahaz succeeded him as king.
၃၈ယောသံ သည် ဘိုးဘေး တို့နှင့် အိပ်ပျော် ၍ ၊ သူတို့နှင့်အတူ အဘ ဒါဝိဒ် မြို့ ၌ သင်္ဂြိုဟ် ခြင်းကိုခံလေ၏။ သား တော်အာခတ် သည် ခမည်းတော် အရာ ၌ နန်းထိုင် ၏
