2 John 1
1 This letter comes from the elder to the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in the truth. Not just from me, but from everyone who knows the truth,
Der Aelteste an die auserwählte Herrin und ihre Kinder, die ich liebe in Wahrheit, und nicht ich allein, sondern auch alle, welche die Wahrheit erkannt haben,
um der Wahrheit willen, die in uns wohnt und mit uns sein wird in Ewigkeit: (aiōn g165)
3 May grace, mercy and peace continue to be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and in love.
Es wird mit uns sein Gnade, Erbarmen, Friede von Gott dem Vater und von Jesus Christus dem Sohne des Vaters, in Wahrheit und Liebe.
4 I was delighted to discover that some of your children are following the truth, just as the Father commanded us.
Ich habe große Freude gehabt, weil ich unter deinen Kindern gefunden habe, die in Wahrheit wandeln, wie wir Gebot empfangen haben vom Vater.
5 Now I'm telling you, dear lady, not as a new instruction, but following what we've understood from the beginning, that we should love one another.
Und nun wende ich mich an dich, Herrin, nicht um dir von einem neuen Gebot zu schreiben, sondern von dem welches wir von Anfang hatten: daß wir einander lieben sollen.
6 This is what love is: we should follow God's commands. The command, just as you heard right from the beginning, is that you should live in love.
Und dies ist die Liebe, daß wir nach seinen Geboten wandeln; dies ist das Gebot, wie ihr es von Anfang gehört habt, daß ihr darin wandeln sollet.
7 I'm telling you this because many deceivers have left and gone out into the world. They don't accept that Jesus Christ has come as a human being. Anyone like this is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Denn viele Irrlehrer sind ausgegangen in die Welt, die nicht bekennen Jesus Christus, wie er kommen sollte im Fleische; dies ist der Irrlehrer und der Antichrist.
8 Be careful that you don't lose what we've worked so hard for, and that you receive all that you should.
Sehet euch vor, damit ihr nicht verlieret, was wir geschafft haben, sondern vollen Lohn davon habet.
9 All those who become extremists and don't continue to follow the teaching of Christ don't have God with them. Those who continue to follow the teaching of Christ have both the Father and the Son with them.
Jeder, der darüber hinausgeht und nicht bleibt in der Lehre des Christus, hat Gott nicht; der in der Lehre bleibt, der hat sowohl den Vater als den Sohn.
10 If people come to you and don't show evidence of Christ's teaching, don't take them in, don't welcome them—
Wenn einer zu euch kommt und diese Lehre nicht bringt, so nehmet ihn nicht ins Haus und bietet ihm keinen Gruß;
11 for if you encourage them you share in their evil work.
denn wer ihm den Gruß bietet, der macht sich teilhaftig seiner bösen Werke.
12 I have so many things to tell you that I won't write any more with paper and ink, for I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face. How happy that would make us!
Ich hätte euch viel zu schreiben, wollte es aber nicht mit Papier und Tinte thun, sondern ich hoffe zu euch zu kommen und von Mund zu Mund zu reden, damit unsere Freude vollkommen sei.
