2 Corinthians 2
1 That's why I decided that I would avoid another sad visit with you.
அபரஞ்சாஹம்’ புந: ஸோ²காய யுஷ்மத்ஸந்நிதி⁴ம்’ ந க³மிஷ்யாமீதி மநஸி நிரசைஷம்’|
2 For if I make you sad, who will be there to make me happy? It won't be those I've made sad!
யஸ்மாத்³ அஹம்’ யதி³ யுஷ்மாந் ஸோ²கயுக்தாந் கரோமி தர்ஹி மயா ய: ஸோ²கயுக்தீக்ரு’தஸ்தம்’ விநா கேநாபரேணாஹம்’ ஹர்ஷயிஷ்யே?
3 That's why I wrote what I did, so that I wouldn't be sad over those who should make me happy. I was so sure that all of you would share in my happiness.
மம யோ ஹர்ஷ: ஸ யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ ஹர்ஷ ஏவேதி நிஸ்²சிதம்’ மயாபோ³தி⁴; அதஏவ யைரஹம்’ ஹர்ஷயிதவ்யஸ்தை ர்மது³பஸ்தி²திஸமயே யந்மம ஸோ²கோ ந ஜாயேத தத³ர்த²மேவ யுஷ்மப்⁴யம் ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ பத்ரம்’ மயா லிகி²தம்’|
4 I was crying many tears when I wrote to you, in great anguish and with a heavy heart—not to make you sad, but so you would know how much love I have for you.
வஸ்துதஸ்து ப³ஹுக்லேஸ²ஸ்ய மந: பீடா³யாஸ்²ச ஸமயே(அ)ஹம்’ ப³ஹ்வஸ்²ருபாதேந பத்ரமேகம்’ லிகி²தவாந் யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸோ²கார்த²ம்’ தந்நஹி கிந்து யுஷ்மாஸு மதீ³யப்ரேமபா³ஹுல்யஸ்ய ஜ்ஞாபநார்த²ம்’|
5 Not to put it too strongly, but the person caused more pain to all of you than to me.
யேநாஹம்’ ஸோ²கயுக்தீக்ரு’தஸ்தேந கேவலமஹம்’ ஸோ²கயுக்தீக்ரு’தஸ்தந்நஹி கிந்த்வம்’ஸ²தோ யூயம்’ ஸர்வ்வே(அ)பி யதோ(அ)ஹமத்ர கஸ்மிம்’ஸ்²சித்³ தோ³ஷமாரோபயிதும்’ நேச்சா²மி|
6 This person suffered enough punishment from the majority of you,
ப³ஹூநாம்’ யத் தர்ஜ்ஜநம்’ தேந ஜநேநாலம்பி⁴ தத் தத³ர்த²ம்’ ப்ரசுரம்’|
7 so now you should forgive him and be kind to him. Otherwise he may sink into despair.
அத: ஸ து³: க²ஸாக³ரே யந்ந நிமஜ்ஜதி தத³ர்த²ம்’ யுஷ்மாபி⁴: ஸ க்ஷந்தவ்ய: ஸாந்த்வயிதவ்யஸ்²ச|
8 So I urge you to publicly affirm your love towards him.
இதி ஹேதோ: ப்ரர்த²யே(அ)ஹம்’ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ஸ்தஸ்மிந் த³யா க்ரியதாம்’|
9 That's why I wrote: so I could discoverer your true character and whether you're doing everything you were told to do.
யூயம்’ ஸர்வ்வகர்ம்மணி மமாதே³ஸ²ம்’ க்³ரு’ஹ்லீத² ந வேதி பரீக்ஷிதும் அஹம்’ யுஷ்மாந் ப்ரதி லிகி²தவாந்|
10 Anyone you forgive, I forgive too. What I have forgiven, whatever it may be, I have forgiven before Christ for your benefit.
யஸ்ய யோ தோ³ஷோ யுஷ்மாபி⁴: க்ஷம்யதே தஸ்ய ஸ தோ³ஷோ மயாபி க்ஷம்யதே யஸ்²ச தோ³ஷோ மயா க்ஷம்யதே ஸ யுஷ்மாகம்’ க்ரு’தே க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ஸாக்ஷாத் க்ஷம்யதே|
11 In this way Satan will not be able to take us in, because we know the tricks he thinks up.
ஸ²யதாந: கல்பநாஸ்மாபி⁴ரஜ்ஞாதா நஹி, அதோ வயம்’ யத் தேந ந வஞ்ச்யாமஹே தத³ர்த²ம் அஸ்மாபி⁴: ஸாவதா⁴நை ர்ப⁴விதவ்யம்’|
12 Now when I arrived in Troas to spread the good news of Christ, the Lord opened a door of opportunity for me.
அபரஞ்ச க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ஸுஸம்’வாத³கோ⁴ஷணார்த²ம்’ மயி த்ரோயாநக³ரமாக³தே ப்ரபோ⁴: கர்ம்மணே ச மத³ர்த²ம்’ த்³வாரே முக்தே
13 But my mind wasn't at peace because I couldn't find my brother Titus. So I said goodbye and went over to Macedonia.
ஸத்யபி ஸ்வப்⁴ராதுஸ்தீதஸ்யாவித்³யமாநத்வாத் மதீ³யாத்மந: காபி ஸா²ந்தி ர்ந ப³பூ⁴வ, தஸ்மாத்³ அஹம்’ தாந் விஸர்ஜ்ஜநம்’ யாசித்வா மாகித³நியாதே³ஸ²ம்’ க³ந்தும்’ ப்ரஸ்தா²நம் அகரவம்’|
14 But praise be to God, who always leads us in a triumphal procession in Christ, and reveals through us the sweet scent of his knowledge wherever we go!
ய ஈஸ்²வர: ஸர்வ்வதா³ க்²ரீஷ்டேநாஸ்மாந் ஜயிந: கரோதி ஸர்வ்வத்ர சாஸ்மாபி⁴ஸ்ததீ³யஜ்ஞாநஸ்ய க³ந்த⁴ம்’ ப்ரகாஸ²யதி ஸ த⁴ந்ய: |
15 We are like a fragrance of Christ to God, rising up from among those who are being saved as well as those who are dying.
யஸ்மாத்³ யே த்ராணம்’ லப்ஸ்யந்தே யே ச விநாஸ²ம்’ க³மிஷ்யந்தி தாந் ப்ரதி வயம் ஈஸ்²வரேண க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ஸௌக³ந்த்⁴யம்’ ப⁴வாம: |
16 To those who are dying it is the smell of decay, while to those who are being saved it is the scent of life! But who is up to such an assignment?
வயம் ஏகேஷாம்’ ம்ரு’த்யவே ம்ரு’த்யுக³ந்தா⁴ அபரேஷாஞ்ச ஜீவநாய ஜீவநக³ந்தா⁴ ப⁴வாம: , கிந்த்வேதாத்³ரு’ஸ²கர்ம்மஸாத⁴நே க: ஸமர்தோ²(அ)ஸ்தி?
17 We are not like the majority who trade in the word of God for profit. Quite the opposite: we are sincere in sharing the word of God in Christ, knowing God is watching us.
அந்யே ப³ஹவோ லோகா யத்³வத்³ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய வாக்யம்’ ம்ரு’ஷாஸி²க்ஷயா மிஸ்²ரயந்தி வயம்’ தத்³வத் தந்ந மிஸ்²ரயந்த: ஸரலபா⁴வேநேஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸாக்ஷாத்³ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்யாதே³ஸா²த் க்²ரீஷ்டேந கதா²ம்’ பா⁴ஷாமஹே|
