< 2 Corinthians 2 >
1 That's why I decided that I would avoid another sad visit with you.
Kute aenamue inino mung'waane unene kina singaae nzile hange kitalanyukuuwai.
2 For if I make you sad, who will be there to make me happy? It won't be those I've made sad!
Anga naemumusakeye unyenye uuwai, nyenyu naeuzendoelya unene, kuite yuyu naeulemeigwa nunene?
3 That's why I wrote what I did, so that I wouldn't be sad over those who should make me happy. I was so sure that all of you would share in my happiness.
Aemandikile anga neenitumile nsoko kina itungo nenzile kitalanyu ndeke kuaaligwa nawa naeantendile ndoeligwe. Nketa ugimya kunsoko anyu meehi kina ulowi wane inge ulowi wuwowuwo nemukete unyenye miehi.
4 I was crying many tears when I wrote to you, in great anguish and with a heavy heart—not to make you sad, but so you would know how much love I have for you.
Kunsoko aenumuandekie unye nsoko alwago lukulu, nulwagola nkolo, nukuliholi ledu. Singa aentakile kumusakiilya unye uuwai. Kuleka ite, aendoilwe mulenge uulowa nuamuhati nenukete kunsoko anyu.
5 Not to put it too strongly, but the person caused more pain to all of you than to me.
Ang'wi ukole wehi nusakilye uuwai, singa usakilye kung'wane du, kuite upikeeli unino - singa kueka utaki kukila - kitalanyu unye mehi.
6 This person suffered enough punishment from the majority of you,
Uwu ulamuli wamuntu uyu kuawa needu ukondile.
7 so now you should forgive him and be kind to him. Otherwise he may sink into despair.
Kuite itungo ile kuleka uulamuli, inonee kumusamila nukumupa inkani ninza. Itumi uu nsoko kena waleke kuleng'wa nuukia nuedu.
8 So I urge you to publicly affirm your love towards him.
Kuite ukumutia moyo higeelya uulowa wanyu muegusi kunsoko anyu.
9 That's why I wrote: so I could discoverer your true character and whether you're doing everything you were told to do.
Eye yiyi nsoko nakuandeka, nsoko kina nihume kumugema nukulenga kina ang'wi mukugomba kela ikentu.
10 Anyone you forgive, I forgive too. What I have forgiven, whatever it may be, I have forgiven before Christ for your benefit.
Ange mumusamile wehi, nunene gwa kumusamila umuntu uyo. Ike nekikole kisamile - ang'wi samie keki - kesamiwe kunsailo anyu kuukole nuang'we Kilisto.
11 In this way Satan will not be able to take us in, because we know the tricks he thinks up.
Iyi kena umulugu waleke kutendela uteele. Kunsoko usese singakiapungu. Kumupango wakwe.
12 Now when I arrived in Troas to spread the good news of Christ, the Lord opened a door of opportunity for me.
Umulango aeuluguwe kung'wane nu mukulu naenzile kukesali ka Troa kutanantya inkani ninza niang'wa Kilisto pang'wanso.
13 But my mind wasn't at peace because I couldn't find my brother Titus. So I said goodbye and went over to Macedonia.
Ata uu, aenemugila uupolo nuankolo, kunsoko singa aenumuhongile umuluna wane u Tito pang'wanso. Uu nekaaleka nukusuka ku Makedonia.
14 But praise be to God, who always leads us in a triumphal procession in Christ, and reveals through us the sweet scent of his knowledge wherever we go!
Kuite walumbwe Itunda nai mung'we Kilisto nkua yehi wekutongeela usese muuduli. Kukiila sese kesa palilya unyunki nuuza nua mahala akwe kunkika yehi.
15 We are like a fragrance of Christ to God, rising up from among those who are being saved as well as those who are dying.
Kunsoko usese kung'wi Tunda, inge keunyuki uza nuang'wa Kilisto, ehi muawe neagunilwe nemuawe neakulimeligwa.
16 To those who are dying it is the smell of decay, while to those who are being saved it is the scent of life! But who is up to such an assignment?
Kuantu neakulimeligwa, inge unyunki kupuma nsha sunga insha. Kuawa neakuguneka, inge unyunki nuuza kupuma upana sunga upanga. Nyenyu nukimeka mumaintu aya?
17 We are not like the majority who trade in the word of God for profit. Quite the opposite: we are sincere in sharing the word of God in Christ, knowing God is watching us.
Kunsoko usese singa anga antu neangiza neegulya ulukani lang'wi Tunda kunsailo. Kuleke ite, kuuza nisigo, kuutambula mung'wa Kilisto anga uu nekutumilwe kupuma kung'wi Tunda, ntongeela ang'wi Tunda.
