< 2 Corinthians 10 >
1 This is me Paul, personally appealing to you through Christ's kindness and gentleness, the one who is “shy” when I have to face you but who is “bold” when I'm not there.
Pool, ngah ih, sen lasih jorum hala—sen damdi roongtong hang di mih ih toongtang nyia ese li halang, enoothong haloh ang angdi mithih li halang. Kristo minchan nyia tenthet ih
2 I'm pleading with you, so that the next time I'm with you I won't have to be as tough as I think I'll have to be, boldly dealing with those who think we behave in worldly ways.
sen reenah wanghang doh mithih nakkah angthuk weehe; tiimnge liidi o ih mongrep tenthun nawa ih re rumla ngeh ih li hali erah damdi mithih likhiik ih reeli.
3 Even though we live in this world, we don't fight as the world does.
Amiisak di elang eh ah seng arah mongrep adi songtong li, enoothong mongrep tenthun ni tarookmuike.
4 Our weapons are not of this world but God's mighty power that destroys fortresses of human thinking, demolishing misleading theories.
Seng rookmuili lang apah ah arah mongrep dowa lang apah tah angka erabah Rangte chaan aphaan lang apah, erah lang apah rah ih echeh echaan loong ah thet haat hi. Tiitmoong jengkhaap di daanmui li loong ah seng ih thet haat ehi;
5 Every high wall that stands tall and proud against the knowledge of God is knocked down. Every rebel idea is captured and brought into obedient agreement with Christ.
Rangte mongtham ngathong ni khuupookli adi seng lamtang hali ah thet haat ehi; warep tenthun ah seng lakhui ni angthuk eno Kristo tiit ah kap thuk hi.
6 When you are completely obeying Christ then we're ready to punish any disobedience.
Sen loong ah hejeng chaatchaat ngeh ih noisok an, jeng laboichaatte loong ah cham thuk suh seng loong ah ban tongli.
7 Look at what's staring you in the face! Anyone who considers that they belong to Christ should think again—just as they belong to Christ, so do we!
Tiim ang abah uh sen ih rangkhoh toloh ni sok han. O ih bah uh senteewah Kristo raangtaan ngeh ih thun tam ehan? Ese, neng teewah suh emah toom we samthun rum ah, tiimnge liidi neng ih samthunha likhiik seng uh emamah Kristo mina ju.
8 Even though I may seem to be boasting a little too much about our authority, I'm not embarrassed about it. The Lord gave this authority to us to build you up, not to knock you down.
Teesu ih chaan aphaan kohali asuh khuupook ih bah uh nga tarakri kang—erah chaan aphaan ah sen toonjoot theng, sen dat hoom theng tah angka.
9 I'm not trying to scare you by my letters.
Nga ih le korum haano sen cho thuk suh taliikang.
10 People say, “His letters are tough and severe, but in person he's feeble, and he's a useless speaker.”
Mararah ih liiha “Pool le ah echeh echaan, enoothong heteewah ah hephuuphu seng damdoh ang haano, heh larook lata ih hoonla, eno heh jengkhaap ah tiimju tah angka!”
11 People like that should realize that what we say through letters when we're not there we will do when we are there!
Erah likhiik mina ih jat etheng seng sen reeni lah angke di le ni tiimjih raang kohi nyia sen damdi ang edi tiimjih reeli ah phoosiit.
12 We're not so arrogant to compare ourselves with those who think so much of themselves. Those who measure themselves by themselves, and compare themselves with themselves, are really foolish!
Elang eh ah o ih ngah elong thunha damdi seng teeteewa tanaan toobaatke. Neng loong ah tiimthan ngakthakla! Erah loong ah ebah neng thun jun ih neng teeteewah thaak samthunha nyia neng teeteewah thaak dande ha!
13 But we won't boast about ourselves in extravagant terms that can't be measured. We simply measure what we have done using God's system of measurement that he gave us—and that includes you.
Enoothong, seng loong ah kaaliin takhuupookke; Rangte ih mathan mootkaat thuk hali erah mongmong adoh ang ah, eno arah sen damdi moli rah uh erah mongmong adi moli.
14 We are not over-extending our authority in saying this, as if we didn't get as far as you, for we did get to you and share with you the good news of Christ.
Eno seng ih Kristo Ruurang Ese tiit baatkaat tahe adoh, sen ih mathan samjat an erah than ba baatti, erah nang eh ehan jiitbaat muh.
15 We're not boasting in extravagant terms that can't be measured, claiming credit for what others have done. On the contrary, we hope that as your trust in God grows, our work among you will greatly increase.
Erah thoidi seng suh Rangte ih mathan reetheng thiinkoh hali wahoh loong ah erah nang ih ehan mokala asuh takhuupookke. Erah nang ebah, saarookwet Rangte ih mathan mootkaat theng thiinkoh hali, sen jaachi nah sen loong ah ehanhan ih jen mootkaat suh hanpi han asuh ba laalomli.
16 Then we can share the good news in places way beyond you, without boasting about what's already been done where someone else has worked.
Eno juuba seng lakngah nah deek hoh nah Ruurang Ese tiit jen jiit baatkaat ih, eno wahoh phek ni jen mootkaat choi asuh takhuupookke.
17 “If anyone wants to boast, boast about the Lord.”
Enoothong Rangteele ni liiha, “O bah uh khuupook esuh li abah Teesu ih tiimjih mokala erah suh khuupook theng.”
18 It's not those who praise themselves that are respected, but those that the Lord praises.
Tiimnge liidi Teesu ih seng suh ese ngeh ih thun ano kap hali adi ba seng loong ah epun eli, eno seng teeteewah ih maama teewah suh ese thunhi adi tah angka.
