< 2 Chronicles 8 >

1 It had taken twenty years for Solomon to build the Temple of the Lord and his own palace.
Salomo dii hene no, ne mfe aduonu so na owiee Awurade Asɔredansi dwumadi kɛse ne nʼankasa ahemfi no si.
2 Solomon rebuilt the towns Hiram had given him, and sent Israelites to live there.
Afei, Salomo de nʼadwene kɔɔ nkurow a ɔhene Huram de ama no no so. Osiesiee nkurow no, na ɔmaa Israelfo no kɔtenatenaa mu.
3 Then Solomon attacked Hamath-zobah and captured it.
Saa bere no ara mu nso na Salomo ko tiaa kurow Hamat-Soba, dii so nkonim.
4 He built Tadmor in the wilderness and also built all the storehouse towns in Hamath.
Ɔkyekyeree Tadmor bio wɔ sare so, na ɔkyekyeree nkurow wɔ Hamat mantam mu a ɛhɔ na na wɔkora nneɛma.
5 He rebuilt Upper and Lower Beth-horon, fortified cities with walls and barred gates,
Ɔbɔɔ nkuropɔn a na ɛwɔ atifi Bet-Horon ne anafo Bet-Horon no ho ban. Ɔsan too wɔn afasu no, de apon a wɔbram akyi totoo ano.
6 and also Baalath. He built all the storehouse towns that belonged to him, and all the towns where he kept his chariots and horses. He built everything he wanted to in Jerusalem, Lebanon, and throughout his entire kingdom.
7 There were some people who remained in the land: the Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites—people who were not Israelites.
Ebesi saa bere no, na nnipa bi tete asase no so a wɔnyɛ Israelfo. Na saa nnipa no yɛ Hetifo, Amorifo, Perisifo, Hewifo ne Yebusifo.
8 They were the remaining descendants of the peoples that the Israelites had not destroyed. Solomon made them work as forced laborers, as they are to this day.
Eyinom yɛ aman a Israel ntɔre wɔn ase korakora no asefo. Ɛno nti, Salomo hyɛɛ wɔn ma wɔyɛɛ adwuma maa no. Na ebesi nnɛ, wɔsom sɛ apaafo.
9 But Solomon did not make any of the Israelites work as slaves. Instead, they were his military men, his officers, and commanders of his chariots and horsemen.
Nanso Salomo anhyɛ Israelni biara amma wanyɛ adwuma sɛ ɔpaani. Mmom, ɔmaa ebinom kɔyɛɛ asraafo, mpanyimfo wɔ nʼakofo so ne ne nteaseɛnam ne nʼapɔnkɔkafo so asahene.
10 They were also King Solomon's chief officers, 250 men who supervised the people.
Ɔhene Salomo yii wɔn mu ahannu aduonum ma wɔkɔhwɛɛ ne nkɔsodwuma so.
11 Solomon moved Pharaoh's daughter from the City of David to the palace he had built for her. For he said, “My wife cannot live in the palace of David king of Israel, because wherever the Ark of the Lord has gone are holy places.”
Salomo yii ne yere a ɔyɛ Farao babea fii Dawid kurow mu, de no kɔɔ ahemfi foforo a wasi ama no no mu. Ɔkae se, “Ɛnsɛ sɛ me yere tena Ɔhene Dawid ahemfi, efisɛ na Awurade Apam Adaka no si hɔ, enti ɛhɔ yɛ asase kronkron.”
12 Then Solomon presented burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of the Lord he had built in front of the Temple's porch.
Na Salomo bɔɔ ɔhyew afɔre wɔ afɔremuka a wasi wɔ Asɔredan no ntwironoo no anim no so, maa Awurade.
13 He followed the requirement for daily offerings as Moses had ordered for Sabbaths, new moons, and the three annual festivals—the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Shelters.
Da biara, wɔbɔɔ afɔre sɛnea Mose de maa wɔn no. Afahyɛ ahorow a wodii no bi ne Homeda, Ɔsram Foforo Da, ne mfirihyia abiɛsa biara afahyɛ no mu a, ɛyɛ Twam Afahyɛ, Otwabere Afahyɛ ne Asese Afahyɛ.
14 Following the instructions of his father David, he assigned the divisions of the priests for their service, and the Levites in their responsibilities to offer praise, and to help the priests in their daily duties. He also assigned gatekeepers by their divisions at each gate as David, the man of God, had instructed.
Salomo de asɔfo no nnwuma rehyɛ wɔn nsa no, ɔfaa nʼagya Dawid akwankyerɛ so. Saa ara na ɔmaa Lewifo no dii ɔmanfo no anim too ayeyi nnwom, na wɔboaa asɔfo no wɔ wɔn daa daa nnwuma mu. Ɔde apon ano ahwɛfo akuwakuw no sisii wɔn apon ano sɛnea Dawid, Onyankopɔn nipa no kyerɛɛ wɔn no.
15 They followed David's instructions exactly regarding the priests, the Levites, and anything to do with the treasuries.
Salomo amman amfi akwankyerɛ a Dawid mae a ɛfa asɔfo, Lewifo ne sikakorabea ho.
16 This is how all Solomon's work was carried out, from the day the foundation was laid for the Lord's Temple until it was finished. So the Lord's Temple was completed.
Na Salomo hwɛɛ biribiara a ɛfa Awurade Asɔredan no si so fi da a wotwaa ne fapem, kosi da a wɔde wiee si no.
17 After this Solomon went to Ezion-geber and to Eloth on the coast of the land of Edom.

18 Hiram sent him ships under the command of his own officers, along with experienced sailors. They went with Solomon's men to Ophir where they loaded 450 talents of gold, which they then brought back to King Solomon.
Huram brɛɛ no ahyɛn a ɔno ankasa mpanyimfo hwɛ so; na emu adwumayɛfo no nim adwuma yiye. Salomo nkurɔfo ne saa ahyɛn yi kɔɔ Ofir asase so, na wɔde sikakɔkɔɔ a na ɛkari bɛyɛ tɔn dunson brɛɛ Salomo.
