2 Chronicles 3
1 Then Solomon began building the Temple of the Lord in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared to his father David. This was the place that David had provided—the former threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
१तब सुलैमान ने यरूशलेम में मोरिय्याह नामक पहाड़ पर उसी स्थान में यहोवा का भवन बनाना आरम्भ किया, जिसे उसके पिता दाऊद ने दर्शन पाकर यबूसी ओर्नान के खलिहान में तैयार किया था:
2 Solomon began construction on the second day of the second month in his fourth year as king.
२उसने अपने राज्य के चौथे वर्ष के दूसरे महीने के, दूसरे दिन को निर्माण कार्य आरम्भ किया।
3 The size of the foundation Solomon laid for the Temple of God was sixty cubits long and twenty cubits wide, (according to the old cubit measurement).
३परमेश्वर का जो भवन सुलैमान ने बनाया, उसकी यह नींव है, अर्थात् उसकी लम्बाई तो प्राचीनकाल के नाप के अनुसार साठ हाथ, और उसकी चौड़ाई बीस हाथ की थी।
4 The front porch that ran across the width of the Temple was twenty cubits long and twenty cubits high. He covered the inside of the porch with pure gold.
४भवन के सामने के ओसारे की लम्बाई तो भवन की चौड़ाई के बराबर बीस हाथ की; और उसकी ऊँचाई एक सौ बीस हाथ की थी। सुलैमान ने उसको भीतर से शुद्ध सोने से मढ़वाया।
5 He paneled the main room with cypress overlaid with fine gold, with images of palm trees and chains.
५भवन के मुख्य भाग की छत उसने सनोवर की लकड़ी से पटवाई, और उसको अच्छे सोने से मढ़वाया, और उस पर खजूर के वृक्ष की और साँकलों की नक्काशी कराई।
6 He decorated the Temple with beautiful gems, and with gold he imported from Parvaim.
६फिर शोभा देने के लिये उसने भवन में मणि जड़वाए। और यह सोना पर्वेम का था।
7 He covered the beams, thresholds, walls, and doors of the Temple with gold, and he carved cherubim on the walls.
७उसने भवन को, अर्थात् उसकी कड़ियों, डेवढ़ियों, दीवारों और किवाड़ों को सोने से मढ़वाया, और दीवारों पर करूब खुदवाए।
8 He made the room of the Most Holy Place to correspond with the width of the Temple—twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide. He covered the interior with six hundred talents of fine gold.
८फिर उसने भवन के परमपवित्र स्थान को बनाया; उसकी लम्बाई भवन की चौड़ाई के बराबर बीस हाथ की थी, और उसकी चौड़ाई बीस हाथ की थी; और उसने उसे छः सौ किक्कार शुद्ध सोने से मढ़वाया।
9 The weight of the nails was one shekel for every fifty shekels of gold.
९सोने की कीलों का तौल पचास शेकेल था। उसने अटारियों को भी सोने से मढ़वाया।
10 He made for the Most Holy Place two wooden cherubim covered with gold.
१०फिर भवन के परमपवित्र स्थान में उसने नक्काशी के काम के दो करूब बनवाए और वे सोने से मढ़वाए गए।
11 The wingspan of the cherubim together was twenty cubits. One wing of the first cherub was five cubits long and touched one Temple wall, while its other wing, also five cubits long, and touched the second cherub.
११करूबों के पंख तो सब मिलकर बीस हाथ लम्बे थे, अर्थात् एक करूब का एक पंख पाँच हाथ का और भवन की दीवार तक पहुँचा हुआ था; और उसका दूसरा पंख पाँच हाथ का था और दूसरे करूब के पंख से मिला हुआ था।
12 In similar fashion, one wing of the second cherub was five cubits long and touched one Temple wall, while its other wing, also five cubits long, and touched the first cherub.
१२दूसरे करूब का भी एक पंख पाँच हाथ का और भवन की दूसरी दीवार तक पहुँचा था, और दूसरा पंख पाँच हाथ का और पहले करूब के पंख से सटा हुआ था।
13 So the wingspan of these cherubim together was twenty cubits. They stood on their feet, facing the main room.
१३इन करूबों के पंख बीस हाथ फैले हुए थे; और वे अपने-अपने पाँवों के बल खड़े थे, और अपना-अपना मुख भीतर की ओर किए हुए थे।
14 He made the veil of blue, purple, and crimson embroidery on fine linen, with images of cherubim on it.
१४फिर उसने बीचवाले पर्दे को नीले, बैंगनी और लाल रंग के सन के कपड़े का बनवाया, और उस पर करूब कढ़वाए।
15 He made two columns for the front of the Temple, thirty-five cubits, each having a capital five cubits high.
१५भवन के सामने उसने पैंतीस-पैंतीस हाथ ऊँचे दो खम्भे बनवाए, और जो कँगनी एक-एक के ऊपर थी वह पाँच-पाँच हाथ की थी।
16 He made chains like in the Most Holy Place and he placed them on top of the columns. He also made one hundred ornamental pomegranates and attached them to each chain.
१६फिर उसने भीतरी कोठरी में साँकलें बनवाकर खम्भों के ऊपर लगाई, और एक सौ अनार भी बनाकर साँकलों पर लटकाए।
17 He set up the columns in front of the Temple, one on the south, and one on the north. The column on the south he named Jachin, and the column on the north he named Boaz.
१७उसने इन खम्भों को मन्दिर के सामने, एक तो उसकी दाहिनी ओर और दूसरा बाईं ओर खड़ा कराया; और दाहिने खम्भे का नाम याकीन और बाएँ खम्भे का नाम बोअज रखा।
