1 Solomon ordered the building of a Temple to honor the Lord and a royal palace for himself.
Salomo apesaki mitindo mpo na kotonga Tempelo ya Yawe mpe ndako ya mokonzi mpo na ye moko.
2 He allocated 70,000 men as laborers, 80,000 as stone cutters in the mountains, and 3,600 as foremen.
Salomo asangisaki bato nkoto tuku sambo mpo na komema biloko ya kotongela, bato nkoto tuku mwambe mpo na kobuka mabanga na bangomba, mpe bato nkoto misato na nkama motoba mpo na kokengela bango.
3 Solomon sent a message to Hiram, king of Tyre, telling him,
Salomo atindaki maloba oyo epai ya Irami, mokonzi ya Tiri: — Sala na ngai ndenge osalaki mpo na Davidi, tata na ngai, tango otindelaki ye mabaya ya nzete ya sedele mpo na kotonga ndako na ye ya kovanda.
4 “Please do as you did with my father David when you sent him cedar timber for him to build a palace to live in. I'm about to start building a Temple to honor the Lord my God, dedicated to him, where he will be offered sweet-smelling incense, where the showbread will be always set out in rows, and where burnt offerings will be made every morning and evening, on the Sabbaths, at new moon festivals, and at the feasts of the Lord our God—this to be done forever in Israel.
Nzokande, ngai nalingi sik’oyo kotonga Tempelo mpo na Kombo na Yawe, Nzambe na ngai, mpo na kobulisa yango mpo na lokumu na Ye, mpo na kobonzela Ye malasi ya solo kitoko lokola mbeka, mpo na kobongisaka kuna mapa tango nyonso, mpo na kobonzaka kuna bambeka ya kotumba, tongo mpe pokwa, mpe mpo na kosepelaka kuna mikolo ya Saba, ya ebandeli ya sanza mpe ya bafeti oyo ekatama, ya Yawe, Nzambe na biso, ndenge ezali malako ya tango nyonso mpo na Isalaele.
5 This Temple I am about to build must be impressive, because our God is greater than all gods.
Tempelo oyo nakotonga ekozala monene, pamba te Nzambe na biso azali monene koleka banzambe nyonso.
6 But who can build a Temple for him to live in, for the heavens, even highest heaven, cannot contain him, and who am I that I should dare to build him a house, except to burn incense to him?
Kasi nani akoki kotongela Ye Tempelo, pamba te Likolo mpe Likolo oyo eleki likolo ekoki kokoka Ye te? Mpe ngai nde nani mpo ete natongela Ye Tempelo, soki kaka etumbelo te mpo na kotumba mbeka ya malasi liboso na Ye?
7 So please send me a master craftsman who is skilled in working with gold, silver, bronze, and iron; and in purple, scarlet, and blue fabrics. He must also know how to engrave, working together with my expert craftsmen from Judea and Jerusalem provided by my father David.
Boye, tindela ngai moto oyo ayebi kosalela wolo, palata, bronze, ebende, langi ya motane ya pete, langi ya motane ya makasi mpe langi ya ble, mpe ayebi kotobola bililingi, mpo ete asala mosala, kati na Yuda mpe Yelusalemi, elongo na basali na ngai, oyo bayebi penza mosala, ba-oyo Davidi, tata na ngai, abongisaki.
8 Also send me cedar, cypress, and algum timber from Lebanon, for I know that your workers are skillful in cutting down the trees of Lebanon. I will send men to help your workers
Tindela ngai mpe, wuta na Libani, mabaya ya nzete ya sedele, ya sipele mpe ya santale, pamba te nayebi ete bato na yo bayebi malamu kokata banzete ya Libani. Bato na ngai bakosala elongo na basali na yo,
9 to produce a large quantity of timber because the Temple I'm building will be really large and very impressive.
bakobongisela ngai mabaya ebele, pamba te Tempelo oyo nazali kotonga esengeli kozala monene mpe kitoko.
10 I will pay your workers, the wood-cutters, 20,000 cors of crushed wheat, 20,000 cors of barley, 20,000 baths of wine, and 20,000 baths of olive oil.”
Nakopesa na basali na yo, oyo bakokata banzete batone nkoto motoba ya ble, batone nkoto minei ya orje, balitele ya vino nkoto nkama libwa, balitele ya mafuta nkoto nkama libwa.
11 King Hiram of Tyre responded to Solomon by letter: “It's because the Lord loves his people that he has made you their king.”
Irami, mokonzi ya Tiri, azongiselaki Salomo na mokanda: — Ezali mpo ete Yawe alingi bato na Ye nde akomisi yo mokonzi na bango.
12 Hiram went on, “Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, who made the heavens and the earth! He has given King David a wise son with insight and understanding who is going to build a Temple for the Lord and a royal palace for himself.
Irami alobaki na ye lisusu: — Tika ete Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele, Mokeli ya likolo mpe se, apambolama, mpo ete apesi na mokonzi Davidi mwana mobali ya mayele mpe ya bososoli, oyo akotonga Tempelo mpo na Yawe mpe ndako ya mokonzi mpo na ye moko.
13 I'm sending you Hiram-Abi, a master craftsman who knows and understands what he's doing.
Nazali kotindela yo sik’oyo Urami-Abi; azali penza moto moko ya mayele oyo ayebi mosala malamu.
14 His mother is from the tribe of Dan and his father is from Tyre. He's an expert in working with gold and silver, bronze and iron, stone and wood, purple, blue, and crimson fabric, and fine linen. He can do all kinds of engraving and can make any design he's given. He'll work with your craftsmen and with the craftsmen of my lord, your father David.
Mama na ye azalaki moto ya libota ya Dani, mpe tata na ye, moto ya Tiri. Abongisama mpo na misala ya wolo, ya palata, ya bronze, ya ebende, ya mabanga, ya mabaya, ya kotia langi ya motane makasi, ya ble, ya motane ya pete mpe ya kobongisa lino ya pete. Ayebi malamu mosala ya kotobola bililingi, mpe akoki kosala mosala nyonso oyo bakosenga ye. Akosala elongo na basali na yo mpe na basali ya nkolo na ngai, Davidi, tata na yo.
15 Now my lord, please send to us his servants the wheat, barley, olive oil, and wine he spoke about.
Sik’oyo, tika ete nkolo na ngai atinda epai ya basali na ye ble, orje, mafuta mpe masanga ya vino oyo alakaki.
16 We will cut all timber you need from Lebanon and take it to you by sea in rafts to Joppa. From there you can transport it to Jerusalem.”
Biso, tokokata banzete nyonso ya Libani, oyo ozali na yango posa; tokokangisa mpe tokotinda yango na nzela ya mayi ya ebale monene kino na Jafa. Wuta kuna, yo okokomisa yango na Yelusalemi.
17 Solomon had a census taken of all the foreigners in the land of Israel, like the census his father David had conducted, and found there were 153,600.
Salomo atangaki motango ya bapaya nyonso oyo bazalaki kati na Isalaele kolanda ndenge Davidi, tata na ye, atangaki motango ya bato. Bazalaki bato nkoto nkama moko na tuku mitano na misato na nkama motoba.
18 He allocated 70,000 as laborers, 80,000 as stonecutters in the mountains, and 3,600 as foremen.
Aponaki bato nkoto tuku sambo mpo na komema biloko, bato nkoto tuku mwambe mpo na kobuka mabanga na bangomba, mpe bakengeli nkoto misato na nkama motoba mpo na kosalisa bato misala.
