< 1 Timothy 4 >

1 However, the Spirit very clearly explains that in the last times some will abandon their trust in God, and will listen to deceptive spirits and beliefs that come from demons.
Esa Chiiala ih danduudu ih baat ha, rekam doh mina loong ih neng hanpi ah thiinhaat et rum ah; neng ih tiit huung baatte chiiala nyia chiithih laakhah loong tiit ah chaat rum ah.
2 These hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared,
Erah likhiik tiitwaan ah eleek loong ih tumbaat ha, nengthung nengtak ah jaan ekhaam ni sok arah likhiik tekmang.
3 tell people to not marry and not to eat certain foods made by God that should be accepted with thanks by those who trust and know the truth.
Erah miloong rah ih nyoot rumha, mih suh nook emiit ang ah nyia mararah phaksat ah laphaksah theng eah. Enoothong Rangte ih bah phaksat ah ephaksat et suh dongsiitta, hanpiite nyia amiisak tiit jat suh nookte loong ih Rangte suh lakookmi li ano phaksah theng.
4 Everything created by God is good, and nothing should be rejected but should be received with thanks,
Jaatrep Rangte ih dongsiitta loong ah ese totoh, tumjih uh ehaatjih tajeeka, enoothong jaatrep ah lakookmi jengkhaap jenglam ih thaangtheng,
5 since it is made sacred by the word of God and by prayer.
tumeah, Rangte jengkhaap nyia rangsoom nawa ih erah loong ah Rangte ih ethang etjih ih hoon thuk ha.
6 If you point out these things to the brothers and sisters you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus. You gain strength by trusting in the truth, and in the good teaching you've followed.
An ih arah nyootsoot hala tiit ah hanpiite loong suh baat ubah, an ah Jisu Kristo laksuh ese mina ang uh, tumeah an ih chiiala ehanpiijih jengkhaap ni anteewah ah haksiit hu nyia amiisak tiitkhaap ah kap hu.
7 Reject what is irreligious, and old wives' tales. Make sure your exercise is spiritual—
Enoothong thaangmuh teetiit loong ah thiinhaat et an, erah loong ah tumjih maak doh uh tachapka. An teeteewah ah Rangte ih jamha roidong ah raang ih ban nyootsoot ruh et uh.
8 for while physical exercise is useful to some extent, spiritual exercise is much more useful. For “it has promise for the present life, and for the life to come.”
Hansi sakpuh japja abah sakpuh raang ih amasah hethaang pan, enoothong chiiala lam ni japjaala abah jaatrep lam ni thaangchaan, tumeah erah ih lakngah roidong nyia amah dowa roidong raang kakham hoonha.
9 You can trust this saying that should be accepted by everyone.
Arah jengkhaap ah amiisak tiit, ehanpiijih nyia elang ekah ih thangjih.
10 The reason we work and do the best we can is because our hope is in the living God. He is the Savior of all people, especially of those who trust in him.
Ething Rangte asuh laalom ih no chamnaangli nyia ramcham moli, marah loongtang raang ih Pangte, ehanthoon ah o ih hanpiiha loong raang ih.
11 This is what you should teach. Tell everyone to follow your instructions.
Arah jengkhaap nyia enyootsoot theng loong ah baat koh uh.
12 Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young. Be an example to those who trust in God—in the way you speak, the kind of life you live, in love, in trust, and in purity.
An ah jaaro, erah thoih an mih ih naktoom thaangju rumho, erah nang ih bah an jengkong nah, an reeraang nah, minchan nan, an tuungmaang nah, nyia esa lam nah an ah enyootsok etjih angtheng.
13 Until I get there, make sure you read the Scriptures to the church, and encourage them by your speaking and teaching.
Ngah maang raakraak, an ih Rangteele ah nokwah dung nah wet suh, nyootsoot suh nyia tumbaat suh saapoot ah kap uh.
14 Don't neglect the gracious gift you have that was given to you by prophetic inspiration when the church elders laid their hands on you.
Khowah jengkhaap jun ih an suh chaas mihak phokhoh loong ih an khoh ni neng lak ih taajoh rum hoono, chiiala ih lakkot kotaho ah nak thet haat uh.
15 Think carefully about these things, and dedicate yourself completely to them so that everyone can see the progress you're making.
Erah loong ah labeehaat thang ih ban maak ruh et uh, an ese ih dong reeraang urah mirep ih soktheng toom ang ah.
16 Mind what you're doing and what you're teaching. Keep going with all of this, because as you do so you'll save both yourself and those who listen to you.
An teewah nyia an ih mamet nyootsoot hu loong ah naririh ih ban sok uh. Erah loong ah latoohaat thang ih reeraang uh, tumeah, an roidong nyia an tiit boichaatte loong ah erah thoih pui ah.
