1 Thessalonians 4
1 A few more things: Brothers and sisters, we plead with you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to behave in ways that please God, just as we instructed you. Of course you're already doing this, just do it more and more!
Bandeko, mpo na oyo etali makambo mosusu, tolakisaki bino ndenge nini bosengeli kotambola mpo na kosepelisa Nzambe, mpe yango nde bozali kosala. Kasi sik’oyo, tozali kosenga na bino mpe kotinda bino na makasi, kati na Nkolo Yesu, ete bokoba kosalaka bongo koleka.
2 You remember the instructions we gave you on behalf of the Lord Jesus.
Pamba te boyebi mitindo oyo topesaki bino na Kombo ya Nkolo Yesu.
3 What God wants is for you to live holy lives. So stay away from sexual immorality
Nzambe alingi ete bozalaka bule tango nyonso: bokimaka pite;
4 in order that each of you may control yourselves in a way that is holy and respectful,
moko na moko kati na bino asengeli koyeba kobatela nzoto na ye kati na bosantu mpe lokumu,
5 not indulging passionate lust like the heathen who have no knowledge of God.
asengeli koboya kozala mowumbu ya baposa ya nzoto lokola Bapagano oyo bayebi Nzambe te,
6 Don't cheat or take advantage of another Christian in these matters, for the Lord is the one who executes justice in all such things, as we've already clearly explained to you, and warned you about.
asengeli mpe te kokosa to kosala ndeko na ye mabe kati na makambo oyo etali bonzoto, pamba te Nkolo akopesa etumbu na bato nyonso oyo basalaka mabe ya lolenge wana, ndenge toyebisaki mpe tokebisaki bino liboso.
7 For God did not call us to live impure lives, but holy lives.
Nzambe abengaki biso te mpo ete tozala bato ya mbindo, kasi mpo ete tobika bomoi na biso na lolenge ya bule.
8 So anyone who rejects this position isn't just rejecting what a human being is saying; they are rejecting God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.
Boye moto oyo atosaka mitindo yango te atiolaka moto te kasi atiolaka nde Nzambe oyo apesaki bino Molimo Mosantu na Ye.
9 We certainly don't need to write and tell you to love fellow believers, because God teaches you to love one another—
Mpo na oyo etali bolingo kati na bino, ezali lisusu na tina te ya kokomela bino, pamba te Ye moko Nzambe ateyaki bino kolingana bino na bino.
10 and in fact you are demonstrating this love to all the believers throughout Macedonia. Even so we want to encourage you, brothers and sisters, to love more and more.
Ezali mpe bolingo yango nde bosengeli kotalisa epai ya bandeko nyonso kati na Masedwane mobimba. Mpe bandeko, tozali kosenga na bino ete bokoba kosalaka bongo koleka,
11 Try to live a quiet life, minding your own business, doing your own work, as we've already explained to you,
ete bolukaka kobika bomoi na bino kati na kimia; mpe tika ete moto nyonso atalaka makambo na ye moko mpe aliaka na motoki na ye moko, ndenge kaka toyebisaki bino yango,
12 so that your way of life may be respected by non-Christians and you won't have to rely on anyone to provide what you need.
mpo ete, mokolo na mokolo, Bapagano bamemia bino, mpe mpo ete bobika te bomoi na bino na sima ya mokongo ya moto.
13 We don't want you to be confused about what happens when people die, brothers and sisters, so that you won't grieve like others who don't have any hope.
Bandeko, toboyi bozanga boyebi na tina na bato oyo bakufa, mpo ete bozala na mawa te lokola bamosusu oyo bazangi elikya.
14 Since we're convinced that Jesus died and rose again, we're also sure that God will bring with Jesus those who have died trusting in him.
Pamba te ndenge tondimaka ete Yesu akufaki mpe asekwaki, ndenge mpe tondimaka ete Nzambe akomema, na nzela ya Yesu mpe elongo na Ye, bato oyo bakufa kati na Ye.
15 What we're telling you comes from the Lord: those of us who are alive and still here when the Lord comes certainly won't precede those who have died.
Kolanda liloba na Nkolo, tala makambo oyo tozali koyebisa bino: biso ba-oyo tokotikala na bomoi kino na tango oyo Nkolo akoya, tokokende te liboso ya bato oyo bakufa;
16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the cry of the archangel, and with the sound of God's trumpet, and those who have died in Christ will rise first.
pamba te tango kaka mitindo ekopesama na nzela ya koganga ya mokonzi ya ba-anjelu mpe ya kelelo ya Nzambe, Ye moko Nkolo akokita wuta na Lola mpe bato oyo basila kokufa kati na Klisto bakosekwa bato ya liboso.
17 Then those of us who are alive and still here will be carried up together with them into the clouds, and we shall meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever!
Sima na yango, biso bato oyo tokozala na bomoi na tango yango tokomemama elongo na bango kati na mapata mpo na kokutana na Nkolo, na likolo; mpe na bongo, tokozala elongo na Nkolo libela na libela.
18 So encourage one another with these words.
Yango wana, bolendisanaka na maloba oyo.
