< 1 Kings 19 >

1 Ahab told Jezebel everything that Elijah had done and that he had killed all the prophets of Baal with the sword.
Akabi ayebisaki Jezabeli makambo nyonso oyo Eliya asalaki mpe ndenge nini abomaki basakoli nyonso na mopanga.
2 Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah to say, “May the gods do as much to me and more if by tomorrow I haven't made your life like the lives of those you killed!”
Boye Jezabeli atindaki ntoma epai ya Eliya mpo na koyebisa ye: — Tika ete banzambe bapesa ngai etumbu ya makasi koleka soki lobi, kaka na ngonga oyo, nakomisi bomoi na yo te ndenge okomisaki bomoi ya moko na moko kati na bango.
3 Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he arrived in Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there
Eliya abangaki mpe akimaki mpo na kobikisa bomoi na ye. Tango akomaki na Beri-Sheba ya Yuda, atikaki kuna mosali na ye.
4 and traveled another day's journey into the desert. He sat down under a broom tree and asked to die. “I've had enough now, Lord,” he said. “Take my life! I'm no better than my forefathers.”
Sima na ye kotambola mokolo mobimba kati na esobe, akomaki na nzete moko ya moke, avandaki na se na yango mpe asengaki kufa na maloba oyo: — Yawe, nalembi! Zwa molimo na ngai mpo ete naleki bakoko na ngai te na malamu.
5 He lay down and fell asleep under the broom tree. All of a sudden an angel touched him and said, “Get up, and eat.”
Bongo alalaki na se ya nzete yango mpe azwaki pongi. Mbala moko, anjelu moko asimbaki ye mpe alobaki na ye: — Lamuka mpe lia.
6 He looked around, and there beside his head was some bread baking over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and lay down again.
Atalaki mpe amonaki pene ya esika oyo atiaki moto, lipa batumba na mabanga ya moto mpe mbeki ya mayi. Aliaki, amelaki mpe alalaki lisusu.
7 The angel of the Lord returned a second time and touched him, and said, “Get up and eat, otherwise the journey will be too much for you.”
Anjelu ya Yawe azongaki na mbala ya mibale, asimbaki ye lisusu mpe alobaki: — Lamuka mpe lia, pamba te mobembo ezali molayi mingi mpo na yo.
8 So he got up and ate and drank, and with the strength the food gave him he was able to walk forty days and forty nights to Mount Horeb, the mountain of God.
Boye alamukaki, aliaki mpe amelaki. Bongo na makasi oyo azwaki na nzela ya bilei, atambolaki mobembo ya mikolo tuku minei mpe ya babutu tuku minei kino akomaki na Orebi, ngomba ya Nzambe.
9 There he entered a cave and spent the night. The Lord spoke to Elijah, and asked him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
Kuna, akotaki na lidusu ya mabanga mpe alekisaki butu. Yawe alobaki na ye: — Eliya, ozali kosala nini awa?
10 “I have worked passionately for the Lord God Almighty,” he replied. “But the Israelites have abandoned your agreement, torn down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword. I am the only one who's left, and they are trying to kill me as well.”
Azongisaki: — Nazali na bolingo eleka ndelo mpo na Yawe Nzambe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, pamba te bana ya Isalaele babwaki boyokani na Yo, babuki bitumbelo na Yo mpe babomi basakoli na Yo na mopanga. Natikali kaka ngai moko na bomoi. Sik’oyo bazali lisusu koluka koboma ngai.
11 Then the Lord told him, “Go out and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” Right then the Lord passed by. A tremendously powerful wind ripped into the mountains and smashed rocks before the Lord, but the Lord wasn't in the wind. After the wind there came an earthquake, but the Lord wasn't in the earthquake.
Yawe alobaki: — Bima mpe telema na ngomba liboso ya Yawe, pamba te Yawe alingi koleka. Boye mopepe moko ya makasi penza epepaki, ebukaki bangomba mpe epanzaki mabanga liboso ya Yawe. Nzokande Yawe azalaki kati na mopepe makasi te.
12 After the earthquake there came a fire, but the Lord wasn't in the fire. And after the fire came a voice speaking in a gentle whisper.
Sima na mopepe makasi, mabele eninganaki; nzokande Yawe azalaki te kati na koningana ya mabele. Sima na koningana ya mabele, moto eyaki; nzokande Yawe azalaki te kati na moto wana. Mpe sima na moto, mopepe ya kimia penza eyaki.
13 When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his cloak around his face and went out and stood at the cave entrance. Immediately a voice spoke to him and asked, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
Tango kaka Eliya ayokaki yango, azipaki elongi na ye na songe ya kazaka na ye, abimaki mpe atelemaki na ekotelo ya lidusu ya mabanga. Mpe mongongo moko elobaki na ye lisusu: — Eliya, ozali kosala nini awa?
14 “I have worked passionately for the Lord God Almighty,” he replied. “But the Israelites have abandoned your agreement, torn down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword. I am the only one who's left, and they are trying to kill me as well.”
Azongisaki: — Nazali na bolingo eleka ndelo mpo na Yawe Nzambe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, pamba te bana ya Isalaele, babwaki boyokani na Yo, babuki bitumbelo na Yo mpe babomi basakoli na Yo na mopanga. Natikali kaka ngai moko na bomoi. Sik’oyo bazali lisusu koluka koboma ngai.
15 The Lord told him, “Go back the way you came to the desert of Damascus. When you get there, go and anoint Hazael king of Aram.
Yawe alobaki na ye: — Zonga na nzela oyo oyelaki mpe kende na esobe ya Damasi. Tango okokoma kuna, okopakola Azaeli mafuta mpo ete akoma mokonzi ya Siri.
16 Also anoint Jehu, son of Nimshi, king of Israel and Elisha, son of Shaphat, from Abel-meholah, to take over from you as prophet.
Okopakola lisusu Jewu, mwana mobali ya Nimishi, mafuta mpo ete akoma mokonzi ya Isalaele. Okopakola lisusu Elize, mwana mobali ya Shafati ya Abele-Meola, mafuta mpo ete akoma mosakoli na esika na yo.
17 Jehu will execute anyone who escapes the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will execute anyone who escapes the sword of Jehu.
Moto nyonso oyo akobika na mopanga ya Azaeli, Jewu akoboma ye; mpe moto nyonso oyo akobika na mopanga ya Jewu, Elize akoboma ye.
18 I still have seven thousand left in Israel, all those who have not bowed their knees to worship and whose mouths have not kissed him.”
Atako bongo, nabombi kati na Isalaele bato nkoto sambo, ba-oyo mabolongo na bango efukameli Bala te, mpe minoko na bango epesi ye beze te.
19 So Elijah left, and went and found Elisha, son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve pairs of oxen, and he was with the twelfth pair. Elijah went over to him and threw his cloak around him.
Eliya alongwaki wana mpe akutanaki na Elize, mwana mobali ya Shafati. Azalaki kobalola bilanga na bangombe tuku mibale na minei bakangisa mibale-mibale liboso na ye mpe ye moko azalaki kotambolisa bangombe mibale ya suka. Eliya apusanaki pembeni ya Elize mpe abwakelaki Elize kazaka na ye.
20 Elisha left the oxen, ran after Elijah, and said, “Please let me go and kiss my father and mother goodbye, and then I will follow you.” “Go on home,” Elijah replied. “I've never done anything for you.”
Elize atikaki bangombe na ye, akimaki mbangu sima na Eliya mpe alobaki: — Tika ete nakende nanu kopesa tata mpe mama na ngai beze mpo na kokabwana na bango, bongo nakolanda yo. Eliya azongisaki: — Zonga na yo, nasali yo nini?
21 Elisha left him, took his pair of oxen, and slaughtered them. Using the wood of the oxen's yoke as fuel, he cooked the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate it. Then he left to follow and serve Elijah.
Boye Elize atikaki ye mpe azongaki. Azwaki bangombe na ye mibale oyo bakangisa, akataki yango kingo mpe abonzaki yango lokola mbeka. Asalelaki bikangiseli ya bangombe mpo na kolamba mosuni na yango, akabolaki yango epai ya bato na ye mpe baliaki yango. Boye, atelemaki mpo na kolanda Eliya mpe akomaki kosalela ye.
