1 Corinthians 6
1 How dare any of you file a lawsuit before pagan judges if you have a dispute with your neighbor! Instead you should bring this before other believers.
ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕਮੇਕਸ੍ਯ ਜਨਸ੍ਯਾਪਰੇਣ ਸਹ ਵਿਵਾਦੇ ਜਾਤੇ ਸ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਲੋਕੈ ਰ੍ਵਿਚਾਰਮਕਾਰਯਨ੍ ਕਿਮ੍ ਅਧਾਰ੍ੰਮਿਕਲੋਕੈ ਰ੍ਵਿਚਾਰਯਿਤੁੰ ਪ੍ਰੋਤ੍ਸਹਤੇ?
2 Don't you know that Christian believers will judge the world? If you're going to judge the world, are you not fit to judge in the most minor cases?
ਜਗਤੋ(ਅ)ਪਿ ਵਿਚਾਰਣੰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਲੋਕੈਃ ਕਾਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤ ਏਤਦ੍ ਯੂਯੰ ਕਿੰ ਨ ਜਾਨੀਥ? ਅਤੋ ਜਗਦ੍ ਯਦਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿ ਰ੍ਵਿਚਾਰਯਿਤਵ੍ਯੰ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੁਦ੍ਰਤਮਵਿਚਾਰੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਯੂਯੰ ਕਿਮਸਮਰ੍ਥਾਃ?
3 Don't you know we are going to judge angels? How much more those things that relate to this life!
ਦੂਤਾ ਅਪ੍ਯਸ੍ਮਾਭਿ ਰ੍ਵਿਚਾਰਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤ ਇਤਿ ਕਿੰ ਨ ਜਾਨੀਥ? ਅਤ ਐਹਿਕਵਿਸ਼਼ਯਾਃ ਕਿਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਭਿ ਰ੍ਨ ਵਿਚਾਰਯਿਤਵ੍ਯਾ ਭਵੇਯੁਃ?
4 So if you have to judge things that relate to this life, how can you go to judges that are not respected by the church?
ਐਹਿਕਵਿਸ਼਼ਯਸ੍ਯ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿਃ ਕਰ੍ੱਤਵ੍ਯੇ ਯੇ ਲੋਕਾਃ ਸਮਿਤੌ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੁਦ੍ਰਤਮਾਸ੍ਤ ਏਵ ਨਿਯੁਜ੍ਯਨ੍ਤਾਂ|
5 I'm trying to shame you by saying this. What? You can't find one wise person among you who can settle a dispute that you have?
ਅਹੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਤ੍ਰਪਯਿਤੁਮਿੱਛਨ੍ ਵਦਾਮਿ ਯ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਮਨ੍ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਕਿਮੇਕੋ(ਅ)ਪਿ ਮਨੁਸ਼਼੍ਯਸ੍ਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਗ੍ ਬੁੱਧਿਮਾੰਨਹਿ ਯੋ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਵਿਵਾਦਵਿਚਾਰਣੇ ਸਮਰ੍ਥਃ ਸ੍ਯਾਤ੍?
6 Instead one believer takes another believer to court, and places the issue before unbelievers!
ਕਿਞ੍ਚੈਕੋ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਾ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰਾਨ੍ਯੇਨ ਕਿਮਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸਿਨਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਰਕਾਣਾਂ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਦ੍ ਵਿਵਦਤੇ? ਯਸ਼਼੍ਮਨ੍ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਵਿਵਾਦਾ ਵਿਦ੍ਯਨ੍ਤ ਏਤਦਪਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਦੋਸ਼਼ਃ|
7 The very fact you have lawsuits against each other already is a complete disaster. Wouldn't it be better to accept the injustice? Why not let yourselves be defrauded?
ਯੂਯੰ ਕੁਤੋ(ਅ)ਨ੍ਯਾਯਸਹਨੰ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਤਿਸਹਨੰ ਵਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਯੋ ਨ ਮਨ੍ਯਧ੍ਵੇ?
8 But you would rather cause injustice and defraud even your fellow-believers in church.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯੂਯਮਪਿ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਨੇਵ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਨ੍ਯਾਯੰ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਤਿਞ੍ਚ ਕੁਰੁਥ ਕਿਮੇਤਤ੍?
9 Don't you know those who are unjust will not inherit the kingdom of God? Don't be fooled! People who are immoral, worship idols, commit adultery, sexual perverts, homosexuals,
ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਰਾਜ੍ਯੇ(ਅ)ਨ੍ਯਾਯਕਾਰਿਣਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਨਾਮਧਿਕਾਰੋ ਨਾਸ੍ਤ੍ਯੇਤਦ੍ ਯੂਯੰ ਕਿੰ ਨ ਜਾਨੀਥ? ਮਾ ਵਞ੍ਚ੍ਯਧ੍ਵੰ, ਯੇ ਵ੍ਯਭਿਚਾਰਿਣੋ ਦੇਵਾਰ੍ੱਚਿਨਃ ਪਾਰਦਾਰਿਕਾਃ ਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੀਵਦਾਚਾਰਿਣਃ ਪੁੰਮੈਥੁਨਕਾਰਿਣਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਕਰਾ
10 thieves, greedy, drunkards, abusers, or cheats, will not inherit the kingdom of God.
ਲੋਭਿਨੋ ਮਦ੍ਯਪਾ ਨਿਨ੍ਦਕਾ ਉਪਦ੍ਰਾਵਿਣੋ ਵਾ ਤ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਰਾਜ੍ਯਭਾਗਿਨੋ ਨ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ|
11 Some of you were once like that, but you have been made clean and holy. You have been made right in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.
ਯੂਯਞ੍ਚੈਵੰਵਿਧਾ ਲੋਕਾ ਆਸ੍ਤ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਰ੍ਯੀਸ਼ੋ ਰ੍ਨਾਮ੍ਨਾਸ੍ਮਦੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯਾਤ੍ਮਨਾ ਚ ਯੂਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਲਿਤਾਃ ਪਾਵਿਤਾਃ ਸਪੁਣ੍ਯੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਾਸ਼੍ਚ|
12 People say, “I'm free to do anything”—but not everything is appropriate! “I'm free to do anything”—but I will not let anything control me! People say,
ਮਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਦ੍ਰਵ੍ਯਮ੍ ਅਪ੍ਰਤਿਸ਼਼ਿੱਧੰ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਨ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਹਿਤਜਨਕੰ| ਮਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਮਪ੍ਰਤਿਸ਼਼ਿੱਧੰ ਤਥਾਪ੍ਯਹੰ ਕਸ੍ਯਾਪਿ ਦ੍ਰਵ੍ਯਸ੍ਯ ਵਸ਼ੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤੋ ਨ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਮਿ|
13 “Food for the stomach, and the stomach for food”—but God will destroy both of them. Also, the body is not meant to be used for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
ਉਦਰਾਯ ਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਣਿ ਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯੇਭ੍ਯਸ਼੍ਚੋਦਰੰ, ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਭਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯੋਦਰੇ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੇਣ ਨਾਸ਼ਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯੇਤੇ; ਅਪਰੰ ਦੇਹੋ ਨ ਵ੍ਯਭਿਚਾਰਾਯ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਪ੍ਰਭਵੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੁਸ਼੍ਚ ਦੇਹਾਯ|
14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us up the same way.
ਯਸ਼੍ਚੇਸ਼੍ਵਰਃ ਪ੍ਰਭੁਮੁੱਥਾਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਸ ਸ੍ਵਸ਼ਕ੍ਤ੍ਯਾਸ੍ਮਾਨਪ੍ਯੁੱਥਾਪਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|
15 Don't you know your bodies are parts of Christ's body? Should I take the parts of Christ's body and join them to a prostitute? Absolutely not!
ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਯਾਨਿ ਸ਼ਰੀਰਾਣਿ ਤਾਨਿ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯਾਙ੍ਗਾਨੀਤਿ ਕਿੰ ਯੂਯੰ ਨ ਜਾਨੀਥ? ਅਤਃ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਯਾਨ੍ਯਙ੍ਗਾਨਿ ਤਾਨਿ ਮਯਾਪਹ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯ ਵੇਸ਼੍ਯਾਯਾ ਅਙ੍ਗਾਨਿ ਕਿੰ ਕਾਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤੇ? ਤੰਨ ਭਵਤੁ|
16 Don't you realize that anyone who has sex with a prostitute becomes “one body” with her? Remember that Scripture says, “The two will become one body.”
ਯਃ ਕਸ਼੍ਚਿਦ੍ ਵੇਸ਼੍ਯਾਯਾਮ੍ ਆਸਜ੍ਯਤੇ ਸ ਤਯਾ ਸਹੈਕਦੇਹੋ ਭਵਤਿ ਕਿੰ ਯੂਯਮੇਤੰਨ ਜਾਨੀਥ? ਯਤੋ ਲਿਖਿਤਮਾਸ੍ਤੇ, ਯਥਾ, ਤੌ ਦ੍ਵੌ ਜਨਾਵੇਕਾਙ੍ਗੌ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਃ|
17 But whoever is joined to the Lord is one with him in spirit!
ਮਾਨਵਾ ਯਾਨ੍ਯਨ੍ਯਾਨਿ ਕਲੁਸ਼਼ਾਣਿ ਕੁਰ੍ੱਵਤੇ ਤਾਨਿ ਵਪੁ ਰ੍ਨ ਸਮਾਵਿਸ਼ਨ੍ਤਿ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਵ੍ਯਭਿਚਾਰਿਣਾ ਸ੍ਵਵਿਗ੍ਰਹਸ੍ਯ ਵਿਰੁੱਧੰ ਕਲ੍ਮਸ਼਼ੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਯਤੇ|
18 Stay away from sexual immorality! All other sins that people commit are outside of the body, but sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.
ਮਾਨਵਾ ਯਾਨ੍ਯਨ੍ਯਾਨਿ ਕਲੁਸ਼਼ਾਣਿ ਕੁਰ੍ੱਵਤੇ ਤਾਨਿ ਵਪੁ ਰ੍ਨ ਸਮਾਵਿਸ਼ਨ੍ਤਿ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਵ੍ਯਭਿਚਾਰਿਣਾ ਸ੍ਵਵਿਗ੍ਰਹਸ੍ਯ ਵਿਰੁੱਧੰ ਕਲ੍ਮਸ਼਼ੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਯਤੇ|
19 Don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit that is within you, that you received from God?
ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਯਾਨਿ ਵਪੂੰਸਿ ਤਾਨਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਦਨ੍ਤਃਸ੍ਥਿਤਸ੍ਯੇਸ਼੍ਵਰਾੱਲਬ੍ਧਸ੍ਯ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਯਾਤ੍ਮਨੋ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰਾਣਿ ਯੂਯਞ੍ਚ ਸ੍ਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸ੍ਵਾਮਿਨੋ ਨਾਧ੍ਵੇ ਕਿਮੇਤਦ੍ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿ ਰ੍ਨ ਜ੍ਞਾਯਤੇ?
20 You don't belong to yourself—a price was paid for you! So glorify God in your body!
ਯੂਯੰ ਮੂਲ੍ਯੇਨ ਕ੍ਰੀਤਾ ਅਤੋ ਵਪੁਰ੍ਮਨੋਭ੍ਯਾਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿਃ ਪੂਜ੍ਯਤਾਂ ਯਤ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰ ਏਵ ਤਯੋਃ ਸ੍ਵਾਮੀ|
