< 1 Corinthians 15 >
1 Now I want to remind you about the good news I announced to you. You accepted it, and you have stood firm for it.
Woli enibhechukisha, emwe bhamula bhasu nemwe bhayala bhasu, ingulu yo musango gwo bhwana gunu nabhasimuliye, inu emwe mwailamiye no kuimeleguluko.
2 It is through this good news that you are saved if you hold on to the message that I gave you. Otherwise you trusted for nothing!
Ni ku musango gwo bhwana gunu mwakisibhwe, alabha mukagugwata omusango nimugumililako lwa kutyo nabhasimuliye emwe, atali ati mwekilisishe kutyo-ela.
3 I passed on to you what I myself had also received, a message of vital importance: that Christ died for our sins, according to Scripture;
Alabha okwamba lwa kutyo nailamiye kunsonga lwa kutyo nailetele kwemwe ili: ati okulubhana na maandiko, Kristo afuye kulwa ingulu ye bhibhibhi bhyeswe,
4 he was buried and was raised from the dead on the third day, again in accordance with Scripture.
okulubhana na maandiko nasikwa, na ati nasuluka ku lusiku lwa kasatu.
5 He appeared to Peter, then to the Twelve.
Na ati namusolomokela Kefa, okumala bhaliya ekumi na bhabhili.
6 After that he appeared to more than five hundred brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still alive today, though some have died.
Okumala nabhasolomokela kwo mwanya gumwi emwe bhamula bhasu nemwe bhayala bhasu kukila ngendo magana gatanu. Abhafu bhebhwe bhachali bhamaanga, mbe nawe abhandi bhebhwe bhaongee ntilo.
7 He appeared to James, then all the apostles.
Okumala namusolomokela Yakobho, okumala jintumwa jone.
8 Last of all, he also appeared to me, someone born as it were at the wrong time.
Kubhutelo bhwa gone, nansolomokela anye, lwa kutyo omwana kebhulwa omwanya guchali kukinga (ndebhile).
9 For I'm the least important apostle of all, not even fit to be called an apostle since I persecuted God's church.
Kulwo kubha anye nili mutoto ku Ntumwa. Niteile okubhilikilwa intumwa, kunsonga nalinyasishe likanisa lwa Nyamuanga.
10 But by God's grace I am what I am, and his grace given to me wasn't wasted. On the contrary I've worked harder than all of them—though not me, but God's grace working through me.
Mbe nawe kulwe chigongo cha Nyamuanga nilio lwa kutyo nili, ne chigongo chaye kwanye chaliga chitali cha kutyo-ela. Kukila ejo, nakolele kwa managa kukila bhone. Mbe nawe aliga atali anye, nawe ni chigongo cha Nyamuanga chinu chili munda yani.
11 So whether it's I or them, this is the message we shared with you that brought you to trust in God.
Kulwejo alabha nanye amwi bhenene, mbe echisimula kutyo na echikilisha kutyo.
12 Now if the message declares that Christ has been raised from the dead, how is it that some of you say there's no resurrection of the dead?
Woli alabha Kristo asimuywe kuti unu asulukile mu bhafuye, ejibha atiki abhandi bhyemwe bhaike ati bhutalio bhusuluko bhwa bhafuye?
13 If there's no resurrection of the dead then Christ hasn't been raised either.
Mbe nawe alabha bhutalio bhusuluko bhwa bhafuye, mbe nolwo Kristo one atasulukile.
14 And if Christ isn't raised, then our message we shared with you is pointless, and your trust in God is pointless too.
Na alabha Kristo atasulukile, kwibhyo obhusimusi bhweswe ni bhwa kutyo-ela ne likilisha lyemwe one ni lwa kutyo-ela.
15 In addition, we would be shown to be false witnesses of God when we testified that God raised Christ from the dead. But God didn't raise Christ from the dead if it's true that there's no resurrection.
Na echibhonekana kubha ati bhabhambasi bho lulimi okulubhana na Nyamuanga, kunsonga chamubhambaliye Nyamuanga mubhutasikene, okwaika ati amusuluye Kristo, kenu atamusuluye.
16 If the dead are not raised, then Christ hasn't been raised either,
Alabha abhafuye bhatakusululwa, Yesu one atasuluywe.
17 and if Christ hasn't been raised, then your trust in God is useless, and you are still in your sins.
Na alabha Kristo atasuluywe, elikilisha lyemwe no lwa kutyo-ela na muchali mu bhibhibhi bhyemwe.
18 This also means that those who died in Christ are lost.
Nolwo kutyo bhaliya bhanu bhafuye mu Kristo one bhasimbagilisha.
19 If our hope in Christ is only for this life, we're the most pitiful people of all!
Akabha kwo bhulame bhunu bhwenyele chili no bhuyali kwo mwanya gunu oguja mu Kristo, abhanu bhone, eswe chili bho kusasilwa kukila bhanu bhone.
20 But Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of the harvest from those who have died.
Mbe nawe woli Kristo asulukile okusoka mu bhafuye, amatwasho go kwamba agabhanu bhafuye.
21 Just as death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead came through a man.
Kulwo kubha olufu lwejile nilulabha ku munu, one okulabha ku munu obhusuliko bhwa abhafuye.
22 Just as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
Kulwo kubha ku Adamu bhone abhafwa, nikwo kutyo one mu Kristo bhone abhakola kubha bhamaanga.
23 But each in their own turn: Christ the firstfruits, then those who belong to Christ when he comes.
Mbe nawe bhuli umwi mu bhikolwa bhyaye: Kristo, amatwasho go kwamba, no okumala bhalya bhanu bhali bha Kristo abhakolwa kubha bhaanga mu mwanya gwo kuja kwaye.
24 After this comes the end, when Christ hands over the kingdom to God the Father, having destroyed all rulers, authorities, and powers.
Niwo bhulibha obhutelo, anu Kristo alibhayana obhukama bhwa Nyamuanga Lata. Jinu anu niwo alisimagisha obhukama bhwone no bhutunge bhwone na amanaga.
25 Christ has to rule until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
Kulwo kubha ni bhusi-bhusi atunge Kukinga anu akateleo abhasoko bhaye bhona emwalo ye bhigele bhyaye.
26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
Omusoko wa kubhutelo okunyamulwa niwe lufu.
27 As Scripture says, “He put everything under his feet.” (Of course when it says “everything” is put under him it's obvious this doesn't refer to God who placed everything under Christ's authority.)
Kulwo kubha “Ateyewo bhuli chinu emwalo ye bhigele bhyaye.” Mbe nawe ungwa niyaikwa “Ateyewo bhuli chinu,” Na abhwelu ati inu itakusangisha bhaliya bhanu bhateyewo ati bhuli chinu emwalo yaye omwene.
28 When everything has been placed under Christ's authority, then the Son will also place himself under God's authority, so that God who gave the Son authority over everything may be all in all.
Mu mwanya ebhinu bhyona bhiteywewo emwalo yaye, okumala omwana omwene katelwao emwalo yaye unu abhiteyeo ebhinu bhyona emwalo yaye. Gunu gulibhonekana koleleki ati Nyamuanga Lata abhe bhyona mu bhyona.
29 Otherwise what will those people do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why then would people be baptized for them?
Amwi one abhakola-ki bhaliya bhanu bhabhatijibhwe ingulu ya bhafuye? Alabha abhafuye bhatakusululwa chimi, kulwa -ki lindi abhabhatijibhwa ingulu yebhwe?
30 As for us, why do we place ourselves in danger hour after hour?
Na ni kulwa -ki chili mu ntambala bhuli mwanya?
31 I die every day—let me say it bluntly, my brothers and sisters. This is just as sure as the pride I have for what Christ Jesus has done in you.
Bhamula bhasu na bhayala bhasu, mu kwikuya kwani kwimwe, jinu nili najo mu Kristo Yesu Latabhugenyi weswe, enilasha kutya: enifwaga kusiku.
32 Humanly speaking, what would I gain by fighting with those people in Ephesus who were like wild animals, if the dead are not raised? If the dead are not raised, “let's eat and drink, for tomorrow we die”!
Ejinsakilaki, mukulola kwa bhana-munu, akalabha nalwanile na jintyanyi jinsiku eyo Efeso, alabha abhafuye bhatasululwa? “Siga woli chilye na chinywe, kulwo kubha mutondo echifwa.”
33 Don't be fooled: “bad company ruins good character.”
Mwasiga kujigwa-jigwa: “Amaijo mabhibhi aganyamula Jintumwa je kisi.
34 Come to your senses as you should, and stop sinning! Some of you don't know God. I tell you this to shame you.
Mubhe no kwibhalilila! Nimulame mu bhulengelesi! Nimusige okugendelela okukola ebhibhibhi. Kulwo kubha abhandi bhemwe mutana bhumenyi bhwa Nyamuanga. Enaika kutya nibhaswashe emwe.
35 Of course somebody will ask, “How exactly are the dead raised? What kind of body will they have?”
Mbe nawe munu undi alyaika ati, “Abhafuye abhasululwa kutiki? Na bhene bhalija na mibhili gwa mbikaki?”
36 What a foolish question! What you sow doesn't sprout into life unless it dies.
Awe uli mumumu muno! Chiliya chinu ouyamba chitakutula kukula atali chifwe okwamba.
37 When you sow, you don't sow the plant it will grow into, just the bare seed, whether wheat or whatever you're planting.
Na chiliya ouyamba gutali mubhili gunu ogukula, nawe ni njuma inu iletele omutenga. Eitula okubha ili ingano amwi chinu chindi.
38 God makes the plant grow into the form he has chosen, and different seeds produce different plants with different forms.
Mbe nawe Nyamuanga kaiyana omubhili kutyo Kenda, na bhuli njuma mubhili gwayo gwenene.
39 What living things are made from is not the same. Human beings have one kind of body tissue, while animals have another, birds another, and fish another.
Mbe emibhili jona jitakususana. Atali, guliwo omubhili gumwi ogwa abhanu, no omubhili ogundi ogwa jityanyi, no mubhili ogundi ogwa jinyonyi, no ogundi ingulu ya jinswi.
40 There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. Heavenly bodies have one kind of beauty, earthly bodies another.
One jiliwo emibhili ja Mulwile ne mibhili ja muchalo. Mbe nawe likusho lye mibhili ja Mulwile ni ja mbika umwi na likusho lya muchalo one ni lindi.
41 The sun shines in one way, and the moon another, while the stars are different again, with each one shining in a different way.
Liliwo likusho limwi elya lisubha, na liliwo likusho elindi elyo kwesi, na liliwo likusho elindi elya jinjota. kulwo kubha injota eimwi itasikene na jinjota ejindi mwikusho.
42 It's the same with the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in decay; it is raised to last forever.
Nikwo kutyo one bhuli no bhusuluko bhwa bhafuye. Chinu echiyambwa echinyamuka, na chinu echimela chitakunyamuka.
43 It is sown in shame; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
Chiyambilwe mu bhikolwa bhyo bhusimuka, nichimelela mwikusho. Nichiyambwa mu bhulenga, nichimelela mu managa.
44 It is sown as a natural body; it is raised as a spiritual body. Just as there are natural bodies there are spiritual bodies.
Chiyambilwe mu mubhili gwo bhusimuka, nichimelela mu mubhili gas chinyamwoyo. Alabha guliwo omubhili gwo bhusimuka, guliwo omubhili gwo Mwoyo one.
45 As Scripture says, “The first man, Adam, became a living being;” but the last Adam a life-giving spirit.
Kwibhyo one jandikilwe ati, “Omunu wo kwamba Adamu akolelwe omubhili gunu obhulaka.” Adamu wo bhutelo akolelwe omwoyo gunu ogusosha obhuanga.
46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural—the spiritual came after that.
Mbe nawe owe chinyamwoyo atejile okwamba atali owo bhusimuka, no kumala owe chinyamwoyo.
47 The first man is from the dust of the earth; the second man is from heaven.
Omunu wo kwamba ni wa kuchalo, akolelwe kwo liteli lwa amwi. Omunu wa kabhili oyo asokele mu Mulwile.
48 Earthly people are like the man made from the earth; heavenly people are like the man from heaven.
Lwa kutyo uliya akolelwe kwo liteli lwa ansi, nikwo kutyo one bhaliya bhanu bhakolelwe kwo liteli lwa ansi. Lwa kutyo omunu wa Mulwile ali, nikwo kutyo one bhaliya abha Mulwile.
49 Just as we bore the likeness of the earthly man so we shall bear the likeness of the man from heaven.
Lwa kutyo chigegele echijejekanyo cho munu wo liteli lwa ansi, echigega one echijejekanyo cho munu wa Mulwile.
50 However, I tell you this, my brothers and sisters: our present bodies cannot inherit the kingdom of God. These decaying bodies cannot inherit what lasts forever.
Woli enibhabhwila, bhamula bhasu na bhayala bhasu, ati omubhili na insagama bhitakutula okulya omwandu obhukama bhwa Nyamuanga. Nolwo obhwo kunyamuka okulya omwandu bhunyantanyamuka.
51 Listen, I'm going to reveal a mystery! Not all of us will die—but we will all be changed,
Lola! Enibhabhwila emwe imbisike ye chimali: chitalifwa bhona, nawe bhona chiliindulwa.
52 in a moment, in the blink of an eye, at the sound of the last trumpet. The trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised never to die again, and we will be changed.
Chiliindulwa mu mwanya, kuliwo kutema-tema kwe liso, ku linyawegona elya kubhutelo. Kulwo kubha linyawegona lililila, na abhafuye bhalisuka bhatana mibhili jo kunyamula, na chiliindulwa.
53 For this perishable body must be clothed with a body that never perishes. This mortal life must be clothed with immortality.
Kawoli gunu ogwo kunyamuka ni bhusi-bhusi gufwale gunyatanyamuka, na gunu ogwo kufwa ni bhusi-bhusi gufwale gunyantafwa.
54 When this perishable body has been clothed with a body that never perishes, and this mortal life has been clothed with immortality, then the Scripture will come true that says, “Death has been totally conquered and destroyed.
Mbe nawe mu mwanya gunu ogwo kunyamuka gukafwala bhunyantanyamuka, na gunu ogwo kufwa gukafwala bhunyantafwa, Niwo ilija inyaika inu yandikilwe ati, “olufu lwamilwa no bhuigi.”
55 Death—where's your victory? Death—where's your sting?” (Hadēs )
“Olufu, obhuigi bhwawo bhulya- ki? Olufu, obhululu bhwawo bhulya- ki”” (Hadēs )
56 The sting that causes death is sin; and the power of sin is the law;
Obhululu bhwo lufu ni chibhibhi, na managa ge chibhibhi ni chilagilo.
57 but praise God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mbe nawe isime ku Nyamuanga, unu kachiyana eswe obhuigi okulabha ku Latabhugenyi weswe Yesu Kristo!
58 So my dear brothers and sisters: be strong, stand firm, doing everything you can for the Lord's work, since you know that nothing you do in the Lord is wasted.
Kulwejo, abhendwa bhamula bhasu na bhayala bhasu, nimulume musimbagiliye na mwasiga kutingisika. Nsiku jona nulole emilimu ja Latabhugenyi, kunsonga mumenyele ati emilimu jemwe mu Latabhugenyi jitali ja kutyo- ela.
