3 Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, Noah.
হনোক, মথূশেলহ, লেমক, নোহ।
4 The sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
নোহের ছেলেরা: শেম, হাম ও যেফৎ।
5 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
যেফতের ছেলেরা: গোমর, মাগোগ, মাদয়, যবন, তূবল, মেশক ও তীরস।
6 The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.

7 The sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, Rodanim.
যবনের ছেলেরা: ইলীশা, তর্শীশ, কিত্তীম এবং রোদানীম।
8 The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
হামের ছেলেরা: কূশ, মিশর, পূট ও কনান।
9 The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabta, Raamah, and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
কূশের ছেলেরা: সবা, হবীলা, সব্তা, রয়মা ও সব্তেকা। রয়মার ছেলেরা: শিবা ও দদান।
10 Cush was the father of Nimrod, who became the world's first tyrant.
কূশ সেই নিম্রোদের বাবা, যিনি পৃথিবীতে এক বলশালী যোদ্ধা হয়ে উঠলেন।
11 Mizraim was the father of the Ludites, Anamites, Lehabites, Naphtuhites,
মিশর ছিলেন সেই লূদীয়, অনামীয়, লহাবীয়, নপ্তুহীয়,
12 Pathrusites, Casluhites, and Caphtorites (ancestors of the Philistines),
পথ্রোষীয়, কস্লূহীয় (যাদের থেকে ফিলিস্তিনীরা উৎপন্ন হয়েছে) ও কপ্তোরীয়দের বাবা।
13 Canaan was the father of his firstborn son, Sidon, and of the Hittites,
কনান ছিলেন তাঁর বড়ো ছেলে সীদোনের, ও হিত্তীয়,
14 Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites,
যিবূষীয়, ইমোরীয়, গির্গাশীয়,

16 Arvadites, Zemarites, and Hamathites.
অর্বদীয়, সমারীয় ও হমাতীয়দের বাবা।
17 The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram. The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Meshech.
শেমের ছেলেরা: এলম, অশূর, অর্ফক্ষদ, লূদ ও অরাম। অরামের ছেলেরা: ঊষ, হূল, গেথর ও মেশক।
18 Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah the father of Eber.
অর্ফক্ষদ হলেন শেলহের বাবা, এবং শেলহ ছিলেন এবরের বাবা।
19 Eber had two sons. One was named Peleg, because in his time the earth was divided; the name of his brother was Joktan.
এবরের দুটি ছেলের জন্ম হল: একজনের নাম দেওয়া হল পেলগ, কারণ তাঁর সময়কালেই পৃথিবী বিভিন্ন ভাষাবাদী জাতির আধারে বিভক্ত হল; তাঁর ভাইয়ের নাম দেওয়া হল যক্তন।
20 Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

32 The sons born to Keturah, Abraham's concubine. She gave birth to: Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.
অব্রাহামের উপপত্নী কটূরার গর্ভে যে ছেলেদের জন্ম হল, তারা হলেন: সিম্রণ, যক্ষণ, মদান, মিদিয়ন, যিষবক ও শূহ। যক্ষণের ছেলেরা: শিবা ও দদান।
33 The sons of Midian: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. These were all descendants of Keturah.
মিদিয়নের ছেলেরা: ঐফা, এফর, হনোক, অবীদ ও ইলদায়া। এরা সবাই কটূরার বংশধর ছিলেন।
34 Abraham was the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
অব্রাহাম ছিলেন ইস্হাকের বাবা। ইস্হাকের ছেলেরা: এষৌ ও ইস্রায়েল।
35 The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam and Korah.
এষৌর ছেলেরা: ইলীফস, রূয়েল, যিয়ূশ, যালম ও কোরহ।
36 The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam and Kenaz; and Amalek through Timna.
ইলীফসের ছেলেরা: তৈমন, ওমার, সেফো, গয়িতম ও কনস; তিম্নার ছেলে: অমালেক।
37 The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.

38 The sons of Seir: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer and Dishan.
সেয়ীরের ছেলেরা: লোটন, শোবল, শিবিয়োন, অনা, দিশোন, এৎসর ও দীশন।
39 The sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam. Lotan's sister was Timna.
লোটনের ছেলেরা: হোরি ও হোমম। তিম্না ছিলেন লোটনের বোন।
40 The sons of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho and Onam. The sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah.
শোবলের ছেলেরা: অলবন, মানহৎ, এবল, শফী ও ওনম। সিবিয়োনের ছেলেরা: অয়া ও অনা।
41 The son of Anah: Dishon. The sons of Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran and Keran.
অনার সন্তানেরা: দিশোন। দিশোনের ছেলেরা: হিমদন, ইশ্বন, যিত্রণ ও করাণ।
42 The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan and Akan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
এৎসরের ছেলেরা: বিলহন, সাবন ও আকন। দীশনের ছেলেরা: ঊষ ও অরাণ।
43 These were the kings who reigned over Edom before any Israelite king reigned over them: Bela son of Beor, the name of whose city was Dinhabah.
কোনও ইস্রায়েলী রাজা রাজত্ব করার আগে যে রাজারা ইদোমে রাজত্ব করে গেলেন, তারা হলেন: বিয়োরের ছেলে বেলা, যাঁর রাজধানী নগরের নাম দেওয়া হল দিনহাবা।
44 When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah took over as king.
বেলা যখন মারা যান, বস্রানিবাসী সেরহের ছেলে যোবব তখন রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন।
45 When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites took over as king.
যোবব যখন মারা যান, তৈমন দেশ থেকে আগত হূশম রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন।
46 When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, took over as king. He was the one who defeated Midian in the country of Moab. The name of his city was Avith.
হূশম যখন মারা যান, বেদদের ছেলে সেই হদদ তখন রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন, যিনি মোয়াব দেশে মিদিয়নীয়দের পরাজিত করলেন। তাঁর নগরের নাম দেওয়া হল অবীৎ।
47 When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah took over as king.
হদদ যখন মারা যান, মস্রেকানিবাসী সম্ল তখন রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন।
48 When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the River took over as king.
সম্ল যখন মারা যান, সেই নদীর নিকটবর্তী রহোবোৎ নিবাসী শৌল তখন রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন।
49 When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan, son of Acbor, took over as king.
শৌল যখন মারা যান, অকবোরের ছেলে বায়াল-হানন তখন রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন।
50 When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad took over as king. The name of his city was Pau. The name of his wife was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-Zahab.
বায়াল-হানন যখন মারা যান, হদদ রাজারূপে তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হলেন। তাঁর নগরের নাম দেওয়া হল পায়ূ, এবং তাঁর স্ত্রীর নাম মহেটবেল, যিনি মট্রেদের মেয়ে, ও মেষাহবের নাতনি ছিলেন।
51 Then Hadad died. The chiefs of Edom were: Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,
হদদও মারা গেলেন। ইদোমের দলপতিরা হলেন: তিম্ন, অলবা, যিথেৎ,
52 Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,
অহলীবামা, এলা, পীনোন,
53 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,
কনস, তৈমন, মিবসর,
54 Magdiel, and Iram. These were Edom's chiefs.
মগ্দীয়েল ও ঈরম। এরাই ইদোমের দলপতি ছিলেন।
